Asked a girl (maybe Hostess) who wasn't our waitress to send it back and she needed to know who our server was so they could handle it. Server came back asked how everything was so the hostess obviously didn't tell her about the Queso. Told her about the Queso & she took it away and returned with hot or shall I say burnt Queso Dip-I didn't even know that it was possible to burn Queso. My daughter had a corn dogs & pineapple-the pineapple was soggy & gross she wouldn't eat it. My son had Corn Dog & Corn on the cob. The corn was over cooked & not good. My husband and I shared the mini burger bites & some fries-good but nothing spectacular. While we were waiting for our food my 8 yr old started to play the games with the little iPad table ordering thing & when our bill came we were charged $1.99 for table entertainment! It never even prompted us to say this game costs money! Overall wasn't happy about the surprise charge of only $1.99 and that is mainly why I gave only 1 star because there was no disclosure warning etc that you would be charged. read more

Had the Mango Chile Chicken for lunch. Very tasty. It might be a little hot spicy for some but I found it very pleasant. The broccoli was very crispy and had full flavor. The white rice was ok. We were eating out as a group of 16. We tried to get reservations early in the day. Oops! They do not take reservations for the day of your visit. We were advised to call 30 minutes ahead so if there was space they could set up for us. Our table was ready when we got there. Oops! I did not count. As people arrived we found that we had a set up for 14. As the last couple arrived we squished together to all sit together. Good 2 for 1 happy hour. But this did NOT include wine. Good deals on happy hour apps. All were pleased with the food. Chicken fajitas were yummy and generous. EXCEPT the steak fajita diner. The meat was tough and lacking flavor. Chew! Chew! Chew! He left meat on his plate at the end of the meal. Do not order the steak. Soup, sandwiches and other choices were met with approval. We will go again. read more

But, we love it for these reasons: 1) Great happy hour deals on drinks! 2) our three-year old loves the games available at the table, and you really can't beat $2 for unlimited use! 3) there's a decent variety in food. The boneless wings and buffalo chicken sandwich are pretty good. 4) the servers are great! really fast on refills and helpful with everything 5) the price for a kids meal and additional sides is affordable. 6) minimal wait if you get in right before dinner rush. Service was good although server didn't mention her name nor was there a name tag so I can't give a shout out to her. What a joke of a restaurant. Called ahead a party that would be coming in. Said there would be no problem. Got there and they made us wait over an hour to be seated. Then dealing with the brain dead server was a nightmare. Took forever for our drinks to be ordered then another 20 minutes for them to be delivered. Finally got our food after about another hour of waiting. Guess what... yup 85% of it was incorrect. Then we get attitude for the servers mess up. Server blames the kitchen, kitchen blames the server. Either way they take about another 30 min and deliver the food out as if it's tapas style one plate at a time. Leaving the kids for dead last. Ask to speak to the manager. Waste of time. Not even an apology offered. With the number of good restaurants in the area, you'd think this chain would be stepping up their game. Not a chance. I would suggest saving your money and skipping this joint. Think of the worst restaurant you've ever eaten at. Not multiply that by 100. Pretty much what I usually expect from a Chili's, it's not my favorite place to eat- however I had a gift card so we figured we would go for some lunch. Food was OK, nothing good, nothing bad. Service was OK. We enjoy playing trivia while we wait on the tablets (children at heart). Still can't believe how expensive it is to eat at a large chain restaurant. Well, this is Chili's. Adequate food and drinks. Nothing inspiring here but that's not expected. I've always wondered what a chain restaurant could be like with management who inspired more from their staff than simply serving food and drinks. This place does this just as you would expect, nothing more. But then, that's precisely the expectations of a chain restaurant. I've never been a big fan of Chili's, but they deliver to our house! A week or so ago my husband ordered dinner from there. He ordered me a steak (which nobody would expect a good delivered steak from a chain, right?) but let me tell you, our food was here 45 minutes earlier than expected (Door Dash) and my steak was delicious! I was blown away. Perfectly cooked, good cut of meat. I ordered it again last night and the same exact experience! My husband's burger was great too! read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. My girlfriend and I live in Woodbury, and decided to give this chilies a try. Horrible experience to say the least. She ordered fajitas and didn't get the salsa/guacamole that comes with it, so she sat there waiting for at least 15 minutes until she got up and bugged someone in the kitchen for it. After that, we did not see a waiter or waitress the entire time to refill our drinks. We were done and ready to get out of that place, but still no check!? Great location. Staff was super friendly. Got the usual skillet queso, which was great and loaded baked potato soup. The soup was very good, my fiance got the crispy tenders and loved them as well. Food came out very quickly and the new tableside tablets are great for kids, ordering more drinks, paying your bill, and getting appetizers. Just had a visit to Chili's last night. I had the boneless wing special (Buffalo and Hot Pepper) wife had a sirloin. She said the steak was excellent and everything was prepared exactly as she requested (she had some special requests for dietary reasons). The wings were great and way more than I could eat (brought the extras home for my son - and he immediately finished them off!) Only complaint would be the Hot wings weren't really all that hot - but maybe that's just me & my preference. Service was, as usual, excellent. Anna is our "other" waitress of choice. She really works hard to make sure that the order is right, delivered quickly with drink refills appearing almost magically. She's also a great, fun and friendly person to chat with! read more

