Milledgeville Ga. Ruby Tuesday Upon my arrival at approximately 1:15 PM on Sunday, my initial impression was influenced by the host staff member at the front desk. While she promptly approached, her demeanor lacked the anticipated warmth and welcoming engagement. The greeting felt impersonal, and instructions regarding seating were not clearly articulated, leading to a somewhat uninviting start to the dining experience. It appeared that this individual might benefit from further training in guest relations and front-of-house etiquette, as she seemed somewhat stressed and perhaps unaccustomed to the role of greeting and seating patrons. Proceeding to the self-service station, I observed several areas requiring immediate attention. Approximately six to seven items were either depleted or very low, necessitating replenishment. Accessing items in the back row proved challenging for myself, and notably, an elderly guest in front of me struggled significantly to reach even the third row. This indicates a potential design or operational flaw that could hinder the guest experience, particularly for individuals with varying physical capabilities. Furthermore, the cutlery provided was visibly unpolished and appeared soiled, as was the accompanying napkin, making it unappealing and unusable. The preparation of items on the side bar, specifically the red onions, could be refined. While the produce itself seemed fresh and well-chilled, the inconsistent cutting--ranging from small slivers to large, irregular chunks--detracted from the overall visual appeal and suggested a lack of attention to detail in presentation. This is an easily rectified issue that would enhance the aesthetic quality of the offerings. In contrast, the manager on duty presented an exemplary model of guest service. She was consistently cheerful, readily engaging with guests at the entrance with a warm smile, and proved to be exceptionally friendly upon my departure. Her presence was notable across various operational areas, often emerging from the kitchen, suggesting she might have been assisting with back-of-house duties or covering for potential understaffing. Despite these varied responsibilities, she maintained a polite and friendly disposition towards all guests, though I did not observe her interacting directly with tables for service. A minor point of concern was the cleanliness of the front double doors, which were noticeably covered in fingerprints. This suggested that a thorough cleaning had not been performed recently and impacted the overall first impression of the establishment's upkeep. Regarding the cuisine, I ordered the New Orleans seafood dish, which arrived promptly, hot, and fresh. The zucchini was cooked to perfection and seasoned appropriately. The dish featured a good-sized piece of tilapia, which was well-seasoned. However, it contained only three small shrimp, which were almost "popcorn" shrimp-sized. While the overall presentation was good and the sauce atop the dish was delicious, the shrimp portion seemed disproportionately small compared to the rest of the plate. Horrible service. We said we weren't going back the last 3 times we went b/c we waited forever 2b seated. one time nobody ever came. they were all in the back of the place for over 15 minutes. This time the food was just horrible. I had the grilled salmon bowl; my husband had the ribs which used to be delicious. The waitress was unconcerned, never gave us any refills on our water. She acted like she was OTL for some reason that I could not discern. She did go get the mgr. so my husband could complain about the ribs. he did replace them with some tender ones. My salmon tasted awful. the menu said that it would have garbanzo beans in the salad and it was nothing but arugula and some stirfry mushy lentils and peppers(about a tsp.) that looked like , well I couldn't even tell what it was. The service just gets worse & worse there every time we've been for the last 3 to 5 years ! I'm done w/them now ! that's it. Their food used to be good &their service. The building is almost empty every time we go . we won't be going back. The restaurant is run down. Need lightbulbs in the lamps - can't read the menu sitting in the "unlit" booth. The menus are falling apart. The seats/booths are uncomfortable - seats are torn & not much cushion or spring left. Some Tables are covered with ugly table cloths. The salad bar is not well kept & dressings are not labeled appropriately. The staff does not seem to even want to be there. It takes the bar tender (with no one at the bar) 15 minutes to make a peach tea. I don't know who is responsible for the upkeep in this establishment- but they need to make some changes- act like you care! The food & service is subpar. We likely won't be back anytime soon. Put some love into the appearance & maybe the staff will want to be there & help keep it up & maybe the guests will want to eat there again. read more

When in Milledgeville Ruby Tuesday is my ace in the hole for when I'm short on time and not exploring another "new to me" restaurant. The dining room is quiet and comfortable. There was a short wait to be seated because the host seemed to be wearing many hats and missed the queue building. They have several seasonal entrees and I chose the scallops which were very good, cooked well and a great choice. I think "shrinkflation" has affected the sides. The salad bar was great as always and well restocked, one of the many hats the host wears. It's been a reliable place and will continue to be. read more

It's been a long time since I've ordered anything from Ruby Tuesday's. Now, I hadn't planned on ordering from here, as DoorDash advertised, Ridiculous Burgers. Thinking it was a new place, I went ahead and ordered, The Man I Love Fries Burger. But, after ordering, then searching the address, I discovered that, Ridiculous Burgers, is an alternate name for Ruby Tuesday. While the, Man I love Fries Burger, and Skin-On Fries, were good, the fries were limp. And, the burger not to ordered specs (ordered Medium Well (being a hamburger, I feel the meat has to be cooked more), but got Medium, as still pink inside). And, I didn't select Cheese. Yet, it had cheese). Even after nuking for 20 seconds, it still wasn't hot enough. But, I didn't want to risk ruining it. And, since I was starving, I went ahead and ate it. read more

My wife and I were usually once a week patrons. Covid, etc. changed all that. Went to Milledgeville location for my Brother's birthday on Nov. 6, 2025. Logan (Server) was convivial and professional. This restaurant is way past its prime. It is dirty inside the dining room which makes me think the kitchen is dirty as well. The tables are covered with worn vinyl tablecloths and the seating is dirty. The server's black clothing had food stains that made her look unkept as well. Our food took a very long time, and wasn't brought or mentioned by anyone until I asked the server to check on it. She brought my daughter's meal which she was nearly finished eating before the other meal was brought out. That was actually fine because the food was so bad that neither of us even finished. My recommendation on this restaurant is to avoid it and make a different choice, there are other decent food options in this area. read more

