Terrible service. The last time we came here our server was rude. We sat at the bar because we feel there is better service there. This was very untrue. He made several rude comments and had a bad attitude. He obviously does not like interacting with the public. This time, my friend and I came back for a triple dipper, and we were praying it wasn't going to be him. Unfortunately, it was. He rushes you to decide what you want to get and once you get your food, he rushes you to leave. A friend and I decided to take our kids to Chili's because they kept talking about their mozzarella sticks (fried mozzarella) I guess they saw the viral cheese pulls online and wanted to try them for themselves. My friend and I also noticed Chili's was offering their Wicked Margaritas in pink or green, which sounded fun. I haven't been to Chili's since college, so over 25 years. We ordered the mozzarella sticks (fried mozzarella) which were good, but they were more like mozzarella bars than actual sticks. The kids didn't mind and really enjoyed them. My friend and I ordered the Wicked Margaritas--she tried the green (Elphaba) and I went with the pink (Glenda). The pink one was sweeter, but both were big and definitely fun because the movie is out. The only downside was that they were out of the themed stir sticks. They advertised a Glenda wand and a witch hat, so it was a little disappointing not to get those. The kids got the cheeseburger sliders from the kids' menu, and I ordered the shrimp fajitas. I haven't been to Chilis in forever! The restaurant has a nice updated but laid back feel. I had seen many social media posts about their viral mozzarella sticks. My son and I love mozzarella sticks. We decided to stop in on Thanksgiving eve with some friends. We started with some chips and salsa, then the mozzarella sticks. I would actually call them mozzarella steaks because they are shaped like a rectangle, large and gooey. The kids enjoyed the long cheese pull. Another reason we came was for their "Wicked"cocktails. The drinks online looked so cute with the Glinda wand and Elphaba broom but unfortunately they were all out of them. The wand and broom made the drink so fun. We still had fun with our cocktails. The green and pink drinks were margaritas, a little too sweet. I preferred the green over the pink. For food, I ended up ordering their triple dipper appetizer. I went with the nashville hot mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings and their chipotle crispy tenders. Lots of fried food but that's what I came for, haha! The mozzarella sticks were my favorite. We've gone to Chili's for over 30 years and the service, food, drinks and prices have dramatically changed for the worse the last few years. Our last visit this past weekend was so disappointing we'll never return. Meals are way overpriced for very average food. Portions have been noticeably downsized all the way around. Sides of cheese and pico were tablespoon size! We asked for more and were told a tiny container of cheese would be $1. Drinks are laughably pricey. We could have gone to a chef-run trendy restaurant for the same price. Downsizing while overpricing food and drinks is a cheesy move to stay in business. read more

We were seated right away and our server, Oliver, was on point the whole time we were there. He made sure everything was okay even when the place was busy on a Wednesday night. What a disaster. Food: Made the mistake of ordering mixed fajitas. Chicken was ok, shrimp were minuscule, but ok. Steak was not edible at all: Overcooked and extremely low quality. The rest of the food we ordered was a mixed bag, but no one said their order was "good". Asked for a side of ranch and told that it was 50 cents, ok I guess. Chips and salsa: chips excellent, salsa was basically water. We asked if there was a "fresher" salsa that was actually salsa and not a red watery mess. Told no, its all like that.. Service: Since I left ALL of my nasty steak on the plate, you'd think the waiter would ask if there was a problem. Nope. I can't say the service was bad, it just wasn't good: just enough. The staff disappoints every time i visit this location. I try not to frequent this particular Chilis because they always hire the most incompetent waiters. My last visit had some lazy, unpleasant kid as a host. He was slouching on the podium, had an "Emo" personality and didn't greet us. He handed us our menus and didn't even walk us to our booths. One star because I had no choice. Where do I start? A year or so ago this Chilis was great. Since then Management changed and so did the standard of service. Tonight was by far the worst experience I have EVER had at a Chilis. EVER. Did I say WORST EVER? Yes, I did. My mom wanted a quick burger before she had to get to the airport to pick up my dad. Chilis, yea, that