If I could give it a 0 star I would. We came in and it was not very busy at all. Got seated right away. Waited a good 10 minutes before anybody came to our table to take our orders. Then after ordering our drinks and food it took another good 10 minutes to just get our drinks. Once we finally got our food it was like half cooked and very disappointing! Went in yesterday to grab a few drinks with my friend and boyfriend. Our blonde hostess "greeted" us by saying: Before I seat you, we have no ribs or fried food. Our fryer is broken. This will not be a repeat stop in our future. I'm not a great cook, but on my average day I can turn out better food than this. The salsa was so watery it ran off the chip the second it surfaced. Our waitress brought us a different salsa that was a little chunkier but tasted like tomato soup. My chicken was dry and had no flavor despite the fact that is was coated in seasonings of some sort. My beans tasted like any $0.79 can of beans I've ever bought from any grocery store, and the street corn was okay but completely slathered in butter, and whatever seasonings they added didn't justify the extra $1.00 charge to sub it in. The cheesecake didn't taste like cheese cake, and I'm sorry to say I've had store brand frozen cheesecake that tasted better. The only redeeming thing was that our waitress was friendly and did a good job, but despite there being a ton of servers, and them not even being half full, our waitress was serving a lot of other tables. We decided to try Chili's tonight, despite it usually being a disappointment.when we walked in, we immediately noticed a large amount of water and ice (like someone dropped a cup of ice water there). When we went in, we immediately told the hostess about it and her response was "I know". Then, after we were seated, we also told our waiter since the hostess did nothing. The people across from me ordered burgers and they were so bad I could hear them complain as their food was sent back. The assistant manager came over to their booth and crouched down to talk to them for a good 10 minutes. Service was a little slow even though there weren't a lot of patrons. We got our food and it looked good. My fajitas were good, nice and hot. My wife ordered a ribeye steak. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best. The steak was medium well not medium rare as requested. She said the steak was tasteless. My mother-in-law got the sirloin it was cooked the way she likes. She said it was okay. Her mashed potatoes were lukewarm as well. When the waitress finally stopped to ask how our dinners were, my wife told her she wasn't liking her dinner. The waitress asked if she would like something else but she was so disappointed she didn't want anything else. The waitress said she would have the manager take the meal off of the bill. They really need to get their act together. If you call for pick up, it's so long you don't feel like eating after the wait. This Chili's has gained a few stars in the last few years, I believe a change in management is the reason. I must be a glutton for punishment, I went back again and again - from the time they opened (there wasn't much to pick from out here) I had 5 bad experiences in a row, each one worse that the last. I can't help it, it was the kid's first choice for Birthday dinner out, and I am a sucker for a baby pool size margarita. I won't smear this review with past events, only sum that up with the fact that I had never directed a criticism to any corporate office before, but after horrible visit #5 I broke my silence. They did send me a free dinner voucher to return - which I did not use. I was not looking for a free meal, and did not want to alienate myself at the establishment to make them feel like they had to perform above and beyond the call of duty. After a brief hiatus, I did happen to see an ad that they were looking to hire a general manager. So, we decided to try again. We have since been back a few times without incident, and gotten To Go as well. The food is still HOT when you get it, it arrives ON TIME, and the margaritas are still great. Just remember to get everyone's re-fill drink order at one time, we still had a missed water or soda refill, but that was due in part to the kids ordering willy nilly. We ate at this Chili's yesterday for lunch. It was the worst experience we have ever had at Chili's. We were seated in a timely manner. Our drinks were ordered and provided in a timely manner, but that's were the timely manner stops. We were at chili's for over an hour and a half. We placed our orders, but it took 40 minutes for the food to come out. When our food came out, mine was so hot I couldn't eat it for a few minutes. My husband's food was only lukewarm. I had to ask for refills, which last time I checked is not the way it's supposed to be. We were without drinks for over 20 minutes. The waitress never gave us any updates until I got angry and said something. I also had to ask for napkins. Seriously!? There was a very large party next to us, but that should not matter. If there is an issue with having too many tables then someone else should have taken over. We go to this location because we have liked it better then some other locations. Let me start out that Chili's is not one of my favorite chains but there is not much out here. When I first moved to the area, I would order to-go meals from Chili's every so often. EVERY single order was incorrect. I ordered a to-go order a few weeks ago and it was the first time everything was RIGHT! Eating in the restaurant is hit or miss. When I went to eat with my sister, she asked for ranch dressing to come out with her meal, it didn't. She asked the passing female manager to get her ranch. The manager rolled her eyes, sighed quietly, and NEVER brought it out. We could see her messing around in the kitchen with co-workers. The restaurant was very busy and the servers seemed overwhelmed. Our lunch took an hour to come out so I don't understand why she was not helping expedite the food. I guess fooling around in the kitchen with male employees was more important. I wrote a letter to corporate about the incident and never received an apology. read more
