Our waitress was not good at all we ask for our coke no ice she brought it loads of ice so when she finally came back I said may I have the coke with no ice she did apologize then salad came I took bite of lettuce it did not taste clean when she went to give us out silver ware knife flow out of the brown bag it came in she was laughing I don't think it was funny at all she did not replace it after it landed on table yuk we said we want a certain cheeseburger she kept saying old timer one we would say no service was horrible horrible horrible this was our first time eating at chili and last time she seem like a waitress in a hurry all the time I was watching other waitress they did not look like that they seemed calm we did tip her good our bill was 32. We did give a 7.00 to her in cash so she gets to keep it all not pay taxes on it they do work hard for their money no matter what she was a young girl we just won't eat there again Good Luck. It's always a hit or miss with chili's. Their menu isn't too unique to begin with and nothing stands out as their best meal. Last few times we went our service was good and our food was okay. This time though our service was pretty bad. Our waitress was in training but she came and took our order and we never saw her again at our table. She kept looking from a distance at our table but never came to refill our drinks or give us plates for the appetizer. We waited about 30 minutes for the appetizer and another 15 for food. Not once did she come update us on the meals or ask if we needed anything. We had to flag down a host and ask them to find her. Finally when she came she was very apologetic (seemed like she had forgotten about our table) and refilled out drinks, but then she proceeded to neglect our table again! Our food was cleared and we were waiting for our to-go order that we had placed as soon as our meals had come out...we waited 45 minutes. And we had to flag down another host to have her check on the meal and she brought it out immediately implying that it had been sitting there for a while. I should have spoken to a manager but I hesitated and I regret it. We were very polite and very patient with her so there was no need to receive that type of service. Anyways, that's my story! I know, I know... "why would you go to Chili's in the first place?" The answer is I'm a west sider & didn't really know where else to go. This location is probably the worst chain restaurant I've ever been to for a myriad of reasons. 1) There were 10 tables open, but a 30 minute wait. I get it, the kitchen was probably getting a little backed up & you don't want to double sit someone. However, 30 minutes is pretty insane. "Why didn't you just leave?" Well, see above & honestly.... there's not that many options in Macedonia to be honest :/ (don't @ me). 2) The service is garbage. Our server wasn't the absolute worst but only because she was nice. But the other times I have gone no one cares & "they're super busy" but NO ONE is hustling and bustling. It's like the same pace whether it's empty or slammed. I was impressed though because this one server was taking some HEAT from this lady because the wait to get food was insanely long & she was obviously upset. The server did a good job calming the situation. 3) The kitchen is garbage. They truly are the ones causing 99% of the issues. They can't keep up with orders regardless of the time of day & it took forever to get a medium well burger & quesadilla to us. Also the quesadilla was definitely overcooked but I guess it's better than undercooked. The quality isn't awful, I mean it's a Chili's so calibrate yourself, but it's not "very good." 4) I'll still go to other Chili's locations if I'm in a pinch or trying to have a Michael Scott moment, but I'm definitely not coming back to this one. I haven't been here in awhile. It used to be so good. Our waitress was very kind and nice but not tentative enough. We ordered the bottomless chips, finished one and just wanted a second before we ordered our meals, so we put that in. We never got them and received our entrees before hand and asked for them again. Didn't receive them for another 10 min after we had received our entrees. I was never given a refill of my water as well. I ordered the Bacon Rancher Burger which is supposed to have 6 slices of bacon, house made ranch dressing, American cheese on each patty, onions, and pickles. It was so greasy that my bottom bun had become a soggy piece of bread which was not great, it had no ranch on it, only 1 slice of bacon and no onions or cheese. Now I had just glanced at this menu item so I thought maybe the patties were ranch infused and the other toppings weren't apart of it. So I didn't bother to ask about it. ( always read the full menu description lol) I later looked up this item and read through it and realized I had been duped on my burger. Chicken Fajita So our family went here for dinner. I orderd steak an chicken fajitas,server brought the skillet out ,i had to ask for my lettuce, cheese an cream, finally got that, I had to ask server 3 times for tortillas, never got them! I then started to eat my chicken an steak without