Ordered doordash about 40 minutes before they closed so i knew it probably wasn't going to be A+ quality food but it looks like they scraped what was left and put it in a bowl for me. I ordered the Kabob chicken bowl and what they gave me wouldn't even fill up a toddler. It's advertised as a good sized meal and it was not that (it was also 13$). I also ordered the baked potatoe and everything on it except the potatoe tasted great. The potato itself tasted old and stale so that wasn't great either I also asked for extra bacon and there was maybe 7 pieces total. I called and asked about the portions and the lady who answered the phone said everything was pre-portioned. If this is what they're gonna be serving i'll be surprised if they stay open. read more

The service was soooooo slow!! The salad bar was a MESS!! I never saw anything refilled or cleaned up while we were there. The menus were a sticky mess. It took a long time to get our water and then we had to ask for refills twice. Also had to wait for the check. The spinach and artichoke dip was good. There seem to be plenty of workers as we could hear them laughing in the back. They weren't busy- maybe 3 other tables so im not sure why we were neglected. read more

Sunday after church crowd. Lots of big groups. Absolutely the best service anyone could expect. Two young men, Caleb & Cam, brothers, are exceptional. Never seen waiters hustle like they do. Such a great menu. Something for everyone. Garden salad bar is fresh & so many choices. Treated a GC graduate in the music education master's program for her achievement. RT was her immediate choice. Ruby Tuesday is one of the better options for dining on the north side of Milledgeville; as Milledgeville as a whole doesn't have many options when it comes to dining other than fast food and the very few casual sit down restaurants on the north side. I visited this location of Ruby Tuesday this past weekend for the first time and pleasantly surprised by the great service I received and the quality of the food for price. I walked in and sat at the bar where I was greeted by two very nice bartenders. One of the bartenders took my drink; a Grey Goose with 3 olives, shake it up, you know I like it dirty. She filled the glass to the rim with that sweet sweet vodka, tossed the olives in with a little juice that after the kind of day I had had tasted like sugasweet nectar! After getting my drink order she proceeded to get my meal order and told me that it came with their salad bar. Sometimes the idea of a salad bar scare me, but when I walked over to the salad bar I was pleased that it looked very clean and that it had everything on it to make a great salad. After getting back to the bar with my salad I noticed that the bartender had brought out some garlic cheese biscuits for me. The salad and biscuits were wonderful. Shortly after the steak and potato I ordered arrived. The steak was cooked perfectly, med rare with a cool pink center; just the way I like it. As a lacto-ovo-pescatarian, I'm simply not fond of traditional American-style chow feeds. That being stated, I DO love their peach sangria: which made a lovely alternative to lunch!! I was also impressed they serve brunch til 3pm (maybe that's only on the weekend?) Do NOT eat at this Ruby Tuesday location in Milledgeville, GA! I had my mom order a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup to-go and, after having a few spoonfuls of it, I discovered a roach in the soup. I was naturally disgusted and returned to the restaurant with my mother to get a refund based on principle alone, because frankly the soup was only worth approximately $4.25. I initially spoke with the bartender who took the order and after telling him about the roach and requesting a refund he advised that I would have to speak with the manager Ken Dixon. The manager came out to the bar and began insulting my intelligence by asking "What am I looking at?", knowing full well that the bartender has just disclosed the matter to him. After telling the manager that there was a roach in the soup his rebuttal was "Well we cook our soup to 175 degrees so there couldn't be a roach in it"; as if it's not disgusting to insinuate that the roaches in your restaurant would disintegrate in the soup should they fall in it. I told him that I don't work at the restaurant therefore I don't know how the roach fell in the soup but I want my refund. To make matters worst, instead of manager Dixon immediately refunding me my money, he stated "It looks like it's part of the cracker [that's in the soup]". At that point I was at wit's end because the black body of the roach and its visible legs were clearly not part of the pale saltine cracker; I even made this point known to Dixon. Refusing to have my intelligence further insulted, I told Dixon that I wasn't going to go back and and forth with him about a roach being in the soup. Dixon asked if I wanted anything else and I told him that I only wanted my money back because the restaurant has roaches. Dixon then said "O.K.", emphasis added, and tilted his head to the side as if he was disturbed by my response to all of his condescending remarks. Oh well! Dixon then proceeded to take $4.25 from the register and hand the money to me. My mother told him that she gave to bartender $5.00 when she paid for the order. Dixon's quipped condescendingly "Ma'am the soup costs $4.25. He gave you 75 cents back". She responded by advising that she gave the bartender $5.00 and the bartender chimed in by stating that she did in fact tell him to keep the change of 75 cents. Only after hearing the bartender state that my mom gave him $5.00 did Dixon believe the statement and issue the refund accordingly. This was the worst experience that I've ever had at Ruby Tuesday. I don't plan on patronizing Ruby Tuesday again and I definitely will not be patronizing the location in Milledgeville, GA! If I could rate this review as a 0 I would. I am convinced that the manager Ken Dixon was fully aware of the unsanitary conditions in the restaurant that have given rise to a roach infestation based on the fact that he never denied that there were roaches in the restaurant and he repeatedly tried to dissuade the notion that a clearly visible roach was a roach or a bug at all. Dixon's willful ignorance of the visible roach carcass that sat in my soup did nothing more than characterize him as a insulting, non-responsive, condescending food service's worker with no appreciation for customer service or responsiveness to the food safety violations that this unsanitary Ruby Tuesday created. Do yourself a favor a chose a restaurant that will serve food that is free from insects or be prepared to demand a refund from a manager, Ken Dixon, who will insult your intelligence by refusing to admit obvious roaches in your food! read more
