Tuna club with fries.

This place is right off of I-95 at Aberdeen Maryland. I wasn't expecting a lot but was pleasantly surprised. Really good fries and our sandwich and fried fish was really good.

Grumpy's is a local favorite that is friendly for out of towners. Their food was so good I went back 2 nights in a row during a business trip. It has a relaxed vibe with a family sports bar feel, highly recommend as a n Aberdeen staple.

Not fancy, just good food. Lots of crab options, which are my favorite. Good crab dip, heavy on the cream cheese, but great flavor.

Service was good. Crab cake was decent, fries were very bland and the mashed potatoes were terrible ! The texture was like rubber.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

The salad bar is classic: Caesar salad, iceberg, blue cheese, bacon bits, etc. Meet family here for a fancy night out, and it was a blast. Service was good. Portions are generous, so be prepared for leftovers. We had steak and eggs for breakfast the next day. Big steaks, big baked potatoes, unlimited salad. Come hungry. Good to know: It is a splurge. Also, they won't stay you until the entire party is there. We waited at the bar for everyone to arrive, where one cocktail was more than enough for me. You definitely get your money's worth, and you should not drive afterward. (I did not.)

Great old-school bar, Great music every day!…read more We are always happy when we can catch a band at Cats Eye Pub in Fells Point Baltimore. Lots of rock and some americana. We were even happier to catch a blues band the other day! (Jun 2026). Charlie Owen & Pocket Change gave a great performance, with some well-known songs and a number of good more-obscure ones. It's fun when they feature one or another band member for a riff. We also love the divey character of the bar, while the crowd is more hip than divey. It's dark and gets crowded. The stools at the bar and by the windows always fill up. The ones along the wall come and go. The dance floor is usually packed. There's a room in back with a few tables, too, and you can hear the band from there, too. The bar has a full selection. They have around two dozen beers on tap, mostly crafts, some standards. Morgan pulled us a Snowball Sour draft from Dundalk's Key Brewing. It was smooth and creamy, only lightly sour, a fairly mild flavor, but well-balanced and pleasant. Steven served us a Banhez Mezcal, nicely flavored, rather mild in that trend to over-refine the bite out of agave spirits. He brought out a tequila that he likes, though i dont recall the name, also smooth and not bitey. We ended with a pure shot of Absolut Peppar, normally an ingredient to add some spice to bloody marys. On its own, there really is no spice, just the dark and slightly bitter bite of jalapeño and black pepper. We love Cat's Eye Pub! It's one of very few spots for blues in Baltimore.

Yesterday, my friend and I took a bike ride around town, and then stopped in for an appetizer and a beverage. It was about 2:30 on the afternoon on a Friday, yet there was a nice gathering of folks enjoying themselves. We were promptly served, and left alone while we browsed the menu. My friend ordered the blackened ahi tuna starter, which she proclaimed bright with flavor and prepared exactly as requested (extra rare). I chose the cream of crab soup, which might be the best I've ever eaten, full of huge lumps of crab meat, delicately flavored with Old Bay, but not too salty. I would've preferred it a tad thinner, but it was not too thick to enjoy. Since I love meatballs, I also ordered the Margherita meatballs, and they were delicious! Three medium sized meatballs, tasting like your Italian Nonna made them, with a rich Sunday sauce and a sprinkling of parmesan. Yum yum yum. My friend and I also decided to splurge on a plate of onion rings, neither of us having had them for a long while. They came out overdone (or left under a lamp too long) and were burned around the edges. One bite and yuck. No worries, our bartender said she'd get them to make us another plate. The second plate came out looking perfectly, and we enjoyed a few, however, they were rather bland and lacked some flavor. Nonetheless, our experience was delightful and our dissatisfaction with the onion rings was not enough to take off a star from my rating. Havre de Grace is a charming small town at the base of the Susquehanna River where it meets the Chesapeake Bay. Come visit, browse the cute shops, and stop in Coakley's for some delicious food, expert cocktails and local energy.

Snatcher's is great. I mean, man what a name. Sitting outside gives you not only creek visibility,…read morebut also creek sounds. Yes, you get the sounds of a forest stream in the background, which - let's face it - we all find oh so soothing. It's up there with sitting by the window on a lazy summer afternoon with rain lightly pattering outside. That patter, you know the one. The food is, well, it's creek food. Food that you could envision eating by a creek. That means fried haddock, black and bleu bacon cheese burgers, and the driest looking cheese steak I've ever laid eyes on. Oh, and patty melts. If you can look past the mosquitos, which I suppose you could say is part of the charm, then Snatcher's Creekside is a perfect catch. As an added bonus to everything you've just read, I have just three words: off street parking. This is actually huge since the further you go north on Main Street, the parking gets scarce and private lots charge a buttload. Also, how can you not like their motto? "Hey, we're Snatcher's. Come 'n git it." How I adore small town charm. Ok, that's not really their motto, but I swear I saw it on a t-shirt when I was down there.
