    Nicely presented House Margarita!
    Steven B.

I haven't visited here in almost 9 years! So what changed? Their marketing worked! I've been hearing a lot about their new Smashburger and their "3 for Me" special so off I went to see if it was worth it! Arriving- Easy peasy. It's on the southbound side of US Route 27 with a simple entrance. I'm temporally handicapped with a placard, and I easily found a space close to the entrance. The overall parking lot is typical and fine. Ambience- I walked in and said to myself "Yup, it's a Chili's." It's the same chain look, like all the others. This one looked clean and well maintained. It also looked a little dated and my bartender said he thought it was almost 30 years old. I sat at the bar which seats about 12. Several TVs. Pro Tip- The bar has the usual high chairs but one end of the bar is a couple of feet lower for two seats, so they are available for wheelchair access which is quite rare and I think very cool! Pro Tip- The Wi-Fi is not particularly fast but nice and stable with no password needed. Customer Service- It's been a while since I had a bartender/server this outstanding! I was stunned by his personality and professionalism. He was so awesome he got 10 stars! Food- There was the standard laminated menu, but I was on a mission for the "3 for Me" special. It's one of those deals where you pick three items from 3 lists and is priced at $10.99. I went with Bottomless Chips & Salsa as an appetizer and Smashburger & Fries as an entrée. The deal comes with a fountain drink but for an upcharge I got the Margarita on the rocks. It set me back a total of $15.49 including the upcharge + tax. The Chips & Salsa came out first and I laughed out loud! There was enough to feed an entire table and they were bottomless! They were very thin and fresh out of the fryer. The salsa was thick and mild and tasty. What a deal for a starter! The Smashburger & Fries came next. The fries were piping hot and nicely seasoned. The burger was a very impressive 1/2 pound and perfectly cooked. It has the same veges and cheese plus thousand island dressing as a Big Mac which I believe is intentional. Other than the similar ingredients, this sandwich & fries is so much better than the fast-food version that it's almost embarrassing to compare them. Conclusion- Some of the marketing suggests that with fast-food prices increasing this $10.99 deal is a solid alternative choice and I agree. I'm an older Yelper that's traveled a great deal and over the decades I've been to a lot of Chili's usually because of the location. This Chili's and this "3 for Me" special hit the spot for me! I'll be back.

What has happened to this restaurant? This place has continued to go down hill for a while now. I used to come to this place all the time growing up. One of my first dates with my wife was here. Our waitress was nice and did do her job and this review does not reflect her at all. When I first walked up to the hostess booth there was no one there, waited a few minutes and she finally came was greeted with it's an hour wait, looking around there was at least 5 full tables empty. Told her I'd wait and was sat down in like 15 min. Ordered our food and was missing crispers and ranch when it came. Once items were brought the ranch was just loose and not thick how it used to be. The corn on the cob was just a mush not crisp at all. The strawberry lemonade which used to be my favorite drink period has been lacking for years now. In conclusion I won't be coming back and that makes me sad.

I'm sitting in my car for over an hour after they told me the order would be ready. I just did this a few weeks ago. Maybe I'll lean this time. Never ever do take out at chilis. -- edit. No sides. I had to drive back to get all the sides. This place should not do take out.

butger only cooked on one half

I come to chilis all the time I enjoy it a lot, but lately they have been not doing well at all. I think the service is great! The waiters are always super sweet and helpful. I always get the tripple dipper apetizers and they have always been very good but lately (this week especially) it has been awful. I went twice this week, the first time with my best friend. The sliders I got were literally cooked only on one half, and quite frankly, im not even sure how that happens. I went again last night with my boyfriend, and the food was good however, it gave him bad food poisoning and he was extremely sick all night. Chilis would truly be a great restaurant if they get their kitchen staff and cooks under control.

Scan for the menu I hope it works.

The food here is the best ever. Even when they are busy they are always helping you and making sure you are satisfied. The waiters/waitresses are always nice and you will always get good vibes from them. If your going by this chilis make sure you stop by even for a small snack. P.S Make a reservation before coming.

