Stopped in to check out the $6 margs of the month, which are Wicked themed (Nov 2025). When we walked in there were 2 other families walking in. They weren't super busy, considering the amount of staff standing around and open tables but it took them awhile to come acknowledge us at the host stand. We ended up going to sit at the bar. The bartender was really nice and attentive she got our order in quick as we already knew what we wanted and she got our drinks made and to us right away. The Witches brew was apple flavored and the Good Witch was maybe raspberry. Both were pretty sweet but I liked them. Good deal for $6. We also got a side a fries as I'm not the biggest of Chili's food. Overall, I like the Marg of the month deal and that is usually what brings me in. read more

What I expected vs what I got. For almost $16 bucks I was expecting more. It tasted great but I won't be ordering it again. The value to dollar ratio didn't work for me. Yes I told the waitress I was expecting something a little bit bigger as other salads I have had there. She didn't really have a response. Have not been to chilis in a while so decided to go to this location. Very convenient spot, right off the highway and the lot it is located had more than ample parking. The host who greeted us was pleasant, we got seated immediately and our server was there instantly also. I was there during the weekend lunch rush. The dining area and tables were clean. The food was great and ample and was brought out in a reasonable timeframe considering that the place was hopping when I was there. Taking a star away as the men's restroom was a little disgusting. I was heading towards the MSP airport and thought about getting lunch before turning in the rental car. I yelped and found this Chili's and am really glad I did as airport restaurants typically are overpriced with mediocre service at best! I have fond memories of eating at the Chili's chain with my family while living in Oklahoma and Texas and have always found something really tasty on their diverse menu. My recent past experience at other Chili's was not as good as what I enjoyed today. This restaurant is clean, fresh and updated. The wait staff acted like they were happy being there! Updated: Stopped in again tonight May 9. I was so disappointed to hear that the manager refused to allow my wife to sub anything at all in as a single side item when we asked to take off the rice, beans, onions, guac, and sour cream from a fajita order. Then, when I got my food, tge fries came out cold. When i told the waitress, she literally put her palm flat on top of the fries to see what temperature they were. I am glad she agreed that they were comd or she might have expected me to eat them after she touched them! The previous visit was awesome and the food on this visit is just as good but the customer service is lacking in the evenings, apparently. Chili's food is reliable, good and flavorful. Their loaded mashed potatoes are wonderful! I rarely order steak anywhere other than a steakhouse but I was in the mood for one. The classic ribeye that I ordered rare came out over. I hate sending food back because you never know what the next one will look like but this was too far over. The replacement was absolute perfection! Rare and delicious, not chewy or cold. Kathy took brought me a to go box for the wrong one and took it off our bill. I don't why I continue to do this, but my wife seems to love Chili's, so she dragged me there again last night for dinner. I ordered the quesadilla explosion salad and my wife ordered a sirloin with a side order of shrimp. Keep in mind, the restaurant is at half-capacity due to Covid, and Chili's must be taking extra precautions because their wait staff is at 10%...there was literally one waitress for the entire dining room. Anyway, 40 minutes after placing our food order, our food finally arrived, and as the waitress was setting my plate down on the table, she said "I hope this is okay, it sat there for quite awhile waiting for the steak to get done; let me know if you want me to bring it back". Again, this was the comment as she set it down. Unfortunately, I decided in the moment to just stick with it because I didn't want to potentially wait another 40 minutes for a replacement. But, I should have sent it back. The quesadillas were hard as crackers at this point (and cold), the grilled chicken was cold, and the spinach and vegetables in the salad were soggy. I decided to eat a few pieces of the grilled chicken, and left the rest because it was disgusting. Unfortunately, 5 oz of grilled chicken doesn't fill me up, so I ended up having to cook dinner when I got home. Ultimately, this is generally the service and food quality I get at Chili's. Yet, I continue to go there with my wife, but I think this is going to be the end of it. I just can't deal with poor service and terrible food any longer. Sorry Chili's; I hope business returns for you when the pandemic ends, but in the meantime, this would be a good time to up your game because every restaurant will be fighting for customers, and you're certainly not doing much to deserve them. read more

