Another great experience at Chili's in Manhattan Beach. Service is always amazing. Everyone is friendly, personable and courteous. We especially love this location for the service. Food is generous. I got shrimp and steak fajitas this time. Though I would have preferred the steak more tender, the flavor and freshness was definitely there. Ambiance is always fun and inviting.

My go-to Chili's! As a Chili's lover who's visited plenty of locations, I can confidently say this one never disappoints. I love the plaza this location is in, and the service and food is always good here. Our server this time particularly was SO awesome, he was so kind, helpful, and had amazing service. I wish I remembered his name to shout him out but I don't remember unfortunately. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the kids chicken pasta with fries, and it was so tasty and very filling, great price for portion. And as always, I got the free chips and salsa for having Chili's awards, along with my favorite Mango lemonade. Had such a great experience here, I highly recommend!

Social media influenced me to finally try Chili's! I was initially going to order the Triple Dipper order but I was craving ribs. I ordered ribs with fries and jalapeño sausage with ranch. My meal was delicious, especially the sausage which is slightly spicy. The ribs were easy to eat, smoky yet sweet. I heard the Chili's ranch is top notch but I think it tasted average with a watery texture. The Mac & Cheese was gooey, warm, and delightful. Im not sure what cheese they use but it had a deeper flavor--probably aged cheddar. My mother ordered the Triple Fajitas which included steak, chicken, and shrimp. The side dishes (rice and beans) were forgettable but the main dish was delicious. I would re-order both plates of food. The restaurant itself was clean. Our waitress was polite, but not very present. We went around lunchtime on a Saturday so it was pretty busy. Would definitely return.

When I tell you we've been to plenty of Chili's restaurants and was disappointed every time. We saw this particular one passing by so we decided to try it. Walked in and the staff made is feel welcomed. Our waiter came shortly (Alijah) and took our order. It was busy but everyone looked comfortable and enjoying themselves. Alijah suggested some drinks and my wife was not disappointed. Food came and it was nice and hot. Got to meet the manager Mr. Vasquez and he was nice. The ambiance was very family oriented so we was comfortable. Prices are always affordable here. This is the best Chili's resteraunt that we have ever been to and we will

Stopped here to get a bite to eat while waiting for our car to be serviced down the street. First our server AD was friendly and attentive to our needs. I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas which was seasoned very well and just right on tenderness. My hubby got a burger which was good as well. The only issue we had was our booth seats were very uncomfortable and worn. They could use an upgrade or remodel the place seems a little dated.

After a long drive, we were hungry, as we hadn't stopped to eat on the way. Anyway, when we arrived, it was just after 10PM on a Friday night. Though the area was bustling, we were able to find easy street parking less than a block away. The restaurant was busy, but there were plenty of open tables. The place had a bit of the old diner type of vibe, but it was definitely more upscale and modern. We were greeted and seated right away. As we sat down, I saw some of the food being brought out and everything looked great. The menu was quite vast, so it took some time to decide. We decided to start out with the California Tots. They were a huge plate of crispy tots with cheese sauce, bacon and lots of other toppings. It was probably enough for us to share for dinner. However, I then had my mind set on the Tuna Manhattan, which was sort of a fancy tuna melt. The offered a regular tuna melt (off menu) if I preferred. The Tuna Manhattan was served on a bun with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a huge slice of avocado. It came with a side salad, fries, or soup. They also offered me some other sides I could substitute as well, such as onion rings or sweet potato fries. When I asked about the soup selection, they gave me four I could choose from. I ordered the French Onion. Anyway, the portions were generous and everything was delicious. It was also a great value for the amount and quality of food. The Kettle is open 24 hours. If you ever want late night (or anytime) eats in Manhattan Beach, I highly recommend The Kettle for a good solid meal.

Lastly we shared the tacos (1 cod 1 shrimp), tasty fat tacos. Accompanied with fresh chips and the guac and salsa that was tasty. What really set it for us, was while we were wrapping up the meal. Came through for happy hour with me, the Mrs., and two friends and we basically made it our mission…read moreto run the entire happy hour menu top to bottom... and I'm telling you right now: it didn't miss once. Every round that hit the table was a "pass it around, everybody try this" moment. The kind of happy hour where you're not just snacking -- you're accidentally having a full-on dinner because you can't stop ordering "one more thing." Food: Legit. Everything we tried was solid, but the wings were the standout for me -- the kind you keep reaching for even when you tell yourself you're good. Great flavor, cooked right, and they held their own against any wing spot that claims they're "known for wings." Whatever they're doing back there, keep doing that. Service / experience: This is where they really won. Trent was our guy tonight and I can't say enough about him. Manager supreme is the right title -- he wasn't just checking boxes, he was running the whole experience. He served, suggested, kept the pacing perfect, and made it feel effortless while still being locked in the entire time. You can tell when someone actually cares that your night is going well, and Trent is that dude. Major asset to this business and the kind of manager that turns first-time visits into "we're coming back next week." Atmosphere was exactly what you want for Manhattan Beach happy hour: lively, comfortable, easy to settle in, and perfect for a group. We came to try the menu and ended up staying for the vibe. Only complaint -- and it's not even on them, it's on the "beach cities trying to save the world one soggy sip at a time" vibe -- the paper straws. I swear those things last 11 minutes before they turn into a wet napkin. Let me live, Rockerfellas Bottom line: If you want a happy hour that actually delivers, Rockerfellas is it. Bring friends, come hungry, and if you get Trent taking care of you? You're in elite hands. We'll be back.

If I can tack on a 1/2 star or 1/2 point above, I would. And the only reason WHY I am not giving a…read morefull 5-star rating is because of The Rockefeller's cockamamie rule of "yes, we're dog friendly" but "you can't have your dog or your party block the sidewalk" and "we're not allowed to have the chairs out to here (indicating a particular distance on the sidewalk)", etcetera, etcetera. GIve me a break. JUST SAY that The Rockefeller isn't dog-friendly and be done with it, ok? By the way, this incident WAS on Mother's Day 2026, so the staff was particularly overwhelmed. . . so there's that timing. On a previous time my husband and I had brunch here about 4-5 months ago, we DID take our little doggie without any issue. So the staff either has to get their stories straight for next time or just say that The Rockefeller IS dog-friendly, BUT ONLY for a two- or one-person party. Other than that, The Rockefeller's Chilaquiles are phenomenal. It was flavorful and filling. Also, the Bacon & Eggs (two eggs, any style) -- which I had my eggs over-easy -- were outstanding. Bottom-line: Don't bring your dog. It's just too complicated for The Rockefeller to handle. Leave your dog at home.

It used to be my favorite restaurant in the world for several reasons: casual with a LOCAL vibe, new and exciting menu every time we came in, delicious food experiences as they were making such amazing dishes. With the remodel, all ties to its past (the post office) have been removed. Now it is just a fancy Marie Calendars with no personality. For the first time ever, last night for Father's Day, I didn't see a single main dish item that interested me. We had all appetizers and salads. For some reason even the bacon biscuits underwhelmed. The flavor just wasn't as savory as I remember. The tomato salad had very sad tomatoes. The risotto lobster dish did not seem to have any risotto in it; it was all corn. The Muscles were good and the green beans were good. I also like the shrimp on toast, as strange as that sounded. I enjoyed the strawberry dessert as well. Thankfully, Justin, our waiter, took great care of us and made up for any disappointment we were experiencing. It seemed to me that this restaurant is now just an afterthought for the busy owners as they manage several venues. It is no longer the standout leader in town it once was.
