As anyone who regularly sees my reviews, I typically avoid chain restaurants. Chilis used to be the exception since I don't have one nearby and I enjoyed their food. So here goes my most recent visit after a 7+ year gap. While it has been over 7 years since my last visit to a Chilis it is over 10 years since my last visit to this location. Not much has changed in that time. I was alone and quickly greeted. I was offered a spot in the bar area but declined. I sat in the dining room and a waitress quickly appeared. I ordered the chicken crispers with BBQ sauce and fries. My meal came out quickly but the chicken crispers were over fried and dry. Fries were ok. This meal is not worth $17.00. Service was ok. Based on my recent experience I have no urge to return to Chilis anytime in the near future. Always other options! read more

Dined in last night for the first time in a while and it was packed (which was so nice to see bc I feel like nothing is that busy anymore since covid). It was just my husband and I and we were able to snag a seat at the bar after a few minute wait. The var was hustling most of the tables were filled and all the seats at the bar were taken. The bartender, Shay, was fabulous and made our dining out experience one of the best we've had in a long time! She was excellent, not only did she provide efficient service, she was full of personality and truly made the visit enjoyable. The food didn't disappoint either. We had chips and salsa and shared an appetizer trio and a burger all of which hit the spot! And a trip to chilis isn't complete without taking home chips and salsa for later! read more

It's been too long since we've eaten at a Chilis since we don't have one in Monroeville anymore. We visited a Columbus Day Monday. Very busy at that time in the late afternoon "off hours" for a late lunch. EVERYTHING was GREAT! Starting with the cleanliness of the entire restaurant. Our food was cooked perfectly! The steak, shrimp, salmon, broccoli, apps, EVERYTHING! Our server Kelly was phenomenal. Spot on! Our meal was served in a timely manner, drinks, apps, main course was great! I couldn't believe how packed Chili's was on a Saturday night at 5:30pm! By 7pm I'm sure it was over an hour wait. Super packed, super busy, super dirty, and lacking great customer service. I was with my best friend and her 2 year old. I wish there was more of an initiative to turn our table to get the baby home. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal but we had to flag the server down to get a box and the check. I don't even care that the server wasn't majorly attentive on a busy Saturday night, but I do care that after the luck luster service she asked to give her a 5 star rating upon check out without earning it. And the gratuity is pre set to 25%!! Meal was fine but $12 for a margarita was a rip off for sure. read more

Wanted to hop on the trend of the Triple Dipper, and so we headed to our local Chili's to give it a try! Went on a Wednesday night, so the restaurant was not too crowded and we were seated immediately. We sat near the bar, and the server we had was very pleasant and engaging with us. The restaurant atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and updated. The food was all great. We stared with the chips and salsa, which are bottomless. If you have a My Chili's Rewards account, there is a coupon for free chips and salsa you can use every visit. Also had the Texas Cheese Fries, which were great with the ranch. For the main event, we had two Triple Dippers with the Fried Mozzarella, Chicken Crispers, Southwestern Egg Rolls, Nashville Hot Mozz, Hot Honey Chicken Crispers, and the Big Mouth Bites. It was all tasty, and we loved the mozzarella! The whole meal was filling and moderately priced. Overall, this was a great meal and we had plenty left over with some more chips to take home. We went for take out tonight and it was ok. You don't use the main entrance for pick up which was odd. My sauces weren't correct and absolutely not enough for the amount of food and I was really disappointed in the simplicity and size of the salad given it was a $1 upcharge. First off, the service was great -- friendly, quick, and on point without feeling rushed. The restaurant was clean and had a nice, relaxed vibe which definitely made the experience even better. I kept it simple and went with the Triple Dipper. Sometimes you just want the classics, and this hit the spot. Everything came out hot, fresh, and tasted just as good as I remembered. Walked in and an unpleasant odor hits you immediately. We were seated directly under a fan so our server was nice enough to move us. She (blonde) was great the entire time & she is why I gave 2 stars. We ordered the Southwestern egg rolls & it was evident they arrived frozen & the restaurant heated them up .... They weren't horrible but they aren't what they once were. We both ordered fajitas & just gross! Both of our vegetables had a very odd taste and my sister got the steak & shrimp and the shrimp were hard. A $72 lunch with no leftovers (threw all of those fajitas away) is ridiculous money & I will not be back. What happened to you Chili's? read more

