such a run down horrible staff. walked in and waited nearly 10 minutes to be seated. our waitress Angela kept making eye contact with us as we were waiting and then finally came to seat us. took forever to get our drink and food. our cheese fries were nearly burnt. when we finally paid and asked for our dessert to go she said she would be right back with it. then 15 minutes later a whole different waiter stopped and asked if we were doing okay and we explained it to him. he was very nice and explained their freezer was broken so the ice cream for on top of the cookie was melted. and she just never mentioned that and i guess was waiting for us to just leave without it. i will NEVER be back. read more

I went to this Chili's a couple of weeks ago. First: We stood there for over four minutes before anyone came to set us. It was "written off" as being the host's fault who left without telling anyone their shift was over, so no one was performing this task. Second: The food takes an inordinate amount of time to come out to you. Third: The food is acceptable, but nothing to rave about. Last, but CERTAINLY not least: Our server, who was efficient, delightful and helpful, disappeared for a while. A couple of the other servers came to check on us at our table when they had the chance so we weren't exactly neglected. My problem is that our waitress was "talking with the manager" all the time she was missing, and when she came back it was obvious that she had been crying. Unacceptable!!! I hope that she gets a job elsewhere where she will be not be subjected to criticism, especially so severe as to make her cry, while she's working her shift and her customers are wondering where she has gotten off to. Service is extremely slow. Don't go here unless you have a lot of time to waste. Went there today, seated ourselves. One server said she would be right with us. Another person took our drink order. Food is standard Chili's fare, which was what I decided to settle for, but this has got to be the SLOWEST Chili's on planet Earth. I ordered a two for twenty deal, Cajun Chicken Pasta and Honey Chipotle Fingers...nothing complicated. I have been here wagering for my to go order for 45 minutes and counting. I've eaten at this location only twice before, and the first time was two years ago. Because my first two visits were spaced so far apart I thought I was being judgemental but CLEARLY I was on point. As a follow up-wish I'd thought to take a picture-the meal was not enjoyable. It was just the crispers drowned in a thick overly sweetened sauce. I had plain mashed potatoes and broccoli for sides, but I could count the broccoli florets on one hand! It was a disappointing meal and I never plan to eat there again. read more

The only reason we keep going back to this place is bc there's only so many places to eat at in Zachary and this is one of them! The foods not bad...but it's not great, and the service is just okay. