I've come in here 3 times now and will continue to come back. The food is absolutely delicious and there's a good selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The main thing is that they separate themselves on the menu by doing interesting thing with their burgers (like they do a version of the Juicy Lucy, even though they can't legally call it that) and other twists on typical bar items. TVs, pool table, foosball table, what else do you need? Typically pretty good music too. I'm so glad this space finally reopened after Pastiche. And the fact that it's actually a good place is a big bonus. Prices are reasonable for what you get. We stopped in to The District Bites N Brew last Friday night and were thoroughly impressed. We were served by Brandy at the bar and she is definitely a skilled bartender and able to handle a busy bar! I started with the Purple Haze for my first cocktail and it was delicious. Brandy made a drink for my husband that had spiced rum, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and I don't know what else but he really appreciated her coming up with something tasty for him since there weren't any rum drinks on the cocktail menu. He liked it so much that he had a second one. My second was a traditional tequila sour with egg white and it was made really well. I'm so happy Brandy made our experience at The District so great. Food consisted of appetizers: lemon pepper wings, chicharrones and an order of Keg-a-Taters (massive homemade tater tots stuffed with cheese, bacon and chive - so good!) We were very impressed with the food, especially those lemon pepper wings. They tasted like REAL fresh lemon juice and cracked pepper were on them. Excellent flavor. Because we are gluttons, we finished up with an order of churros and an apple crisp. Do NOT skip dessert, especially thoe churros! They were hot, meaty and delicious. *Old Pueblo egg rolls--just slightly zippy and yummy. *Reuben sandwich with homemade chips--real corned beef inside, although it was definitely my least favorite item we ordered. Great food. We had the Vegetarian Burger which they rather unappetizingly call "A Fungus Among Us". It was quite good for a non-meat burger. The chips served with it were quite good and it's nice to find a place in Tucson doing house chips. The side salad is generous enough to almost be an entree and the house citrus dressing was wonderful. The thin cut fries were great too. Although a fresh made version on par with the chips would be a nicer complement to the meal. Dessert options while sparse were fantastic. We had the Mini Caramel Churros with Vanilla Bourbon Gelato. They were simply fantastic. The gelato was delicious and the caramel bourbon drizzle perfect! All in all a great meal with great service. I came here with a meet up group a bit ago and had a great time! We were there for the all day Monday happy hour, and found that when I got there around 6:30 PM, I was the only table present. My party came and gradually and grew to around 20 or so people. The servers were very kind and patient , and the food came timely as well. I really like their menu. There were so many things I wanted to try, but I ended up getting wings. I've got the lemon pepper and Jamaican. They were cool. The stand out for me here was the service and the options. Came in on a Tuesday night and didn't know it was trivia night. We were asked if we had a reservation and we didn't, but they were accommodating and got us a table. The food was very good. The wings are always delicious. The portobello fries were our favorite. The texture of a perfectly fried batter and a softer mushroom was perfect. Rarely am I blown away on a first visit to a restaurant. That was not the case on our first visit to The District. It was fantastic on every level. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, seated immediately and ordered drinks. It's Monday so it's Margarita Monday of course! I got a prickly pear marg and my partner got a beer, ordered an appetizer and the drinks were served promptly. Marg was great! Got hog fries as an appetizer, and they were delicious. Fries were perfectly done and the pork belly was amazing. I ordered the Patty Flat and he got the Teriyaki Tower with chicken. Mine was amazing but his was RIDICULOUS. It was so good! Ok - onto the food: Starters: Fried pickle spears (crispy perfection) + house-made chicharrones drizzled with hot honey and dusted with cajun spice (hello crunch!) Mains: the Mac Daddy Spin Burger + creamy cheese dipping sauce, the Prickly Pear BBQ Chicken Flatbread on a killer Cauliflower crust, and The Patty Flat flatbread --all were a flavor explosion Dessert line-up: Apple Crisp, Mini Caramel Filled Churros, PB&J Press, and Vanilla Bourbon Gelato (yes, we tried them ALL and regret NOTHING because #nodessertleftbehind) Special shoutout to our amazing server Maddi for being an absolute gem--attentive, friendly, and full of good vibes! I take frequent trips to Tucson and I have to say this was by far the best dinner experience I've had so far. I was greater the moment I walked in and was seated at the bar pretty much instantly. I came in around 5 and expected the place to be a lot more busy than it was but it had a great atmosphere and really laid back. I also have to give major props to the bartender she was fantastic, I'm horrible with names and I don't remember it but we had a nice chat about things to do around Tucson and different areas around California. All in all I would definitely recommend people to come and try this place out from the service alone BUT I also have to give praise to the food. I love a good burger but I'm not a Mac n cheese fan at all. But I stepped outside my normal box today and tried the Mac Daddy Spin burger and legit told my wife that it was the best burger I've ever had. The service was terrible! I went with 3 friends. While we were seated promptly, they ran out of menus (even though the restaurant was half empty) and we had to share. The wait staff was very unorganized and it took about 45 minutes from the time we sat down to place our orders for food. We all had beers and half