This location is one of the best run restaurants in Tucson. The efficient service is terrific. I eat there once a week and after ordering the staff brings drinks and appetizers very quickly. The remaining food is delivered shortly after. It seems like different staff is on board to handle each piece (drinks, appetizers, meals), and they deliver with a smile. The Chili's here in OV is one of our "go-to" places. Pretty standard service and food here, although due to this location, it doesn't seem to be as crowded for the most part. We did stop by for a "curbside" order a few weeks ago that took way too long, sat in the pick up spot for almost 45 mins after the order was supposed to be ready. They made it right though with a genuine apology and some Chili's gift cards. They were clearly swamped that night so probably was justified! The food is ok, pretty salty but I think that's the norm for chains. But this location might want to look into a bar manager. We had to sit and wait for drinks, the couple next to us was waiting as well. During our meal we needed refills and we just sat there and watched about 5 young employees all gathered at the corner of the bar just talking away. The couple next to us again needed a box and their check and not a single person noticed. They were too busy talking about what they did last night and how cool my hair is. Ugh pay attention to customers maybe since I think that's your main job description. If you had a bar manager maybe they might attempt to do their job. This chili's used to be one of my favorite places to eat in the area. After what happened to me though I'm not coming back. Was eating a meal with my wife and 2 boys for Father's Day. One of my boys meals was cold so i asked for his food to be remade. Manager named Alex acted very rude to us when I tried to get my son's food remade, rolling his eyes, saying that the food is fine, etc. We waited at the table for the food for 1 hour and it never came. Asked for the manager again, and he said that he wont bring out the food because they were too busy to remake it. Definitely not coming back here again. read more

This placed refused to sit us. They claimed they did not have "enough staff" to accommodate two families. We asked the speak to the "manager" (red head guy with a pony tail) and he was not able to problem solve despite several open tables that were covered in trash. This was all occurring while several employees were standing around. The situation was really sad and it just seemed like poor management of resources. It's hit & miss with this location-some nights everything is perfect and the food is great...other nights like last night the service was more than a little sub-par, in fact, you could easily say it was nonexistent without exaggerating. First time at this location. Patalones and Baby Mama shared the steak and shrimp fajitas. They were great but only two tortillas. The table side guacamole was very good. I work at the holiday inn express, maybe 2,000 feet from door to door. I called and told them I get off at 10(which is when they close) if they'd allow me to come grab food within five minutes. It'd already have been ordered and paid for at this point. They put me on hold and they phone disconnected. So I called back and they told me "I'm sorry but that's just not possible" not possible for one of your staff members to run the food out to me real quick? Or for me to come in and grab it? I'd have even met them at the door. But nope. Not possible. So I'll be eating elsewhere tonight and from now on. And it really sucks for them. One of our all time favorite restaurants has always been Chili's. They have a large menu with just about everything! The appetizers are so good and their burgers are the best!! They even have delicious deserts and $5 monthly margaritas! Last time we went we got chips, salsa and qeuso Although I wouldn't recommend the skillet quest, the white cheddar qeuso looked soooo good! We always get the kiddos Mac and cheese and the blue lagoon drink and they love it! I love getting the mini sliders and my husband usually get the trio appetizer platter. It's a busy place, but we have yet to wait for a table. The staff is always so friendly and great with kiddos. Even when they tend to get a bit rowdy. We love that they have games on the monitors at the table and they are always willing to grab a second one for our second kiddo. read more

First off this is a Chili's....it's a chain restaurant and yes they serve the same food at each one. But this place had super friendly staff and the food was prepared just right. Going with in mind that this is a chain place then you'll be fine. I think the staff and cleanliness was quite good. I went to the restroom and looked around the place. It was pretty clean. My sons really thought the food was good too. I really thought the lunch menu was really well priced as well. I hope they keep up the standards of the staff and cleanliness. read more

Food 4 stars, but service 1 star! While in town for a national mixed doubles tennis tournament, we had a team dinner here. There were 10 of us and we arrived at 6:30pm. It took about 45 minutes for us to get seated, but we were seated at two tables across from each other which were meant for 4 people. We were going to do 5 and 5, but some people wanted to sit with each other, so it was 6 and 4. I was at the 4 table and we were very comfortable. It took about 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge us, then take our drink orders. We didn't see her for another 30 minutes with our drinks. When she brought our drinks, we were more than ready to order. Once we ordered, it took another 35 minutes for our appetizers to come out, then another 10 minutes for our main entrees to arrive. Needless to say, we were very hungry by the time our food arrived. I know the restaurant got slammed with two local youth sports teams just before our group arrived, but the service should be much better at a national chain like Chili's. If you eat dinner here, then be prepared to wait for a table and for your food!!! or just wait in general. read more