the tortillas, it got cold, asked server to take it off the bill, so i just had a side salad for dinner . I looked other feedbacks about this. So much bad feedbacks for this year, 2016-2017. It makes me feel concerned but I tried to encourage myself and was very curious to find out how's chili's than ignoring it. I admitted.. right now, this is improving much better. They have super nice servers. My friend and I travel to Rochester, New York from Nashville, Tennessee. That's where we stopped at Chili's and take a rest little. Maybe both of lunch and dinner time won't hurt. Believe me, you can go there and enjoy! This service is excellent. The food is extremely delicious. I don't see any problems on food. Stopped in for a happy hour drink and to dine this week. Have been to this location in Macedonia many times over the years. Always has been one of the highlights of my trips...not this year. Went in after 3 pm and was told happy hour was only for people sitting at the bar. Never have I heard of that before. Makes no sense....what do you have happy hour for a few customers and unhappy hour for the rest of your clients? Ordered both boneless and chicken wings with bone in. Took forty five minutes to get the order, and was presented with two orders of boneless wings....which the server knew was wrong the second she put it on the table. So, she told me she would get the fresh order done with the bones in. Bit into the boneless wing and it was, at best, barely warm. It must have been sitting in a cold breeze in the kitchen or something. Not good. When the other order of wings came, I took one bite and almost yacked. The chicken inside was not even slightly cooked. It was pink and there was a shiny gel on the bone. Server apologized, which was nice but hardly fixed the issue. It was food poisoning waiting to happen. No offers to help remedy the situation. Got the bill (no happy hour pricing) and left......and chances of going back are pretty slim. Something very wrong and different going on over there, because for at least ten years, every other dining experience has been great. Going forward, it's a definite place to avoid. read more

I usually love Chili's but this visit was TERRIBLE! We ordered an appetizer- chips and queso. The queso tasted and looked like hamburger helper. It was also very cold. For dinner I ordered the Chili Burger. However, I didn't get chili on my burger, it was sloppy joe mix. On top of everything our waitress was rude and our drink glasses weren't cleaned. I'm giving it 4 stars because our server was a DOLL! Very attentive and gave us suggestions. Other positives were some meals were very very good including the Tex-mex bowl and the combination platter. Yum! Generally food is hit or miss. Sometimes so good you can't believe you haven't been here in a while and other times nothing to write home about. Today's visit was 1/2 and 1/2. They didn't have pineapple on the Caribbean salad that was ordered and they advertise "fresh hand cut pineapple" in the description. Mama D wasn't happy-seeing as that's the reason she ordered the salad. It's like ordering a mushroom burger with no mushrooms! :( she mentioned it to the server who said she'd go get some and came back (expectantly) and reported that they were out. The manager came and apologized and then said he could have easily gone to the store next door for pineapple but he was too busy to. Appreciate the apology, but you should rectify a mistake with more than words sometimes, especially since it was an $11 salad! Bottom line: We were glad we had a gift card. My family decided to stop here for lunch, of course without my vote but it was eh for me. One, I wasn't hungry, two I wasn't up for chillis, three I'm just tired from riding in the car coming from New York to Midwest. I've been snacking in the car for every hour or so and I decided to order a chicken salad that I didn't even touch. I should of been smarter and not order because I did end up throwing out the salad because it got warm since it was so hot out and the smell was seeking through the whole car. Nonetheless, our server was nice and very friendly and quick! And I love that type of services! Well, it sure was busy during lunch hours! My family and I stopped here on our way home from cleveland. The hostess's were so nice, they did mention they weren't sure what was wrong with the kitchen and why we had to wait. Our wait was only about 10 minutes, which is totally fine, but I found it strange they said there was something wrong with the kitchen. The waitress seemed a little flustered, she said we didn't have any silverware yet because there was none prepared and she have to go prepare some, but she was very polite. My son's grilled cheese looked more like a plain cheese sandwich. I ordered the Honey-Chipotle Chicken & Waffles, which was tasty but lacked a lot of sauce so the waffles were rather dry. If it weren't for the fact that I love their salad dressing, I'd probably stop going here. Maybe I need to stick to just salads!? We used to love Chili's. Yeah, I know. A chain. But seriously, that citrus balsamic dressing is da bomb. The problem is that it's become