Entering this place is like you have just walked into a local hangout somewhere in Texas. I mean that in the best possible way! I have probably been to a hundred places like this, with similar decor and food options, but this place actually feels authentic. The whole place is totally laid back, the food and prices are good, and my waiter James was super cool. This place knows what it is and does it well without even trying. This isn't the place where Fortune 500 companies make multi billion dollar deals. So if you're looking for that look elsewhere. If you want to eat wings and relax with friends ( possibly make some new ones) in a laid back chill atmosphere, come here. This place has always been one of my favorite places to eat but the food is just not the same. I usually eat there at least once a week but the last 2-3 times I haven't enjoyed eating there and drinking a beer. Service and staff are great. I don't see the same guys who use to cook. I just wish the food wasn't so greasy and not just thrown together. Maybe they have a new cook and they are just trying to get organized. Buffalo chicken sub was a mess. I had to eat it with a fork; quesadilla was cut in four pieces and had hardly anything in the end pieces, definitely no chicken. I wish the french fries and chicken wings were drained a little. They are really good but the fries are definitely limp and need to be mire crispy. Hopefully, things get better once the new coms have a chance to settle in. I have only been in for lunch twice for dine in and ordered to go once. Hands down the best wings I have had in the area. Consistently sizeable, but not too big you don't want hot wings to feel like you're eating whole chicken legs. Or I don't at least. Sauce selection and dry rubs are plentiful. I like them HOT and their hot varieties do not disappoint. Not just hear but flavor too. Not a drinker at the moment but my buddies enjoyed the selection of on tap and bottled beers. Plenty of local and national micro brews to wash down the wings. Several in my party have had the burgers (I only get wings...it IS Stafford WINGS). No complaints on the burgers. Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Got the Korean style wings, which were delicious and they didn't skimp on sauce, which is nice. Very well cooked, crispy, properly prepared wings with just the right amount of heat. Mac n cheese was a bit watery. Service was excellent, although the server was a bit overwhelmed due to working the entire floor alone. Solid beer selection for a wing place. I'm loving the ambiance of a true mom and pop wing shop in Stafford off the 610. The parking lot is pretty is a good size. For a Tuesday night after work drink with some co-workers, is a great stop. Staff is friendly accommodating. The dine in specials are pretty good (see pictures). Nice little shop that serves adult beverages and some great wings. Ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. More like fried pickle spears covered in beer battered, dill seasoning of yummy goodness. Yep, I will be having those again. Sorry, no pictures this time do to the fact that they looked so good. The food I ordered was horrendous. The corn dog bites were WAY overcooked, the funnel fries were hard, the shrimp tasted horrible. I asked for Cajun, and they gave me Cajun with buffalo sauce. The loaded fries were mushy and a little spicy and I love spice. The fried pickles were good and the salad was good though i had to put my salad in the fridge because it got warm from having hot stuff stacked on top of it and under it. The worker barely knew what he was doing and tried making me pay for my meal again, and he even forgot my cup, which isn't the first time that had happened, and it said it was going to take around 45-50 minutes to cook even though it shouldn't have taken that long and when I got their to check if my food was there which it was before the time it said my food had already been done they would have made me have to wait for no reason. And when I went to fill my cup with ice for my drink, the ice machine barely had ice. I only got 3 ice cubes. It stopped working. The place was dirty and had trash everywhere and just overall messy. I stopped in today with my sister because I was having a serious wing craving. We have tried other places in the area that always miss the mark. Upon arrival we were seated and we ordered. We both got the 8 wings and added a side salad. The wings came out hot and fresh and they were fried perfectly. The sauces were tasty, and I am satisfied. The outside did not feel like it was a clean place but when you go inside it's very modern looking. No sign says seat yourself or please wait to be seated. We sat down and didn't feel it was too busy. Our waitress came over and we felt as soon as we said waters we became a lower priority. She brought over water and gave us time to think. She took our orders and they offer samples of sauces. I had the 8wings in Buffalo sauce and 8 in the garlic parmesan. The chicken was good and sauces were a little runny. Wife ordered poutine. Several of us came here on a Saturday for beers and wings at lunch time... Service was very slow and the food was dried, not very fresh and definitely not worth it. They have a nice beer selection and an interesting menu too. We tried their poutine to start and it tasted like it was made with powdered gravy from a pack, no depth of good flavor at all. The fries in it were boring too. The cheese wasn't too bad. The wings were just not good at all... dried, skinny, old and hardly any flavor from the various sauces we tried. We had such a great experience at Stafford Wings! My wife and I moved to VA about 6 years ago and have struggled to find a great wing spot. The server was super nice and brought out drinks as soon as possible. However, our food took about an hour to get. My boneless wing arrived cold, likely because they had to wait on the traditional orders at my table. I don't know why but this drives me insane. It can't be that hard to time the Wing but BWW does the exact same thing. I got bbq and honey bbq. One of them was ok and the other was lackluster. But ultimately edible. And apparently since it's Wednesday, the wings were half priced. So that's something to take into consideration. They also have an endless number of flavors so don't let me get you down on the place simply due to my bad flavor choices. The one point In my visit that I got annoyed was that my server hung out talking to a couple girls for like 20 minutes while we waited for our checks.
