Let's start with some positive, when the order is correct and you are in the restaurant the food is typically enjoyable and good; however, when it is delivered not so much. The other day when my family and I were in the restaurant, there were multiple problems with the order. The first being, my burger had to be sent back since it had mayo on it when I specifically asked for no mayo. The second issue was that my wife ordered the surf and turf, but when they put the order in, they only put the turf part of the other in, so my wife wound up without her shrimp. While this was frustrating, since we weren't charged for the shrimp, it was a minor annoyance. Now today, we decided to have the food delivered to us. When we got the food, there were several errors, once again with my wife's order. She once again ordered the surf and turf and once again the shrimp were not there, and this time we were charged the higher amount since the order was placed correctly. On top of that, she had ordered the garlic buttered mushrooms, but when she tried them, they had no flavor. Finally, at least for my wife's order, she had ordered it well-done and when she started eating it, it was less than well done. There was one other small thing that normally I wouldn't mention but given how bad they messed up my wife's meal, it needs to be added. My daughter's meal was supposed to come with a sprite; however, she did not get any drink at all. read more

It had been about 15 years since I was at this Chili's and recently stopped in for lunch. Frankly, I'm surprised they're still open, as my last visit wasn't very good; in fact, it was the epitome of the "chain casual restaurant" experience. Stopping in this time, on a weekday for lunch I was also surprised to see so many people eating here! Not sure why, guess there's still a strong business for the casual chain eateries. On this visit all the food we ordered was actually quite nice! The menu is fresh and interesting and they are currently refurbishing this restaurant, inside and out. I look forward to coming back after the refurbishment has been completed. I got the Nashville style chicken tenders, which were pretty good. They weren't spicy hot, but they were spicy and slightly too salty for me, but fresh and decent. Their chili was decent too, as I started with a cup of it. Nice spice to it and depth of flavor. We came to dinner tonight as a table of three. Since sitting we have seen more of the surrounding servers than we have our personal server. When she was here she was uncomfortably staring at us while we were trying to eat our meals. Food came nice and hot--ordered Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers w/street corn and fries; Kids chicken pasta with salad (fresh greens;) ; Kids chicken crispers with salad; Kids grilled chicken with broccoli; chicken bacon ranch quesadillas; and Fajitas--all which were more flavorful than previous times ordered. We're 0-2 with this Chili's since moving to Stafford. Not sure what's going on, but they don't seem to have their take-out together. Our first experience in April, my wife had to wait over 2 hours (not exaggerating) for two meals and an appetizer. After checking in through the app and waited in a take-out spot for almost an hour. After another hour of being told it would be ready shortly, waiting on one item, it's being prepared, my wife eventually just asked for a refund. They said a refund would take a few days to process, which was fine. She was also offered what was prepared, which seemed like the food that had been prepared over an hour prior. My wife was also told to expect a call or email for follow-up but never received one. Tuesday, we ordered some chicken crispers and a hamburger. While it didn't take long, they brought out the wrong order which I didn't notice until I got home (10 minutes away). My wife called and the employee who answered didn't seem to know how to handle the issue, so we were transferred to manager John. John offered a refund or to come to pick up the order that had been sitting, my wife expressed frustration over going to have to grab now cold food (10 minutes home + 10 minutes back + 10 minutes home again + 5-10 minute exchange). She opted for me to go back. While they did make the correct order and had me check it before leaving, service wasn't positive during the experience. Overall, while I still enjoy the food, maybe dine in for a better experience? Although hard to imagine dine in being better based on the interactions with those managing the take-out, and the management in general. read more

I stopped in here for lunch about two weeks ago and based on my first experience I came back this evening. The customer service both times have been great. Of course they are understaffed as is most restaurants are at the moment, so they had limited seating. That did not stop the food from coming out super fast both times. Both visits I just got a burger and fries with the three dip trio and it was honestly delicious. Burger was cooked perfectly with a slight crisp on the edges and fries were hot as hell and salted perfectly. The three dip trio was on point as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this location in Stafford. Please be patient with staff as I said before most restaurants ( especially chain restaurants) are understaffed but the service here was great. read more

I went to this Chili's with my sister and her family. We sat in the bar to watch football. Service was really excellent throughout the meal. We started with the cheese fries. These are probably not the healthiest food in the world, but really good. For the main course, I had the chicken fajitas. These were cooked well and I really like the tortillas (although one or two more would have been nice). The beans and rice were also really good. My nephews both ordered steaks and really loved them. My one nephew ordered the chocolate lava cake for the dessert and absolutely loved it. We also ordered the large chocolate cookie to go and that was really good later. read more

Went in for drinks and an appetizer to share, got the nachos with chicken and spent $14 on 12 tortilla chips individually covered with 1 jalapeño, cheese and a little chicken, and came with a small scoop of lettuce, sour cream and pico in the middle of the plate. Calling them nachos is quite a stretch and we thought they brought the wrong app to our table. They only include enough of the toppings in the middle for about 6 of the 12 tortilla chips. This place is... okay. I came here and ordered their special... where you get an appetizer, and a meal. I ordered the ribs with rice.. and got their onion rings and jalapeno's with no jalapeno's. The onion rings were okay. They were real thin. Very oily. It came with a jalapeno sauce. The ribs were one of the worst ribs i've eaten. There was too much sauce on it, and they were tough. Maybe it had been sitting out for hours. I don't know. I did not like their rice either. The spices were all off. It tasted weird. I doubt I will ever come back here. We have been coming here for a while but its service here has gone bad, unfortunately we waited for about 45 minutes until we received our food and our waitress (Kendall) failed to check up on us at all. Once we were done with our food we ordered dessert but mind you that she looked at our finished plates and didn't take them off our table instead she simply gave us our dessert seeing that there was barely any room , we didn't say nothing at first just to see if she was going to come back which she did only about 10minutes later.
