Boy, this restaurant has really gone downhill fast. We stood at the front door for 7 minutes before someone showed up to seat us. (Seems oddly precise - but I had looked at my watch when we walked in because I got a phone call). We were seated next to the kitchen - asked if we could sit farther away, but they said that was the only section open. We heard all the server conversation behind the wall while we waited. Didn't like the service when my mom and I came in. It was very slow and i had to get up and ask the hostess to get a server for us. And pretty sure it doesnt take a hour and half to make 2 cheeseburgers. It takes a good 10-11ish mins to make one! And server took forever to refill our drinks. He told us he will be back too fill up but the time he came we already paid and he had a attitude with me and i did not like that at all. Poor service! read more

Food was good, service was great. Music was far too loud for the 6:00 p.m. evening rush. I would give them 4 or 5 stars, but there was one issue that bothered me more than it probably should have, and it will keep me from returning to this location. My bill included a $1.99 charge for my son playing games on the touch-screen device (you know...the ones that are free in every other restaurant that uses them like Applebee's and Red Robin?). The problems with that are: 1. He didn't actually play a game on the device, although he was pressing the screen to see what games they had available. 2. There is a little notice on the back of the machine that tells us games are $1.99. It looks to have been made in-house with a normal label-maker. The problem is the devices are set up in the middle of the table with the back of the device facing the wall. There is room for the label below the screen on the front of the device, but someone decided the back of the device was an appropriate location for the label. If you ignore customer service and honesty, this is brilliant. As most parents put their kids on the inside seats, the parent will likely never see the label, and most won't notice the extra two bucks on their bill. Although the server immediately removed the charge from the bill, it's disappointing to see a national restaurant chain resort to deceptive tactics to get a couple extra dollars from its customers. I certainly didn't like feeling as if the restaurant was trying to pickpocket me for $1.99 when I was already spending $50 before tip on my meal. I won't be returning, and unless they want to lose more customers over this, they need to remove the touch-screens or at the very least add safeguards to make sure people know what they're getting into before they use a (free everywhere else) tabletop device. read more

Absolutely amazing! Food and desserts are perfect! The only critique I have is for the bathrooms to get cleaned because they were pretty nasty. The restaurant itself is not big enough, nor are most tables. But, the food matters most and the cheesecake is WONDERFUL! read more

I used to go to Chilis a lot growing up and this was nothing like the experience I remember. My boyfriend and I had a server who I knew personally and I know she's a smart girl. You'd think for someone as smart as she is she would give us the correct change back. We saw our server a total of 3 times, to get drinks, to take order, and to correct our change. She was very slow and did not even check on us. The food was absolutely nothing like i remember and I was very disappointed. Stopped by this location on Saturday and was summarily ignored. Others who came in after us and were friendly with the hostess were seated while we were forgotten. It wasn't busy (7pm on a Saturday and that's not a good sign), and after 20 minutes we left. We got better service at the Red Robin down the street from Mid Rivers Mall than here. This is not the first time we've had poor service at this location, but it was a reminder of why we don't eat at this one anymore. Nothing has changed. read more