sounds good yea? NOPE, we were WRONG. It's around 730 or so, We order 2 burgers and 2 enchilada soups. After about 15 minutes the manager comes out and tells us they have to make a new batch of soup, 5 minutes tops. By the time we ordered it was about 8pm. We said ok. The soups took much longer than 5 min. It was about 10 perhaps a little longer. Yes, I'm aware 5 minutes is an eternity when you are waiting for food that should have came out within 3 minutes the first time. I WAS looking at the time. During that entire time the circus of a kitchen put our burgers under the heat lamps! So our burgers came out w the old buns stuck to the cheese! Yep, they just replaced the buns! They left the Soggy warm lettuce and tomatoes and dried up cheese and corn that looked dehydrated. YUM! The manager, not sure exactly what he was managing, came to the table and bought us some chips and salsa to hold us over after the soup fiasco. Well after the burger fiasco he bought our meal. The kicker here, he left the old burgers on the table so when the new ones came out he didn't even have anywhere to put them! The server didn't even come to check on us after the first garbage burgers or the second and the manager didn't check on us after the replacements were served so it's pointless to even say those were barely edible as well. Folks, I never leave a burger on my plate. When I say this was bad, I MEAN BAD! LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON who's BAD? CHILIS PV LOCATION IS BAD!! People, this location is an absolute joke of a restaurant. Management is AWFUL. Maybe corporate should call the TV show BAR RESCUE, this place would take 2 seasons to fix! To the REGIONAL AND DISTRICT MANGERS... THIS LOCATION IS A JOKE. This is The absolute WORST management team EVER. Seriously, make your way to the 7th st and Bell location or even the Peoria location. Those 2 are great! Management and staff! I've eaten at a lot of chilies over the course of time and today I decided to get a to go order with the Chili's in paradise Valley. Worst service I've ever had! I ordered my food to go through their online app and when I arrived they couldn't find my order. There was a half slab order waiting there when I came in the bartender asked me if that was my order I said no, I ordered a burger and a appetizer. She left, came back a little later said your order will be right up. Five minutes later she talked to someone in the back comes back up and asked me if I'm sure the half slab is not my order. Mind you, she read the name on the order when I got there and I told her that wasn't me. She leaves talks to somebody else , about three minutes later a lady comes over with receipts in her hand and asked me what I ordered. I told her she left saying she couldn't find it. After waiting around for a while I got a half assed apology in which she walked away immediately. The restaurant wasn't busy, hell it was mostly empty so that was definitely not an excuse. Food was good. The ambiance was neutral. The reason for this review is the service. When we arrived, we did not realize Chili's had small one-on-one tables across from each other, so we did not request specific seating. When we asked our server (Ryan or Zach, I do not remember the exact name) if we could switch tables, he told us we could move to any clean table and he would accommodate us. I appreciated the flexibility. The issue started because he did not specify which table. We saw one clean table and another still being bused. After we moved, we were told we chose the wrong table. At that point the situation became unnecessarily complicated. There was clear miscommunication because the host staff looked confused and treated us like we were in the wrong place, which was uncomfortable. It was also the only clean table available while the smaller one was still being prepared. Once the smaller table was ready, another group was directed toward our booth, which created more confusion. We ended up switching tables with them, which was not a problem by itself. The problem was how disorganized and unprofessional the situation became. The most concerning part happened after. Our server began telling nearby tables how "stressful" the table situation was and made unprofessional comments about the situation within earshot of us. He later tried to recover my mood with good service, but the experience was already affected after hearing our situation discussed with other guests. This situation could have been avoided with clear communication and professionalism. Unfortunately, the service alone was enough to negatively affect the dining experience. read more

I popped in here for a solo working lunch while out and about in hopes of getting my fav buffalo chicken salad (a staple of my college diet). Sadly, it was off of the menu!
