We had an excellent experience at this Chili's! We arrived mid afternoon on a weekday, so they were not crowded at all, but a lot of customers started coming in as we were leaving. Our waitress was extremely helpful to me to find the gluten free menu on the electronic menu. I was surprised there were so many options - in the past I don't remember so many. We ordered the three deal and the salad and entree were really perfect. Our Margarita-of-the-Day, the Lemon Drop, was sooo delicious. Let's start with the positives. Our server was great. Attentive, patient, and precise. The restaurant wasn't busy during our weeknight visit. Seemed clean at the areas we used. Food. We did the pick 3. I chose chips salsa, the chicken sandwich w/fries and an Arnold Palmer (half ice tea and lemonade). Chips were typical Chilis. The sandwich came out "looking" like a beauty but the inside told another story. Sad sad thin chicken. This must have been breaded 3 times. Cooked so long it could break a tooth. Husband got a salad and the old timer burger w/fries. We dubbed the e salad cheese with a bit of lettuce. Typical premade bunch. His burger was average. read more

Whoa! Im surprised to be the first review on this Chili's, as they've been here for at least 8 years (October 2012 Blogspot Review). Because I'm hanker'n (sorry, y'all. But, this happens when livin'n in the South) for Steak, and a Baked Tater with Steamed Broccoli, but I didn't feel like drive'n, I used KNG Delivery to pick up my order. Unfortunately, Baked Taters aren't available, until after 5:00PM. And, with the Dinner crowd start'n up, traffic and KNG's workload, I opted for Loaded Mashed Taters (not the same; but sure are mighty taste'n). As expected, upon delivery, I had to nuke (40 seconds on High) the steak and broccoli a bit, as the veggies had cooled substantially. While the Loaded Mashed Potatoes ;-) didn't need nuking, and were very good, I found them a bit creamier than I'd like. But, still, 4 Stars for them. The Steamed Broccoli was actually pretty good. The smallest flowerettes were, as expected, quite limp. But, the larger ones still quite firm. Though, I think they could have been seasoned a bit better. But, I did eat all of my veggies. :-) But, OMG! The Ribeye was seasoned to perfection, and cooked exactly the way I wanted it. And, I enjoyed it with a nice Merlot (though, if my dad were still alive, he'd kick me in the butt for drinking it out of the bottle. Hey! I don't have any wine glasses now days). It's been several months since I've had steak. But, and other than a Fillet Mignon, this was the tenderest (is that even a word?) Ribeye that I've had in more years than I can remember! I'll have to try it again. But, then, with a Baked Tater. I should be doing some shopping tomorrow morning. And, I think Chili's is close to where I'll be. Have not eaten there for over two years until last week. When we went two years ago we sat there for almost an hour waiting for someone to come take our order. We decided it was time to try it again and that hopefully things had improved. They have not! No one came to take our order or give us drinks. We had to run down the young man who seated us and ask him what was going on. It still took a little while for someone to come take our order. When she finally got the food to the table my salmon was burned to a crisp literally. She took it back and came back out with a complete new plate of food. The broccoli was the only thing edible on both plates. The new salmon was much better and cooked well. I'm not sure who the person was that came out to make excuses, but I can only assume she was the manager on Duty, since she didn't introduce herself. She said like we were supposed to know what it meant we did 4K of work tonight. Well first of all I wasn't sure what she meant about 4K until she elaborated that they serve $4000 worth of food and ever how many hours she quoted, like I cared. That didn't mean my food wasn't burnt to crisp and that I didn't sit there for two hours waiting to get it only to have to send it back and wait on some more. by that time we were really ready to go and we couldn't get anybody to come let us pay the bill. We grabbed somebody walking past and she said oh it's on the table you just have to pay with the machine like we were supposed to read minds and know that. we are both senior citizens and not very tech savvy, so she was kind enough to walk us through it. Our waitress finally showed up as we were leaving trying to catch us like we hadn't paid the bill. We told her we had already gotten somebody else to take care of it. Do not go to this place unless all you want to do is belly up to the bar and drink and eat bar food. You might get your food that way because you're in their face, I don't know. This restaurant is located across the street from the Holiday Inn Express in Milledgeville, GA. I had to wait in the outer foyer since the benches were taped off limits due to COVID. Once seated, service was good and I ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta for my meal. The chicken strip were plentiful but on the dry side. The penne pasta lacked flavor and zest since it was suppose to be spicy. My drink was frequently refilled and the server came by often to check up on our progress. I probably wouldn't order this dish again at this Chili's, however the service was good and the restaurant was clean. read more