Service was excellent. It was Friday at 7:15pm when we arrived. I was nervous we would sit for an hour to get our food because it was busy BUT we did not wait at all! Chips and Salsa and spinach queso came super quick and our food came shortly after. To make the experience even better there is a device on each table that you can view your bill and pay with a credit card without having to wait for a server to get a check and pay so you can leave. read more

I decided to try Chili's after it was recommended to me by a friend. I arrived on a Friday night around 7:15pm. The parking lot was packed and people were coming in and out so I figured that was a good sign. When I walked it with my partner we were greeted by the hostess who appeared to be quite young, no big deal. She asked us how many and I said 2. She got two menus and led us to a table, sat us, asked us if we were part of the rewards system, and then told us someone would be with us shortly. Within 3 minutes the hostess came back and asked me my name. She walked back to her stand and then shortly after a different lady came and asked me my name. I was very confused what was going on. Then the lady who had just asked my name came back to the table and stated that they were very busy and had a 30 minute wait list and we couldn't just seat ourselves. I respectfully responded by saying we did not seat ourselves, that we were not told of the wait list. As I was talking the waitress started walking away. I decided that the 30 minute wait list was it worth it after being treated so rudely. As I walked out the door the waitress in a sarcastic tone said "thanks for coming have a great night". I was very disappointed with the way I was treated as a customer and I likely will never go back to this location. read more

I stopped here with my boyfriend on our way out of Minneapolis for a quick bite. I manage at a local brewery & restaurant where I live, easily one of the busiest places in town, and I'm an extremely understanding person when it comes down to busy times/miscommunication but I've never been to a more disorganized place. First, we sat for 15 minutes without being greeted and I had to approach the host to ask for a server. Someone came right away, apologized and was very friendly. Food was...okay. My boyfriend didn't like his food. Our server came and asked how things were before we started eating but after that, no one checked on us. Our drinks sat empty the entire meal. We sat there waiting for plates to be cleared and our check for 15-20 minutes. Multiple servers and what looked like the manager walked by every 30 seconds and actually looked at us without doing anything. A girl did ask if we wanted a box though and after saying no and tried to ask for the check, she just walked away without saying anything. I also noticed how gross it was. The table was sticky from the previous guests and there was hardened ranch on the wall. My boyfriend played some sort of game console at the table and they charged us for it... I was thinking since we waited to be greeted, we'd at least get some sort of compensation. A waste of an hour and half. Neither of us will be going to a chilis again..this just proves why I've never liked chain restaurants. read more

On December 4th, my husband and I were dining in the bar at the Woodbury, MN location. We had great service from Emily as the bartender and great food. We are frequent visitors there, at least once a month. The bill came and I gave my credit card to be run. Within a few minutes, the bill book came back with the receipt to be signed...but no credit card. I called Emily back over and let her know that I did not receive card back. She immediately started looking. At time, bar was not too busy. As other employees came over, including Manager-on-Duty, Ryan, she let them all know what happened and what she was looking for. Ryan helped look a little here and there. I would say we sat there for a good 15-20 minutes as they looked, with no luck. Finally, Ryan came over and took down my name and number and said he would call if they found it later. We left and headed home. About an hour later, I get a call from Ryan stating that they had finally found my credit card. I said we would try and make it all the way back in within the hour. Upon arrival, I asked for Ryan at the front. He simply came up, handed me my card and said "I apologize for this." That was it. I am not a demanding person, but as one that is very aware of how good customer service SHOULD go, I was very disappointed that there was nothing further offered to apologize for their misplacement of my card and for the time this all took out of our night. Simply disappointing and truly makes me not want to visit there anytime soon. read more

Me and my fiancé came in to have dinner there one evening where it was ramping up to being busy. Our waiter arrived and just simply said "Sup?" To us and while it is nice to build rapport with your customers that's not the best way, After we said hello the waiter said "What do you want to drink?" In a tone like we were twisting his arm to do it and after we told him the order he didn't even acknowledge it and just walked away. When he came back with the drinks he dropped them on the table just enough to where they didn't spill and pointed at their new utensil setting and said "there's the straws, do you know what you want??" After we made our decision and ordered my fiancé got a soup that came out in record time and was almost tossed to her as he was walking away then when the food came he set the entree down and took a deep breathe in front of us and said "there's an extra plate need anything else??" When we replied no to him we were stunned at how bad of a server he was and how we should say something to the manager and when it came time to pay and give him a tip it was like a completely different person was walking out of the back because he was asking if we needed a box or refills conveniently around the time of us paying and giving him something for it. We only gave him a 1.00 and I'm surprised it was that. My fiancé is a waitress at another chain restaurant that I won't out that isn't chili's but the service there just showed me I might never go back to that location again if that person is there. read more

This visit was only a 2. Normally it usually would be a 5, but after our fav. Server left, the atmosphere hasn't been the same. Her name was Robin. We did have a nice server today, but not too attentive. The chips you could tell were from the bottom of the barrel, and greasy, and extremely salty. And majority were all crumbs. I early get to use coupons on anything when I get them, because they expire, they only last a couple days,which I understand. But while out and about today, I received an email, for free desert we never get desert, but decided let's treat ourself to lunch and the desert after the sad week we had of losing a family member. We made a special trip here, and she said that it doesn't start to tomorrow, but said she'll ask her manager(which I seen him walk by a few times, and very serious looking,and grumpy.and didn't smile back) she came back and said there isn't anything he can do. Plain and simple, I was like ok. Fine. And then I was waiting for a bag to bag up the chips that was eventually replaced, but none, normally they come out with all that.
