Service is horrible! Food never tastes fresh. Such a huge disappointment because every other chili's I've been to has been great!

Went to Lawton location. Hostess said we would have a 15 minute wait. She sat us in good time but 30 minutes later we have not seen a server, have no drinks etc. someone came to our table to give us someone else's food. Big table of 6 or 8 came in and were served their food. Still no drinks or greeting. Left and went to another restaurant. Got our food, ate and were out in just a few minutes longer than we sat at Chili's never going back read more

Sitting in the Bar area is decent to sit in, if you plan on having food, this is still a good option. I have been here several times. The only thing I have trouble with is the that the bartenders are at points not available and there is a long wait for drinks. The food at this location has always came out as expected, as requested and awesome. The staff here is good, I don't appreciate all the ones at the door who look at people like they are better than them. The place is always clean and welcoming for the most part with the prior exception. The waiting staff seems to fly through the place and check on you often. I would eat here again. read more

I am going to go ahead and put it out there that I have worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years on and off and have done every job in the front of the house from host to management. My husband and I went in last night and sat at the bar. First let me note that when we walked in there was no one there to greet us. Not sure where the host/hostess was but we just stood there looking lost. Finally we decided to just sit at the bar. The bartender seemed nice but he hardly spoke. He got our drink order and made our drinks and gave us menus. It took a good 10 minutes before he spoke to us again to ask for our order. He didn't take the time to write it down so when he went to put it in the computer he kept having to turn around and ask us again. From the time he put in our order it took a good 30 minutes plus to get our food. (which is ridiculous considering they weren't even busy) When our food did come out it was ran by a manager who handed us the food and ran off (didn't bother to make sure everything was okay or make sure we had everything we needed). We each ordered a triple dipper and I had mine with 2 orders of eggrolls and 1 order of the boneless buffalo wings. The boneless wings had some sort of tortilla or something stuck to one of them that had apparently been in the sauce bowl that my wings were tossed in. It was gooey and disgusting looking. I picked it off of my wing and set it off to the side where the bartender could clearly see it. He never once even tried to remove it from my view or ask how the food was. The food was absolutely terrible. It came out cold and my husband's burger bites were so dry he could barely choke them down. We watched the bartender for awhile and he was very very slow. There were 10 people tops sitting at the bar and he could barely keep up. We will not be back to this Chili's. It was a waste of $36. Also, a word of advice to bartender John, learn how to multi-task. It took a good 10 minutes for him to make 5 tickets worth of drinks because he was so scatter brained about it. One other complaint I had, we could clearly hear bantering and roughhousing from the staff while we were sitting at the bar, not to mention, someone in the back of the restaurant was either kicking or banging on one of the walls near the to-go area and it was actually really disturbing while we were trying to enjoy our dinner and have a conversation. read more

Worst experience ever this is the 2nd time I went that I waited more than an hour for my food to come out and the fact that there was only 4 other people sitting in there the manager was sitting down talking to people who got there food faster than us took 30 minutes just to get our drinks my food was cold so it was probably just sitting there the bathrooms are gross piss all over the floor not clean and saw a rat while I was walking out. read more

Chili's is known for it's great ribs, but I've never had them. Last time we were there, I got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich--it was ok. My husband ordered the fish tacos which, surprisingly, were excellent according to him. The host was awesome. He came outside to let us know that our table was ready. I can honestly say that has never happened before. I was pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was attentive and prompt on the beverage refills. He seemed to be knowledgable of the menu. read more

Had a less than desirable experience here a few weeks ago.. Waitress "forgot" some of our drinks, "Forgot" our dipping sauces and "forgot" half our food. We ended up getting ALMOST everything after asking 3-4 times for it, but still very lacking service. When i asked her to knock off the bill for "Forgetting" my salad completely, she laughed and did no such thing. Luckily the management at this location is understanding and did so instead. It wasn't so much the bad service, as it was her LAUGHING when I complained. She needs to find a new job. read more

Excellant Food. Had the Prime Rib fajitas which comes out on a sizzling hot skillet with cheese guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream. Chilis was clean and staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Others had guacamole burger with onion rings which was tasty and a rib eye steak which was cooked just as ordered medium rare. I have some serious medical problems, so ordered a plain chicken breast grilled. After checking with our server, I ordered mashed potatoes being assured that there was just potatoes and butter in them. The food came and there was sauce and avocados the potatots had onions in them and a huge glob of gravy on top! There also was a pile of brocoli in a baggy on the plate. After sending the food back twice, I was finally able to eat the plain chicken. The server was so apologetic which was so not her fault. The Manager never came over to state his concern! The women's restroom was filthy and the whole place looked rundown. I will never go there again! read more