Absolutely horrible salad. Got curbside dinner and will never do again. The crispy chicken for my tiny salad was not even Luke warm. The salad was incredible small for the money. So we used to go here alot and get burgers simple easy till this last time. We ordered a app which seemed to take forever and my friend got her standard well done old timer. I went with a chilli cheese burger med rare. My burger was over cooked and burnt. My friend burger was way under done. When we brought this to our waitress she just brought my friend a new burger but after 20 mins who really wants to eat then. She took mine back and apologized but that was it. I am not looking for free food by any means but two burgers and slow apps come on man should be easy. But when they screwed up i expect something free desert free burger maybe. This was not the fault of our waitress at all... The place does not deserve even 1 star. I ordered the pick 2 bbq. Got chicken breast and ribs. The chicken breast was raw inside! I went to cut it open and pink water came out. The meat was completely pink! Our waitress took it back after I showed her and another waitress. The other waitress said "yup, every time. Every. Time." The horrible manager came out and defended the chicken! She said it was a very large piece and that was the issue.. No. If anything it was a bit smaller than a normal bone in breast. They offered me a new piece and I declined and requested the crisps instead. On to the ribs... They were rancid. Seriously tasted like spoiled meat! The manager again defended the bad food. When my boyfriend told her the ribs were bad and not fresh, she said "well they're made fresh daily". We walked out. I wasn't eating anything from this horrible place. They should be shut down. We will not be going back no matter what. Too risky. Especially with management acting that way. She was a very short blonde with glasses. Completely unprofessional and unapologetic. The food came out in less than 7 minutes.. We both ordered full bbq meals. The corn on the cobb even tasted like it had been sitting for hours. We go to chili's because we like the food and the Midrivers mall location is very close to home... But we will not be back. There is NEVER a table available in the restaurant area even though because of our experience at this location we always request to not be seated in the bar area because the service on that side is always horrendous and always the same server/bartender.I'd like to say its not the servers fault considering she is singlehandedly bartending and serving but in our experience her customer service is no better even when we've been the only table seated in her area! This evening my mother ordered the unlimited chips and salsa...salad and soup... Fairly simple you would think....except the soup came first....15 min later the chips and salsa...and 15 min later her salad....not sure that order makes sense but the server initially took her soup bowl with out saying a word or asking if she wanted more...someone else finally brought the chips and salsa and asked if we needed anything else...not sure why she asked because when my mom asked for more soup her reply was to tell our server ...and.we wouldn't be able to get her attention if we were on fire. At one point a woman who appeared to be in management... Not really sure was seated in the booth behind talking so loud to the staff that we Couldn't even hear ourselves talk. We tried to have dinner at the St. Peter's location tonight, the wait to be seated was not too bad but the waitress never stopped at our table to take our order once we were seated, we finally asked the person who seated us if there was anyone assigned to our table, he went in search of but it seemed there was a lot of confusion as to who should be for that table, we left and went to O'Charleys down the road and had a wonderful meal there. read more

On top of that, I clicked around on the "ziosk" thing because I didn't know what it was and it charged me an extra 2 dollars for an "entertainment fee". Great lunch spot in the area. The 2 for $22 is a great option with some healthier items on the menu. Disappointed the Mango Chile Tilapia is no longer offered. This WAS one of our regular chain restaurants that we visited often. However after last night we will not be back for a while or never. The host was great and got us to our table quickly with no waiting. We sat at our table for about 10 -15 minutes without anyone stopped by say hi, drop silverware off or take our drink orders. I went to talk with the host asking him to send our waiter to the table. We waited for another 5 minutes or so with no luck. There were several employees walked by our table including the manager but no eye contacted. We decided to leave. By the way it was after 8pm so it was not a busy crowd and they have enough staff. I asked to speak to the manager in charge. Told him about my experience and he was clueless about the lack of service. Total disappointment! read more

She then walked away and got us a paper receipt. I like Chili's I have been to the one in California also. Party of two got a table right away. On comming in I noticed the strong smell of corn tortilla's being fried. Seemed a little strong. Had sweet potato fries and Ancho Chili Mayo for dipping. They were ok. Ordered a plate of Big Mouth hamburger sliders with fries and onion rings on top. The sliders were ok. The fries and onion rings smelled and tasted like corn tortilla's fried. The smell of fried corn was a little strong. I think that were going to have to change the cooking oil. Right now would be a good time. Waitress was right there with a drink when I needed one. I would of complained about the corn smell.But right about then two young kids started screaming and I thought that it was a good time to leave. read more

Horrible experience. My granddaughter ordered a steak medium. It came almost raw. After about 10 minutes, the waitress came back to our table. I told her about it & she looked at it and said "Oh, that does look rare". She said she would get a plate & be right back. After another 10 minutes she came back with a plate & told my granddaughter to scrape the steak onto the plate & she would take it back to the kitchen. Well, after another 10 minutes, someone who I assume was the manager brought the newly scorched steak back to the table. It was scorched on the outside & still pink on the inside & too tough to even cut. By then, everyone was finished eating. We didn't get an apology or "let me get you a new steak". Saint Peters is no place for foodies like myself. The only good thing Chili's has on the menu is the southwestern egg rolls. And even that can be done a lot better. I don't see how people can eat at chain restaurants, unless you're on a go, then you have to stop and get fast food. We only came here bc we had to pick up our kids and it was the only place close. Me being a Saint Louisan, would have eaten at a true restaurant in the city if Saint Louis.this place is slow. The food was cold. I'm giving this place 2 stars only bc our server was nice.