This chilli's is one of the best I have ever visited. I travel for work and frequently dine a chilli's for meeting and other business type functions. This location has always gone above and beyond the standard service that usually receive at a chain restaurant. Miranda was our server and wasn't hovering but was attentive to our needs. I spoke to my son this morning as I do every morning because him and his crew are fighting the Bighorn fire. He is a Wildland Firefighter based in Pinetop AZ. Him and some of the crew stopped in for dinner last night after pulling a Long shift on the mountain. They were very dirty, sorry about that, but very hungry and they love them some Chili's. My son told me that you paid for their entire meal. From the bottom of my heart.....thank you! My son is a rookie that loves his job and the people he has met along the way. My family is very proud of the work that he is doing and we are thankful for the great team he is working with. Stopped at chili's for lunch and we were not disappointed! I've never been to chili's before. But my Mom loves it and she was buying! We started with the chips and salsa. YUM !! The salsa was absolutely delicious! Spicy and very flavorful, The chips warm and light. My son had the chicken crispers and fries they looked good and he said they tasted great! I had the mango chicken on their light fare section it was served with rice and broccoli another hit ! But the winner of the day had to be My step dads fajita beautiful presentation served sizzling hot and smelled delicious! He said it tasted as good as it looked. My mom just had an appetizer wings and they were very tasty as well she filled up on the chips and salsa!! Service was great and the restaurant including the rest rooms were clean! The first couple of times we ate here the food and service were great. Today we waited 50 minutes after we ordered before we got our food (2 salads and one quesadilla). When we got our food the chicken on my salad was cold and the quesadilla was so cold that the cheese was solid instead of melted. I'm not sure how you can mess up a salad and a quesadilla, but they managed to do it. The waiter never checked on us either. We won't be returning. read more

After a long day of moving about 8:30 my wife and I went to Chili's to relax and have a good meal. We walked in and were seated promptly and as the we were being seated the host said to scan a bar code on a plastic hand out for the menu. I ask for a paper menu. (which I have done in the past) I don't not have my phone set up for scanning bar codes. Anyway we sat in our both for about 15 minutes waiting for a server and when he showed up he asked about our drink order and then asked our we ready to order. We said no, can we have a paper menu? The waiter said you have to scan the bar code. I said my is not set to scan anything. We don't do paper menus anymore and our printer is not working anyway to print a menu the waiter exclaimed. Waiter said "it's easy", scan it and it goes right to Safari" . In my head I'm thinking I have an Android and use Chrome and besides We came to eat , relax and not get a course in operating procedures for my phone in front of other diners . We left and went to In-n-Out. I hope that Chili's corporate will consider both forms of menus for ordering. We like Chili's always have hence two stars and not one. read more

This location used to have good, efficient service. In 2017 it tanked fast. The service is super slow. Drinks sit empty. When orders are taken they will eventually arrive. The Ziosk doesn't work for checking out. It's been an instant transformation to awful. The servers are the same gals, but what happened to make this place take a downhill turn? read more

First with bringing the kids at our table adult cups and when I asked for a kids cups the waiter brought lids for the cups they already had. I had to ask the hostess and she brought me a real kids cup. Then our waiter was very unorganized when taking our orders. Both the waiter and the other helper were rude when setting the drinks and food down by reaching across everyone at the table. I simply asked the waiter to bring me napkins and it took 5 minutes to bring me napkins and he only brought 4. My grandfather's food did not come out until we had all finished eating and no one enjoyed there meal. Everything tasted super processed and unpleasant. We have eaten at this location numerous times. This last time (yesterday), however, was entirely different. The problem: SERVICE - or a lack thereof. In a word: HORRIBLE The manager did not manage his restaurant well. Guests waited long periods to place orders, to get served, to get the bill, etc... He appeared to be far over his head and couldn't manage his lackluster staff. He resorted to giving away food to many people to assuage their angst. I have eaten, at this restaurant, four times. Food has been consistently good. Service both friendly and efficient. Their current promotion, 2 for 20 is a good case in point. You can get one appetizer and two entrees for $20. As an appetizer we had fried cheese. In the past we've had fried onions, salsa with chips etc. I then had Chicken Fajitas (very good) my wife had ribs - OK (Possibly we should have selected a spicer sauce). For Desert we had the Molten Chocolate Cake ( topped with vanilla ice cream under a hard chocolate shell.). They have a full bar and take out service as well. read more

The important thing is that this restaurant is Very close to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel, so it's very convenient for travelers staying at this hotel. Completely unfortunate. Our family of four (two children in tow) walked in 2 hours before close. A server approached us and greeted us, expressing what a terrible night it was. We asked if we could be seated in the dining room, where a handful of tables were actively eating. He told us that the bar was the only option, as they had closed the dining room seconds ago. We were hesitant due to the loud inebriated cursing folks in the bar. That's fine, for a bar. But with small children we were coming to the restaurant, not the bar. We ordered drinks and after the 3rd screamed "f bomb" we asked to pay for the drinks and find another place to eat. Sometimes I wonder if those who have stake in this place know about the sub-par level of service provided or if they know that those working are fine with letting sales walk out the door rather than allow a family to sit in the dining room vs in the bar area. read more