of them were flat! They brought us new ones which weren't as bad as the first ones but still not great. And then they charged us for both. The flatbread was great as an appetizer. The truffle fries were also good. I did not like the fungus burger. It was a smash burger but lacked flavor. And for dessert we shared the apple crisp which was a letdown, tasting like a store bought croissant with some sweet apple compote. We held my 12-person birthday party here a couple weeks ago. They were attentive and the server was on top of everything even managing separate checks for the various groups. Drinks are solid - I had a couple of the District margaritas and I liked them. Everyone else seemed pleased too. Food is pub-style+. The "spin burgers" are burgers plus something "unusual". My 11-yo nephew had the Mac and cheese one. It looked good but also like a heart attack for my 50th celebration. Overall we were pleased with the food. They have a deep fryer and are not afraid to use it. Onion petals, fries, tots, chips, you name it we got it somehow. The song bingo was silly but we played anyway. I'd probably avoid that night again myself. Interior and decor are fine for a pub if a bit cavernous with all the concrete. Please get some baffling. I have been wanting to check out this newer place near work for a while and finally made it in- I'm so happy I did! The District has immediately made its way onto my favourites list. We got the pretzel bites as an app and I got The Fix, which was very Baileys forward (which I loved), and for my main I got the Mushroom Swiss Spin Burger, which came with au jus. I have never encountered this type of burger before and was very impressed! It was very good and very fun to try something a little bit new. I also got the caesar salad instead of fries but their french fries that my mom got were amazing. Their cheese sauce that comes with the pretzel bites was also a standout. The owner and our waiter, Alexis, were both super nice and helpful with recommendations and information, and just very friendly in general. I also want to add that our food came out SUPER fast and was very hot, so it's definitely a great spot if you want something fresh from the kitchen. We've eaten at the District two times in the past couple of weeks and both were amazing! Both times, the owner Tracy came over and chatted with us. We eat out a few times a week and that doesn't happen as often as you would think. Our favorite so far is the Chile Verde Spin Burger which comes with melted cheese for dipping. The Keg-A-Taters are large stuffed tots that have dethroned the restaurant that previously held the title of "Best Tots Ever". I love fried pickles but we rarely order because it's usually just too much - so I love that you can order just one fried pickle to satisfy the craving. We've also had the Mac Daddy Spin Burger (also with melted cheese dipping sauce) and the Cowboy wrap, both very good. This will definitely be a repeat restaurant for us! read more

We got our drinks amd never say her again. I asked if I could borrow a pen it never came. She spent the whole time we were there involved with 2 guys at the bat. Just had an incredible lunch here with friends. My husband got the mushroom and Swiss spinburger and I got the colossal shrimp appetizer with a side house salad with grilled chicken. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm so glad we came here because the food was SO good. I should have taken a picture of the salad before I cut it all up, but it wasn't until I started eating it that I realized how delicious it was and decided to do a review. Last Saturday my friend and I decided to finally try The District Bites and Brews--and I'm glad we did! It's centrally located and easy to get to, though parking can be a little tight, so keep that in mind. But honestly, don't let that deter you--it's worth it. We went a little after lunch (around 2 pm), so it wasn't very busy, but the staff mentioned it gets pretty packed at night--especially on Thursdays for trivia. Definitely noted for next time! The menu is broken down into appetizers, a few salads, flatbreads, burgers, and desserts. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they do weekend happy hour--a dollar off beer, wine, and appetizers. Yes, please! My friend ordered a mojito that was super refreshing, and I went with a glass of their house Cabernet Sauvignon. It was actually really good, especially considering I wasn't familiar with the brand. We started with appetizers--the fried pickles for me, pork potstickers for my friend. Both were great! The remoulade that came with the pickles was chef's kiss, and there were plenty to share. The tempura batter made them light and crispy, but fair warning--they come out hot, so give them a minute to cool. Service was prompt and friendly throughout our visit. For mains, we split the Caprese flatbread. It's more of a pita-style flatbread cut into six pieces, but the pesto aioli totally made it. It could've used a touch more balsamic glaze to really bring it all together, but still solid. My friend got the colossal shrimp and gave them two thumbs up, and we also split the onion petals with garlic aioli--super tasty. We tried to sample as much as possible in one sitting and weren't disappointed. The staff also recommended several of their burgers, which sound worth coming back for--especially during trivia night. Excellent because instead of interrupting one's thoughts or conversation, server just passed by to eye table to see if he could notice anything missing & to give guests chance to ask. Refreshing that he came by only once to ask about how everything is or if we needed anything. So annoying when server comes by & interrupts numerous times to ask " how's everything tasting?" I always want to answer, " if it's not good, I'll let you know." Walking by quietly is so much more pleasant because then the walking by makes it possible to signal the server to come over and tell him/her if something is wrong or if something is missing without the constant interruption to one's conversation that occurs with the server repeatedly asking .