Much improved! Staff was responsive as soon as we walked in the door. Very good experience. I met with the manager after my last experience of slow and poor service. The manager is very polite and cordial. He said that he is the new manager and that he has noticed a pattern at this particular restaurant. He stated that he is going to make sure everyone is properly trained and that situations like this do not happen again. I am willing to give them another chance under this new leadership. read more

We sat there for an hour with a crying toddler. The restaurant was empty and the hostess seemed stressed. She sat an older couple and didn't think about us first. She also could've offered us some drinks or something. Just to settle my toddler down. How is there a wait with an empty restaurant, it's ridiculous. Hire more people. Won't be going back! read more

Ate here early on a Saturday evening. The food was okay. I had a bacon cheeseburger of some kind and my wife had a quesadilla. My burger was a little dry; I should have asked for some A-1 or Heinz 57. My wife enjoyed her quesadilla; the sauce was really good. We had tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole as an appetizer. The server, Sonora, was very attentive and chatted with us a while after the meal. She checked on us several times during the meal. The restaurant was clean and offered a good atmosphere. read more

This was easily the worst chili's I have ever been too. Order Food to go and it came out almost 30 min late. Very simple item, Burger and side. They did not add anything I wanted on it, or remove anything I wanted removed. Burger came out soggy, and the patty slid off the bun. Was nothing like the chili's burger I usually get. I give them a 1 only because I have to leave something. The service is the worst I have ever seen. The waitress sits at the bar while I'm waiting forever to get any kind of service. My wife and I were there for 2 1/2 hours just for lunch.....and there literally was only 3 other tables occupied. There was 12 people in the kitchen working or not ...when I saw them they were just standing around talking and talking like no body had nothing to do today. It was social hour for the employees and the manager. I waited 30 more minutes to get my dessert that came with the entree and I finally gave up waiting and just left. I could understand if they were busy or short staffed, but they had plenty of staff and the parking lot was empty. This was 2:30 Saturday afternoon. Horrible Horrible Horrible. I can see why now the parking lot was empty, I should have got the hint. I haven't been to Chili's in years and I thought let's go there, mistake. SO I THOUGHT MAYBE I WOULD GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE, my son wanted to go there after church....SAME THING IT TOOK 3 HOURS FOR US TO EAT AND GET TO LEAVE.....ITS LIKE THEY HAVE YOU CAPTIVE AND YOU CANT GET OUT. If I could give the service a zero I would know Stars we sat in there for maybe 20 minutes after I have already placed the order because we had sat there for 10 minutes without even anybody coming up to ask us what we wanted to drink waited waited still nothing manager made eye contact several times checked several tables around us never came to check our table there was a table next to us as well. Who had sat there and waited so I asked the host to find out how long it would be before we get our food his response let me go find your waitress came back couldn't tell me who she was where she was didn't know where the order was didn't know what was going on he said I'll be back I'm going to go get your waitress if I can find her so I see the manager talking to another table so I try to get her attention by stop yelling excuse me a couple of times across their bow tables but yet she didn't hear didn't want to hear... Like most other restaurants within the Lawton city limits, the service is probably the worst I have ever had. When I got back from Iraq, I went to chilis for dinner. This location was crowded but I was seated and ordered fajitas. Other patrons were seated, ordered, got their food and left. By this point I was staying merely out of curiosity. The waitress repeatedly said, "5 more minutes every 15 minutes." The fajitas arrived after 90 minutes and the skillet was cold to the touch. I brought this to her attention and she said that she could reheat it. I asked for the manager who offered to reheat it. I explained that I was dissatisfied and would not pay for the meal. read more

I went there today for lunch. There were quite a few empty seats. There were several customers were waiting to be seated. I waited a few minutes and when no one was seated I asked the manager why. He said he didn't want to overwork the kitchen staff so it would be a 10 minute wait to be seated. I asked him if it would be better to seat the customers and let them at least order drinks and look at the menu while they were waiting. He said it didn't matter because it would still be 25 minutes before they could order meals anyway. I said it's still better to be seated. He said that's just how we do it. I won't be going back until after that manager is gone. read more

