Good food but when I ordered the waitress didn't get my order right and I had to repeat myself a lot. My meal then later was wrong, plates badly, and the waitress dropped half of it on the floor! She was also very slow and seemed to have a bit of an attitude when we asked for more chips. Later my little brother was scared to eat his meal because there was a hair on it! He ended up only eating his side which was also wrong instead of fries he got a salad. Otherwise I've had great experiences here but know it has me asking why did I come? The WORST Chili's establishment I've ever attended. Our appetizers took 35 minutes to come out and the food took another 40 minutes to come out. It was only us two, and four other couples there. Appetizers came out cold, as if they were just sitting around for an hour. Food was unseasoned and also just as cold as the appetizers. It's hard to mess up chicken tenders and fries but they did! Granted it was very late, but if you don't want to cook fresh food and only want to reheat chicken that probably sat for who knows how long, maybe you should close earlier. The chicken was hot and not crispy (microwaved) which is bad when they are called chicken crispers and the fries were cold. You heavily salt and pepper the corn but the fries had zero seasoning. Just another average Chili's with average food and service. We were staying at the hotel next door so came here for convenience and to watch the NBA finals. Bartender was nice and put the game on for us at the bar. We ordered the house salads with the Cajun chicken pasta. Unfortunately they brought the salad and entree out together when we had asked to bring the salads out first. Salad was good but the chicken in the pasta was really dry. This chili's was disappointing compared to other ones I've been to. I went with a larger party when the restaurant was not very full, and it took us almost two hours to get our food. For the second time, we visited this restaurant and were rewarded with poor service. This time we went for lunch for my wife's birthday. First issue: No one at reception podium to greet and seat us for 5 minutes. Second issue: Took about 5-10 minutes once we were seated to have a server greet us and take our drink order. Third issue and last straw: We ordered to chicken sandwiches and waited... and waited... until we finally just got up and left. By that time, at least 20-25 minutes had past-- and a couple sitting near us who were seated after us, received their food!! (These times were not exaggerated.) I mentioned this was the second time this happened to us, with the last one for dinner. We believe in second chances, but not third ones. Will not be returning. Servers have nothing to do, so they are on their phones, and tend to be more interested in who did what over the weekend than to know their customer more. So we gave Chili's a second chance. Big mistake! I have been going to Chili's in other cities for many years. A group of us went to Chili's in Lynchburg VA. First the waitress was good even though 4 times we had to send the flatware back because they were filthy? Visible rice stuck to one fork, knives caked with something and these were no water stains finally one in our group asked for a glass of hot water and a glass of club soda so WE could wash the utensils! The manager came over apologizing however, when you make excuses that is not an apology! None of us will go back EVER. If this is representative of Chili's now, and an apology like "so what!" Who needs it! The waitress put 9 sets of flatware on table since 4 times we brought the filthy forks and knives to her attention. Better yet Clean your flatware, don't apologize like it is an effort, and well 5 customers lost but that includes family and friends and one woman in our party had never been to a Chilis and I cannot imagine how word of mouth will do to the business! read more

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Our waiter was not attentive at all, and didn't really seemed like he cared at all. My order was also wrong, and this is not the first time that this has happened. Our waiter also didn't really seemed like he cared when I told him that my order was wrong. We also had to wait forever to get our checks from him. At that point, we were just ready to get out of there. 15 minutes later he brought our checks and walked away without giving us pens to sign the receipt. Then we had to ask another waiter for a pen because our waiter was nowhere to be found. I would not recommend this place if you don't want to wait forever. We ordered as soon as we were seated since we knew what we wanted and still had to spend a hour and a half there not because we wanted to but because our waiter was never around. This is one of me & my husband's favorite restaurants in Lynchburg. The service has always been top notch every time we have gone! The servers are always very intentional to make genuine conversations with us. Our food is always served very quickly and super fresh. Customer Service is lacking. Three families went to Chili's for a family celebration. My wife and I were the 1st to arrive. We were taken to a booth that seats six. I asked for a table instead as four of the six adults are 6' - 6'4'. We also had a 10 month old baby that needed a high chair. I was told by not 1 but 2 of the hosts that we would be moved if something opened up. It was true that two large seating areas were full. After a few minutes I noticed that on the far side of the restaurant, two tables were empty and a third one in the middle was about to open up as a lady was sitting there about to leave with a carton of food, waiting for her husband to return from the restroom. I mentioned this to the host, asking if we could combine any of the two out of three tables. To my great disappointment, this didn't happen. Six of us and the baby were not moved but were left crammed in a both. The food was fine and the waitress really tried. To compound her difficulty the table across from us also had an infant so there were back to back high chairs in the aisle, making it challenging for servers to walk through. Lunch was miserable. It was difficult to cut the food without elbowing the person next t you. Note to Chili's management: if you say you are going to do something, do it. Your customer service is only as good as your word. If you are looking to a place to celebrate with more than 4 people, this is not the place to go. read more

My boyfriend and I used to love coming to this Chili's. Last time we went was back in January. The food is great don't get me wrong but they just put our order in wrong and ended up burning our fried pickles so we had to wait for them to be cooked again. Which was honestly pretty frustrating. Another thing that upset me was they NEVER have the chicken waffle crispers or whatever they're called available. I wanted to try them ever since the first time I went there and to my surprise every time we went I got the same story of oh sorry we're out. This was my first time visiting, I arrived at opening time 11 am on Wednesday. I had the endless soup and salad which comes with an enormous bowl of chips and salsa. It was so worth it @ $7.99!! The loaded baked potato soup is amazing!! The salad is very fresh. The salsa was great. The chips were mostly good, some had a bit too much salt on them, that would be my only critique, less or no salt on the chips and let the guests put it on to their liking. The inside is very nice!! The wait staff is very attentive and at the end of the meal when we wanted to box up the salsa and chips, they gave us a fresh container of salsa and a bag of fresh chips to go on the house! There was no wait time however when we walked through the door the employees looked a little confused like "Are you seating them or am I?". I have an onion allergy and specifically asked twice to not put any onions on my steak fajitas. My guest ordered the BBQ platter. When they brought out our food my guests platter was luke warm. My food was covered in onions. Since I was unable to eat it they were really nice about bringing me a new one. HOWEVER when they brought the second one it also was covered in onions! After a very long day we just wanted to grab some food and have a good meal. Saw Chili's wasn't busy so decided to go there. Waitress was rude from the beginning and wore a mask that said "fake smiles" . Ordered right away. Was told a bus with a team of softball girls had a to go order so our food would be delayed. So chips came but so salty we could barely eat. I ask for more chips without salt, waitress replied she would ask the cook to drop some but because of the softball team to go order she could not. I kindly explained to her the importance of waiting on the customer that bothered to come in and sit down over a to go order . At that point I was tired of hearing about the girls softball team. Finally got our food and chips that she slid across our table. Why the rudeness? Maybe because she was pregnant? But her tip showed in her customer service.
