let me get this out of the way- i usually hate chilis. i was starving, on the road, and needed some protein. i thought "what the hell" it's been a while. i had a great experience! i wish i could remember my server's name, but he was wonderful and welcoming. i got the mixed grill fajitas with chicken, steak, and shrimp, and my only complaint was that the steak was a little dry and i had asked for no tortillas... and i was given tortillas. no big deal. i make the drive through los banos often and will definitely make this a regular stop. read more

I put in an online order at 4:53pm I put it for pick up at 7:30 here it is now 8:38pm and barely receiving my order because turns out they never received my order. Sean then comes out to tell me that the order failed. Thank god I put my order to pay at restaurant other wise I would of got stuck with waiting for my money to be returned. Also I was never notified that my order was canceled. So I had to put in my order there and wait another 30minutes to have my food ready. Pretty nice improvement. I came to this chili's when it first opened and it wasn't the best. Service was slow, food was cold, and nobody seemed interested in the customers. Coming back again though, wow! Service was on point, quick and frequently asking if we needed anything, automatic refills, and the food was awesome! Server Jessica was inattentive and it wasn't busy at the time we went in. We sat and waited 15min before she approached us and to take our drink order. Came back 20 min later to take our meal order I looked around only to see her in the back laughing with the cooks ‍ she came back around not to us but to the bar starts flirting with some guy at this point I knew we had lost her lol She messed up our bill and when asked her to correct it she had an attitude. We tried communicate with her that error is her fault and not ours. Of course she didn't want to hear any of it. She got really upset to where her breathing got heavily and started losing it,gave more attitude to the point where the manager had to step in. And ask her to leave the area. A typical restaurant that serves what I call "Factory Food." My results with Chili's is hit or miss, mostly miss. Twice when I've ordered the rib, they were cold. Back they went and 15 minutes later they're back and they're only slightly warmer. Had to get the manager to straighten it out. Won't be back. The waitresses tend to be scarce at times; busy in the back and neglecting customers. They got 2 stars for the good deserts. read more

Went with my son. I worked at this location for 2 years when it first opened so I know the ends and outs and don't hold high expectations at chain restaurants. I had the ancho salmon, broccoli and corn, my son had a quesadilla and fries. We sat in the lounge only one server and the bartender. it was semi busy due to sunday football. They handled it well..service was a little slow but the server had several tables and I'm patient. Food was hot and good. Side note: I will never forget the day i was bartending day shift which means you get the lounge and have no control over customers seating there. We cut most of the staff bc it was slow. We didn't know it was jr. high grad day. I got slammed with a table of 15, 12, etc. full lounge all at once post graduation ceremony. I had to serve the entire lounge food and drinks, multiple virgin strawberry daiquiris (blended drinks and kids are a bartenders nightmare) plus making drinks for the entire restaurant. I had nightmares about that day. The customers felt so bad for me being completely overwhelmed they still tipped me good. My point is...be nice to your servers sometimes things are out of their hands as long as they are polite..tip well read more

What a let down.....Chili's really has lost its standards. Paid $13 for a burger that was mediocre at best, the sad part is it took 45 minutes to make that... comparable to a drive thru burger that cost $4. Thought they couldn't mess up on drinks....wrong! We stopped by here Sunday night 3/3. Our waitress was nice enough, but definitely looked overworked as she ran from table to table. Our food was slow to come out, and was mediocre to poor- my friend's enchiladas were overcooked, my boyfriend's salad was wilted, and my shrimp tacos had the wrong tortilla choice plus looked like they had been sitting for a while. We were starving so we ate it anyway- big mistake! I am currently writing this on the toilet, and my boyfriend wasn't much better. Never again! read more

We tried Chili's again. The food was good,bartender was great! Our server was HORRIBLE. I had to ask the manager for assistance. The waitress would walk right pass us. She kept telling us, "oh I'm sorry, I forgot." At one point we asked her for the second time where out magarita was she forgot again. When came she was all omg I'm sorry I forgot it, let me go get it. My husband told her I went to the bar to get one and she said,"oh good, I don't have to get it now." I'm coming from Lancaster to the Bay Area with my family (family of 6) and of course we have no choice but to stop and eat in Los Banos so we stopped at chilliest the food was very ok but the service was terrible our server Esmeralda was very unprofessional flirting with my husband really???? Then had an attitude when I'd ask for napkins and walked away when I was in the middle of talking just very rude I was quick to catch her name on her shirt I couldn't wait to write a review I spoke with another staff member about her behavior and she mentioned shes always bringing trouble into the job site GO FIGURE! This is suppose to be a family friendly place I wouldn't put it pass her if she put something in my food!! So I just ate off my husbands plate since she was so into him! My cousins quesadillas was cold. We also had 2 different servers and the manager serve us. They had a lot of items on the menu that was not available because they ran out. We just ate there for lunch. Our first time here, although we live here lol. When we stepped in we were unsure if we were to wait to be seated or to seat ourselves. Luckily, a kind waitress spotted us and promptly ushered us to our booth. Unfortunately for us our booth lacked the cleanliness we expected. There was something that looked like soft moist food particles on the seat my son was about to sit in, and the table top was sticky. The waitress heard my son tell me about the food on the booth bench but just stared absent minded at us. She also herd him complain about the stickiness of the table but, just sat down the menus and left. The food was just as good as a dennys. What do you expect from a chain restaurant, really? The menu in my opinion is on the small side. I ordered the old fashion burger with cheese and it was ok. I had to request onions for it. I thought it came with them? We ordered the quesadilla explosion tonight, the Deliver dropped part of the quesadilla on the floor and said she be right back with the replacement, by the end of the meal I had to remind them and it finally arrived. There's gotta be a reason why we always have the worst service when we eat at a Chili's. The food is always good and love the chips but the service always stinks no matter the city it is in! When I go to a full service restaurant I do not think it is necessary to stand up to get someone to go find your server and I should never have to ask for my water to be refilled!! And if the kiosk light is blinking red maybe that would indicate it doesn't work so don't just assume we will be paying that way! Just saying!! Will we ever learn??