Been here twice this week since we received a gift card. Went on Saturday night and sat in the bar area. Food was outstanding and wasn't a long wait, were in and out pretty quick. Went again today with my kids and service was alright....feel like we could've been checked on a little more. The new tablet things they have on the table are pretty neat. 2 for 20 is the way to go. Horrible experience. We split a burger and it was not prepared as requested. The server took 1/2 the burger back to have a new one fired up. The half of the burger that was sent back and a manager delivered it with a new half bottom bun that never even hit the grill; it was a bun pulled out of the bag, cut in half, and put on the bottom. I spoke with the manager a second time who said he would credit the burger ... apparently he said he would credit 1/2 the burger... really, that's not what I heard. Sure enough the bill came and they credited 1/2 a burger. How ridiculous is that, not to mention it wasn't for the entire cost of half the burger as we ordered the grass-fed which had an additional up charge. This is about the principle of the matter (not about the cost; it was a $10 burger)... again, what manager decides to credit 1/2 a burger. Additionally, the bill charged us for 2 bowls of soup. I asked to speak to the manager again. A different manager came out credited the whole burger and removed the extra bowl of soup and was sincere about the poor experience. There were some pretty basic things that caused this to be a bad customer experience and could have been turned around easily; Quality checks before food leaves the kitchen and empowering managers to do the right thing for the customer. read more

Should have checked the reviews. Some if the worst food ever. To go order was supposed to be ready at 7pm. At 7:30 it had not been prepared. When it finally arrived, everything was cold and STALE, just awful! I asked the to remake and they rolled their eyes. I had a strawberry lemonade that tasted like water. Once they remade the food, the wings were still old almost mushy, no freshness. Also, they changed their BBQ sauce and it is dreadful! WTF, people have been enjoying that sauce for years. Seems like they rehired the terrible ex-manager. I used to hate this specific Chiles, then it seemed to have turned around. Today, 15 June 16 (7-9pm) we had to wait 5 minutes to even talk to a hostess even though half the tables were empty. After finally getting seated, our meal took over an hour and a half before served. Keep in mind that there were only a few other tables occupied. The waiter informed me that the manager wanted to give me a lousy $10 coupon, which hardly made up the terribly cooked food, time lost waiting, and and having to put the kids to bed late. The poor waiter was doing fine, but there is obviously mismanagement at this specific Chiles. Horrible and not going back to this Chiles. Too bad- and two thumbs down. read more

I have been to this Chilis dozens of times and have never been disappointed. However, today was my first take-out order. I got the bacon cheeseburger with an egg added. Technically I was provided a bacon cheeseburger, since there was one piece of bacon, but I really expected more. Ordered the half California turkey club lunch break to go. Should've looked at it before walking out. Menu said served with fries but mine must've been a special order because it didn't come with it. The half sandwich was placed in a full size container that would've been ideal had there been fries to fill in the empty space. But since there was none, my sandwich could not take the bumpy ride home and ended up falling apart. What I got was a turkey club mess. May I suggest sticking a toothpick in to keep it in place?? Not to mention the bread seemed to be saturated in butter yet managed to crumble around the edges. Should I say a day or two old bread?? I have eaten at many other chili's and alway got descent service and always good food, but the service and the food at the Lawton location was horrible tonight. They did compensate us with a discount, but we came in to enjoy a good meal with our family. We were in town for a funeral and it had been a long day. Broccoli was hardly thawed out, steaks were over cooked, chilli queso was cold, mac n cheese was over cooked and gummy. On top of all that, we waited at least 15 minutes after we were seated for someone to greet us and finally my husband went back to the hostess stand ask if someone was coming. I ate her in Feb 2019. The ribs were still frozen, but the waiter made it right and the manager gave a free dessert. So we decided to eat here again March 2019 on a Wednesday @ 6. So the place was no where near crowded. The service this trip has been awful. I ordered the bottomless chips and salsa...well let's just say I found the bottom and after 13 mins of trying to flag the waiter down I got his attention when he came to tell me my food was almost ready. 6 mins later with still no chips and I'm writing this review, I will update if the service improves, but I think my chilis trips will have to be postponed until I leave this town! Normally this place is quick to seat and serve but today I tried to come here before my wife went to work...we sat at the front door for a little bit and was then seated we sat for 15 minutes with servers helping every other table someone came by and cleaned the railing behind us and then left...I came again to give the benefit of the doubt and lo and behold no one was there to seat people in the front...some people left some stayed...we were seated and sat for 10-15 minutes before a server showed up and took our order...this place used to be good now it's garbage read more

Very friendly service. Welcomed perfectly. Perfect timing of service by waitress. But... If you sit at a certain angle from the bar area/table area, you can see ALL THE COOKS making food without gloves. Just saw two cooks outside smoking. And then they don't where gloves? Pretty disgusting if you'd ask me. Plus the burger I ordered was over cooked and heavily seasoned. My girlfriend's steak was perfectly cooked but overwhelmingly seasonly. Nearly unbearable. These is the worse chili's I ever visited. The steak was chewy, with no flavor, the broccoli it was raw and disgusting. I talked to the manager because my daughter couldn't eat her food and asked her if she could take it off from the receipt and she said no that she will give me a discount.