I'm not sure but it seems like the whole Chili's franchise has really went downhill over the past few years. I remember when this Chili's first opened and everything here was great; but the past couple of times I've been here it has really SUCKED (to put it nicely). Service here is still great and the staff tries their hardest to make sure you are pleased. They are always on their "A" game. If it wasn't for these people I'd probably give this place a 1 star. The food here is just terrible. They have this huge menu full of items that look so delicious in the picture, but it is not what you get when you order it. The past several times I've been here at this location the food at best has been horrible; making me wonder why I didn't just save some money and grab a burger at McD's or the King. My most recent trip here I ordered a bacon cheese burger that I thought would be impossible to screw up, but they did it. What was delivered to me was a small burger (the patty was the size of a fast food burger), the bun on the burger was still cold (almost frozen), and it took well over 30 mins to get this burger. The fries that came with it were ok, but were basically room temp. Next time when I need some late dinner I'll just take my business to one of the many fast food restaurants in town and grab a better meal for less than half the price that Chili's charges. Management here really needs to step up and make sure that the food they are sending out is better than what it is today. read more

We arrived at the holiday in express in Milledgeville tired and hungry. Walked across the street to the Chili's, sat at the bar. I enjoyed a delicious vodka martini, and my husband had his usual Bud. The bartender's name was Rachel, and she was very good and personable. A lovely woman. I ordered the 11 ounce sirloin which was done medium rare to perfection, and came with the absolute most delicious fully loaded mashed potatoes I've ever had. They had bacon, sour cream, cheese, scallions, and caramelized onions. The broccoli was tender crisp and yummy. My husband had their turkey club sandwich and it was very good. My expectations for Chili's are pretty low. I mean, very low. Just cook the meat properly and safely. Have good service and a clean, nice dining room. None of these criteria were met on my visit to this Chili's. My chicken was undercooked. I sent it back and then of course I was brought an overcooked version of the same lousy sandwich. A few wilting lettuce leaves and a drop of watered down ranch dressing. I did not post a picture. But do you really want to look at that? I didn't. Gross. I was hungry so I ate it. Excellent service. My steak quesadilla was crisp like a cracker with solidified cheese (barely any cheese at all). I would rate this meal a 2 and service a 10. Then seeing my menus with food all over it & need to be cleaned, staff hanging around with their girlfriends. Kitchen floor all slippery with grease. The entire place needs a good cleaning. Need to ask Bartender for water & silverware, she charged me 5.99 for a burger & gave me the sh*ts all night. Note to bartender. When someone sits down give them water. Placed a to-go order at 2:00 PM. Food was suppose to ready at 2:18 and I didn't leave the restaurant until 2:30. Staff was not very well trained on how to ring out order that requires redeeming the free drink offer with the rewards program. Fries were cold and sort of mushy. They put some kind of green, cilantro sauce on my sandwich that isn't even suppose to come on the sandwhich. I went back and checked on the website to make sure it wasn't my mistake, and it wasn't. I added mustard but the only other thing that should of been on it sauce wise was regular mayo. The turkey on the sandwhich had hard, rubbery edges, which was so gross and unappetizing and the tomato slice was mushy and cut from the top, so it had a big, hard brown spot in the center. They should of discarded that slice when they cut the tomato. The restaurant was so dirty and just looked nasty. I had never been the the location, but I was awarded a gift card so I figured I would grab a quick lunch before picking my kids up from school. The only thing I ate was my side of potato soup and I really didn't have an appetite to eat that after seeing the restaurant and the issues with the other food but I was very hungry and needed to hold me over until I could get some proper food from somewhere else. read more

Wow. Came here earlier for drinks and had great service at the bar. As we let the hostess let's us borrow a menu since we would be back at dinner. We came back. Hostess greeted us with a smile she took the trash I found in the parking lot and thanked me . The alternate waitress sat ya in the bar. After 10 minutes we added for a server. The server was waiting on the table behind us and never said a word. When the server told her to serve us she gave a great kid sigh turned around and grabbed silver ware off the bar. She dropped it on the table stated she was our server and asked if we wanted a drink. Really? We ordered water she came back and asked if we are ready order. We did and off she went. We were the only customers in the bar. We never saw her Agustin until after our dinner was served. I orders a quesadilla salad. Good thing I had my greens earlier no salad with the chicken. The quesadilla wax not even 4 inches with no cheese. Terrible service and food was not worth mentioning. Wish we had eaten earlier with the better service. read more

Very disappointed in how the Manager handled my dining experience. My son and I had lunch there and paid $26.00 for two entrees. I explained to my waiter that my rice and my son's corn was not edible at all. The waiter went to the manager and the manager came to our table. I explained our issue and told him that I visit frequently to this Chili's and have never had anything that was not edible. I told him that he needed to alert his chef because he did not need to send any more rice or corn to any other guests. The manager went to the kitchen and the waiter asked me if the manager was going to take anything off of our bill. I told him that I don't know. He went to the kitchen and spoke with the manager, and the manager told him that he was not taking anything off of our bill. I left feeling as though he did not treat me as a valued customer. Chili's remains one of my favorite local places to eat. Matching very good service with very good food, I'm always satisfied when I'm leaving. Their menu is truly unique with a great blend of flavors not normally found in other places. The staff is always smiling and courteous. I've never gotten a bad meal there. I definitely recommend Milledgeville Chili's for lunch or dinner. read more