very inconsistent. On our last two visits, at least one of our plates had clearly sat under the heat lamp for quite some time, as the plate was searing hot, and it was not a dish that may have been thrown in the oven to melt cheese or something. We frequent Chili's occasionally, but on the last visit we were disappointed with the food. We ordered hamburgers and they were GREASE soaked - not meat juice, GREASE. I removed the bottom of the bun, but it was disgusting to look at. I could have squeezed the fat out of the burger. We ate some fries and left. My most recent experience at Chilis was not great. Numerous things were just not going right such as their online ordering. It never works! After completing the order it always says something went wrong and to just call. Well great you just wasted 10 min of our day! So then my husband calls to make our order for pickup. He called around noon and tells them the order is for 4:30 so that we can pick it up when I get done with work. I show up at 4:30. The guy at the to go counter seems completely confused. Maybe he was high as it was 4:20? Anyway I tell him I'm here to pick up my order. He asked for my name and phone number. I tell him. Then he says " so what do you want"?! I'm pretty sure the look on my face was utter shock... I tell him my food? Now he is really confused which is fascinating since this is a restaurant.... eventually he says oh ok here is your food. Which is sitting in a bag right beside him. I get home and we sit down to eat. 1/2 the food was missing and the rest is as cold as could be. My chicken literally is as cold as a refrigerator. I'm assuming they cooked the food when we ordered it and then just stuck it in the fridge... I didn't even bother caller because I'm sure the dude would have been even more confused or high or whatever kids these days do. I'm done chilis. We enjoyed some of our meal. They had one of those table tvs and it had some specials. So we tried to order some specials but they were only for people physically at the bar - well then why put them on the table? That's OK. So we ordered margaritas and waters. The margarita special was great but the waters had little floaters that looked like pepper and mine had a hair that was like an eyelash. Ok. so,I am not a big fan of chain restaurants but some family members wanted to meet here for lunch. I ordered the lunch chicken fajita special and doggone it, it was really good. The chicken was tender and juicy, the fajita veggies were caramelized and delicious! It was plenty of food for lunch and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was really great, kind, quick and patient. The receipt said his name was Creeps (guessing this is a nickname) and he went out of his way to make our lunch a pleasure. I went here with some coworkers for lunch around the holidays. I hadn't been to chili's in many years. I was pleasantly surprised by how good of a deal the lunch combo was. The chicken bacon ranch quesadillas were flavorful, chips and salsa were average, and the salad was small, but flavorful. Usually I have a really good experience at Chili's but today was not that day. I ordered online like I normally do and went to pick it up. It wasn't ready which was no biggie. The very nice lady beings out the bag and half of my order is missing. I try to get her attention but failed so I hobbled in( I'm in a walking boot from a foot injury) and let her know that I missing my the other half of my order and the condiments that I requested online. She was nice and went and got it for me. She apologized and I left. I got home and opened the box and my quesadillas looked like my five year old son made them! It was just chicken and cheese even though I specified that I wanted onions and peppers. There is boxes that click if you want this. A few of them didn't even have chicken in them just cheese and they were warm almost cold enough that you knew they might have been sitting even though it wasn't ready. Now for a Saturday evening, I was surprised that they were not busy so I was confused as to why my food wasn't ready just to be warmish. Chili's - My cheese and chicken quesadillas minus the peppers and onions that I requested. - Tex-Mex Near Me - Macedonia, Ohio

Chili's has so many fond memories that are reflected in Stars #4 and #5. It all started many years ago with the chili's near my high school, and continued through there. While on a business trip, I had to stop there for dinner because my mignon had never experienced Chili's. As his boss, I felt obligated to expand his mind, just a little. Their Endless chips and salsa are my favorite meal - i could literally eat just that for dinner. The Oldtimer burger is amazing and their fries are some of the best ever. Their healthier options are pretty good too, while on the road, I can always count on the salmon and broccoli to be delicious. The margarita grilled chicken and tortilla soup are other favorites, as well as the chicken caesar salad. And how can you go wrong with potato skins?? Anyways, I would be remiss if don't mention how great the service was at this particular Chili's. JJ was awesome, friendly and attentive.