Hit or Miss... During Covid 19, It's a complete miss. Don't bother calling.. the phone rings and rings.. no voicemail... no one ever answers. I guess business must be that good that they don't need to answer the phone for takeout. I ordered online. I texted when I arrived. The staff are slow and grumpy. Understandable if they are busy. Food is still decent but they tend to get things wrong. During regular times over the years this place has been a hit or miss. Avoid them during Covid. They are too busy to answer the phones for orders. During regular times the servers were either awesome or missing for 20 minutes at a time. I get the covid seating restrictions. No complaints there. Given the restrictions, I was told seating would be in 20-25 minutes, while waiting in my car. After 30 minutes I was told we're next on the list. Almost there, right? After 30 MORE minutes (that's now an hour waiting in the car) I was told "Our manager said not to seat anyone else and you're better off just going somewhere else". What?? I understand not taking new names, but sending people home who have been waiting for an hour? And what if I hadn't asked about it? Would I still be waiting? So I called to talk to the manager who said not to seat anyone else. "Mike" gave lots of covid-speak, lots of excuses, but not an apology. Had the best experience tonight at Chilis in Woodbury. We had the best server ever, Erin! She was absolutely lovely! Took her time and was patient with us, especially since we can be indecisive. 10/10 experience tonight. My son and I stopped here for lunch. He ordered the Fried Asparagus for an appetizer for us. It was perfectly fried with a wonderful lemon Aioli sauce. I ordered the Smoked Chicken Burrito and my son ordered the Bacon, Avocado Chicken Sammy. My burrito was very tasty and had a perfect amount of rice/chicken. The burrito was rather large and I could not finish it all. The fries were alright. My son's sandwich was good, the Avocado was fresh and creamy and the chicken was not dry. We come to Chili's about once a month, as they always have great food with a nice selection of options to choose from. One of my favorites is the Quesadilla Explosion salad, which is delicious! I e never been able to eat the whole thing, but it's definitely tasty and filling. They also have a great selection of appetizers to choose from as well. I want to give a huge shout out to Chili's in Woodbury by Sam's. I was there Saturday at 2pm with my parents. It was very busy. The main dining was closed . I'm thinking short staffed as there was no hostess. Don't let that deter you! They said they'd seat us as soon as they could! The bar and that seating area was open! Leslie our server was so fantastic! The food was beyond awesome! It was so nice to take my parents out to an eat in restaurant with great food! Please patronize this Chili's! On 8/26/26, I went to Chili's with my daughter to use her free kids meal coupon. We also ordered the 2 for $25. Once we were done eating, I paid for my tab via iPad on the table. Charissa, the server, stated she didn't apply the kids meal coupon and will cancel my order and swipe my card at her register. Charissa's service was awesome! She was kind, fast, and considerate! However, something occurred and Charissa did not cancel my original order and I was charged twice for one meal. Upon realizing this on 8/31/21, I called the Woodbury Chili's and spoke with the manager who requested I come in to figure this out. When I came in on 9/1/21, the manager was rude, condescending and kept making jokes insinuating that I came back into Chili's to have $1 returned to my card. I came back to have $45.00 returned back to my card, a mistake Chili's had made in the first place!!!! Mind you, when I came back I came with a friend and had lunch (giving the Woodbury Chili's more business than I should have!!!!). Last night, my BF, his brother and I had dinner at this Woodbury location. Claire was our super friendly, quirky server who added a bit of entertainment to the evening. They have a 2 for $20 special that the BF and I took advantage of (includes 2 entrees and an app). They say "no substitutions" on the menu, but they were able to meet my request of getting "combo" fajitas instead of just chicken at no additional charge--score! Claire kept our chips and salsa replenished throughout the meal, and even filled a to-go bag with fresh chips and salsa for us to take home! We had a lot of catching up to do, so we hung around for nearly 4 hours! The entire staff was really friendly and totally cool with our extended visit (of course it helped that they weren't very busy). Claire continued to stop by occasionally and provide us with the same great service all night. I love the chips (always warm and super thin) and salsa (a finely chopped puree of spicy goodness). Another favorite of mine are the fajitas. Like other Chili's locations, if you visit on a Monday, you can get them for $9.99 (which can easily be split) or the "fajitas for two" for $12.99 (which is usually enough to feed 3 people!) Chills is not my favorite place in the world, however it's a good meeting place to grab a quick bite. On this particular visit I enjoyed the Crispy Honey-Chipolte Chicken Crispers, Fries, and Corn on the cob. The Crispers were DELICIOUS, loved them sweet and smoky at the same time. The fries were decent, didn't eat a whole lot because I had filled up on the bottomless chips and salsa. (Chips are salty goodness YUM!)