I have to say, I loved the ambiance of Gavaghans. I am not entirely an Irish pub kind of girl, but…read morewhen you are in Rome you do what the Romans do, right? And in Sebring, that means you walk into the cool Irish pub on the circle and soak it all in. The interior alone makes it worth the visit. Dark wood, warm lighting, that cozy tucked-away pub feel that makes you forget you are in the middle of Florida. It feels transported. It is one of those places in Sebring that you just have to see because it is so unexpectedly cool inside. Service was great. I was there for a quick in and out, so I sat at the bar and kept it simple with a chicken Caesar salad. Nothing fancy. For the price, it was very fair, and the flavor held up. No complaints. It did exactly what it needed to do, which was give me a solid meal in a comfortable setting without overcomplicating things. Now let's talk about Sebring itself. Sebring is one of those towns in the middle of nowhere Florida where you find yourself thinking, "I wonder what it would be like to live here?" while also scratching your head a little. It reminds me of The Villages before The Villages became The Villages. There is a concept there. It is adorable. It is charming. And most of the time, it is very, very quiet. Personally, I would go stir crazy living there full time. But I can absolutely see the appeal. And to be fair, Sebring is not always sleepy. It comes alive during major events like the legendary 12 Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway, which draws racing fans from all over the world. There is also the Sebring Soda Festival, the Highlands County Fair, and various car shows and seasonal events that suddenly flood the town with energy. During those times, I imagine the entire vibe shifts. If I were to come back, it would be for one of those big events or for some serious antique shopping, because that is where this area quietly shines. Gavaghans fits perfectly into that Sebring personality. Cozy. A little unexpected. Solid. Worth stepping into. Even if you are not an Irish pub person, it is one of those spots that makes you think, okay... I get it.

We sat ourselves at a table nearest a window. The place is dimly lit. We placed our order at the bar. We did not wait long for our meal. We each ate half of the salad and took the remaining home. The place was quiet with only one other table seated. We were able to converse with each other in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. It was a most pleasant evening. I recommend Gavaghans and plan to return on a weekend when the place might have a more livelier vibe.

It's a little off the beaten path for me and I'm a lazy ass so it took me until this weekend to get there! Arriving- It's in the clubhouse of the North Golf Course in the Highland's Ridge Community. Follow the signs for that clubhouse or let your GPS do the work. If you are familiar with the area, it was formally The Tavern. Ambience- So this is what a lot of folks would call a Country Club restaurant. As I had patronized the old tenants, I was curious how they were going to transform it into an Irish Pub. The answer is they didn't! It looks nothing like and Irish Pub. It's a large space with lots of natural light and traditional furniture. It has lots of outside seating that's covered with ceiling fans and many seats have a nice view! There is a very small bar that seats about six. In short, it looks like a Country Club restaurant. So much for pub ambience! Customer Service- Awesome, maybe seven stars! I had substantial interactions with the manager, bartender, and a server. All were exceptional. Adult Libations- Definitely not a pub style bar. It's a full bar with just a few taps but nothing special. Food- Like the ambience, it's an American menu with a couple of Irish dishes. There's Bangers & Mash and Shepard's Pie. Other than that, they throw in a couple of Irish terms to deceive you but it's really an American menu. There're enough choices to satisfy most folks. See their website. I ordered Irish Brisket Flatbread- Brisket, bacon, caramelized onions, diced tomatoes, BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese @ $13. It was out in good time and plated very nicely. Plenty of food for the price so good value. The flatbread was nicely crisp. I love caramelized onions and that's the base here. Everything was very fresh. Plenty of brisket. Unfortunately, the onions overpowered the other ingredients, so the flavors were not balanced. It was tasty but needed a little work to be a winner. Conclusion- If you're looking for an Irish Pub, you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for an American menu that has some potential with a great staff and beautiful outside seating, give it a try. As they are new and the staff is awesome combined with the outside seating, I'm going to be a little charitable and say four stars!