Talk about going through the motions... Sat at the bar and it took the bartender 7 minutes to greet me... and by greet me- I mean- moan 'Can I get u started off with something or are ya eating...?" While she washed her hands and never once made eye contact. Ok... maybe it's shift change as a bunch of happy looking servers just arrived. I do have to say- the Coors Light is cold, in a frosted mug the way I love it, and the chips were perfectly fresh & delicious. Maybe the bartender is just overworked... No... she's just unhappy. My experience here was simply fantastic. The ambiance is nice, bright and airy, clean, and quiet enough to have a conversation but not so quiet that you feel the need to whisper. The waitress was great, anticipating soda refill, etc. This time around we tried the QP burger with fries and a side salad. I opted for Swiss cheese but there are options like American and cheddar as well. It was prepared perfectly. The fries were very good as well. A big stand out to me is the side salad. It was a great mix of leafy greens. No iceberg. I opted for the balsamic dressing and used about half on my salad. This was on the 3 for me menu. Very inexpensive. The waitress we had was wonderful and it's a family friendly diner with a touch of Hispanic culture. The restaurant was clean and the staff were all nice. We ordered the chips and trio drip! I love the chips here. They were thin and crispy! We also ordered the sampler appetizer. It came out really quick but the southwest egg rolls were still cold in the middle. We sent them back and then second set came out and it was cold. It seems like they were leaving it on the grill long enough. I believe everything in the appetizer menu is already premade and just needs to be heated up. Definitely a night. Firstly we came in and were told 15 minutes and got sat in 5, which was amazing. An employee walked past us while the hostess was seating us and loudly called the young lady a "Stupid bi**h". That was extremely unprofessional and the young lady seating us looked incredibly uncomfortable and it was not appropriate for my seven year old son to hear. Our waiter, Sean, was very fast and attentive with us, unfortunately our food was wrong but it was quickly fixed, and it was great. It was definitely not a smooth experience but the food was good. I rarely leave a bad review but this place was pretty bad. I came here with my mother for lunch after a fun morning of shopping in the area. As soon as we were seated I could smell a musty stench in the restaurant but tried to make the best of it. The place just felt dirty. Our waitress was just okay, no complaints really about her. I decided to go with chicken enchilada soup and the bacon ranch chicken quesadillas. The soup was gross. It was a very thick consistency, almost paste like, and had a funny taste to it. The tortilla garnish on top of it was very stale, and not crunchy at all. I took maybe two spoons of it and pushed it away quickly. The quesadilla was not much better than the soup. The chicken inside had a weird color to it and seemed like it came from a can. Chips and salsa also came with my meal. The tortilla chips were all broken into small pieces. It literally seemed I was given the leftovers from the bottom of the bag they came from. The salsa was all over the cup they served it to me in, and also very bland. Went to Chilis in West Mifflin for my wife's birthday. We hadn't been to a Chili's in a couple years but we were hoping this visit would be a nice birthday memory. She ordered the original house bbq ribs which she said were tender and delicious along with white cheddar Mac n' Cheese which she devoured. Her French fries were perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned, I had the Fajita trio which was delicious! The steak, shrimp, chicken, peppers and onions were all grilled to perfection and nicely seasoned. From the time we ordered, it took about 15 minutes to get our food and everything was nice and hot. Our server was very polite and checked in on us several times to keep our drinks full and attend to any other needs. This was a great experience. We went for lunch and the people coming in were non stop. We both had a 3 for $10 and it was great. Our waitress Cathy was non stop with our refills and the food was super fast. When the food came out it was really hot too. The fact that they insisted we called to cancel and stand by their waitress' lies means it took 2+ hours since we ordered our food for it to arrive.
