Was it good? Yes. Was it priced appropriately? Sure. It's a corporate American chain restaurant. Does anything stand out amongst the food? No. I mean, it's the same everywhere you go. They share the same food because they buy mass-produced, pre-made ingredients from the same major food distributors. Our waitress was very nice and made sure to take care of us with a smile. She offered suggestions and was attentive without being overbearing. Interior was very clean. Banquet seats were soft and not worn down. Bring a jacket though! I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Chili's. The customer service was poor from the moment we arrived. We waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order, and when the drinks finally arrived, the order was incorrect. To make matters worse, the silverware provided was dirty and covered in spots. I had to wait and track down a server just to get clean plastic utensils. The service throughout the visit was slow and inattentive. The food quality was equally disappointing. My meal was burnt, the mac and cheese was watery, and I waited an excessive amount of time for a simple order of fries. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and frustrating. Chili's has made some changes they didn't disclose. I've ordered the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas for years and is painfully obvious these were intentionally made smaller and with less filling than usual. Not sure if this was just a bad night or an attempt to save money by cutting corners, but the increased price and lack of full portion size makes it clear Chili's is screwing customers. Haven't been to Chili's in years. Was crowded on a Saturday so we waited 30-40 mins. The waiter was nice & gave us good service. The hot take was the viral cheese sticks. Got the hot Nashville sauce. We visited this Chili's on our way to Savannah. Truth be told, I'm kind of biased & actually like eating at Chilis. There is always an extensive kids menu to choose from & they still keep some of my favorites on their menu (Cajun pasta, southwest egg rolls, Buffalo chicken sammie) while adding new items. This location is in Macon, not too far from the exit. One unique fact about this location is they offer coveted outdoor seating. Honestly, this is the first time I've seen that offered at a Chilis, and such a random place to have it. Our service was prompt in the bar area. Atmosphere was decent and place looked semi-clean. I liked they had high tops and booths in the bar area. We ordered one of their specialty October drinks that came with fake fangs. It was decent but didn't really provide a punch. My meal, the Cajun Chicken Pasta, was delicious as usual. You can seriously make two meals out of it! Garlic Bread was cooked perfectly for it. No complaints on this stop! read more

The wait time was 45 minutes which is reasonable due to the fact it was busy, but the wait time for our food was almost hour and the restaurant slowly started not getting busy but we were waiting longer. On Sunday, October 1, 2023 around 8:45pm I ordered from Chili's/Its Just Wings [5080 Riverside Dr. Macon, GA 31210]. I asked for 8 pc wing combo with two (2) different wing sauces. This combo come with fries. I have ordered here before, and was pleased with my wings in the past. But on October 1, 2023 I just got a cook who was ready to clock out and didn't give a damn about the health of the customer eating the food they cooked! I recieved barely any sauce on my wings. Everything was mixed up together! Not separated as normal when you get two different sauces. My fries were overly cooked, salty and hard! The worst part...MY CHICKEN WAS NOT COOKED INSIDE! I started spitting up the food. I contacted Uber Eats and sent pictures. They apologized and stated nobody should have to eat raw food! I even posted on Facebook my ordeal and tagged Chili's/It's Just Wings and they have yet to respond or even try to replace the food or even a refund! I called for the termination of the cook who served me this raw meal. I guess he/she still cooking getting someone else sick. I will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. Not only did Christopher make great suggestions and alternatives for what was ordered he relayed information very well in accordance with the kitchen timing. The hostess that Sat us, Madison was real sweet and very courteous. After we sat down, our waitress, Morgan came by and abruptly said, what do you want to drink. No welcome no smile no nothing during the whole experience. She was very abrupt with everything and made us feel very uncomfortable. And because I had a 20% discount on the food she had to do separate checks That really pissed her off and her attitude showed it I left a five dollar tip on the food. I was gonna leave another five dollar tip on the drinks. But she abruptly grabbed the five dollars from the table and walked away, so when I went ahead and charged my card for the alcohol, I did not add any more tip. This girl should not be a waitress, especially at a Chili's. Because usually Chili's makes you feel very comfortable and we've always had a good time now. Honestly the service here is hit or miss, it depends if they are busy are not. One thing for sure, the MANAGER is super sweet and always makes sure his customers are taken care of. The food is pretty good and the servers are always super sweet, I had a problem with my food taking too long and our waitress being too busy on my last visit but my visit prior to my last visit was excellent. I've never had an issue with my server being rude or anything, they are always nice. The issue I had was, it took about 20-30m mins for us to get our food and when we got it, it wasn't hot. I'm hoping this is a once in a blue moon type of situation but I was so tired after waiting so long I didn't even complain about the hotness of the food I just complained about how long it took (We were hungry)! I believe the fact that the manager is so caring is why I gave 4 stars after having so many issues after my last visit. The prices here aren't bad and they even have little kiosk on the table so you can play a game (for .99) while waiting. It's a pretty cool atmosphere to go with family or friends. I personally don't think the food is all that great but my main reasoning for not going here was the fact that a server added an unauthorized tip to my card after I left a cash tip. They think we are crazy and don't keep track of receipts or even look. The manager was awesome in responding and returning my money to my card hence the additional star. It's a new item on the list & it was definitely worth it & a great price. Also, the margarita special of the month with Hennessy was on point. Last night I took my wife and son to eat at Chili's. We've never been to this location and hadn't been to Chili's in years. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer. Several minutes later, the waitress came back and took our food order. After about 20 minutes, our appetizer came out along with my son's pizza. I told the food runner who brought it out that I'd rather his food came out at the same time as ours because otherwise he'd gobble up his dinner and sit there bored while my wife and I ate. He's only 6, so keeping his entertained is still a priority. The food runner then said, "Oh, but your food is right here." and another food runner walked up with our food. Our waitress came up just then and I explained to her (nicely, I am NEVER rude with food service workers. Remember, whatever happens, its probably the kitchen's fault--not your server!) that our appetizer arrived at the same time as our food. We'd ordered the appetizer so that we would have something for our son to munch on to keep him entertained before dinner. The waitress misunderstood and told the food runners to take our food back to the kitchen! That means it would sit under the hot lamp while we ate our appetizer. That isn't a solution, but both hot food runners and our waitress scampered off before I could say anything. I ended up having to call the manager over and explain what had happened. We didn't want the appetizer if it came out at the same time as our meals because that defeats the whole purpose of an appetizer. The manager was very understanding and told us she'd take the appetizer off our bill and make sure that our food was brought out to us immediately. I made certain to point out to the manager that this was NOT in any way our waitress's fault, and I also apologized to the waitress for the inconvenience. Our own waitress, rather than a hot food runner, brought us our food. I'd ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. She sat it down in front of me and said, "That chicken looked too dark to me so a few minutes ago I asked the chef to make another one, just in case. It's up to you if you want the dark one or the new one." I opted for the new one and it was delicious. We decided to try the southwestern macaroni and cheese (a new menu item) as well. Just a warning: its so creamy that it was almost gag-inducing. The actual flavor was good, but there was far too much cream. It was nearly inedible. So unless you're a huge fan of super creamy mac-and-cheese, I'd avoid this one. The worst part, however, was my son's pizza. He loves pizza and, after one bit, refused to eat his mini-pizza. He said it didn't taste good. When we went to pack up the uneaten food to take home, my wife discovered that the super-thick kids pizza my son had wasn't cooked all the way through! It was nothing but uncooked dough on the inside. No wonder he didn't like it! I had originally given this Chili's two stars instead of one because of the exemplary service but upon checking my receipt, I discovered that they went ahead and charged us for that appetizer anyway! First: I worked at a Chili's in college, and the fact that I come back time and again throughout 15 years is testament to what I think: it's a great chain restaurant with consistently high-quality Tex-Mex. HOWEVER, today I went with my mom and best friend and had a very different experience. My friend and I both ordered the bottomless soup/salad. TWENTY MINUTES later our salad arrived, followed by ANOTHER TWENTY MINUTES for the soup. The Chili's chicken enchilada soup might be one of my top 10 favorites of any soups anywhere; today, though, it tasted like the cooks had added too much water, and the cheese was missing, and the taste was off. A manager visited our table but offered no comps (we're talking about a $6.99 entree here). He apologized about the soup and eventually the waitress brought out a "new batch", which frankly tasted like the earlier version with a full shaker of salt thrown in and slightly hotter. I love me some Chili's, but will not be returning to this one. Which is unfortunate, being that Chili's doesn't exist where I live (NYC) and this one is the only option in my hometown. I do not know whether people were propping both doors open continuously -- but if management wants to keep people coming back, they need to solve this. It did not affect only a couple of tables -- it probably affected 2/3 of the tables in the bar plus the people seated at the bar.
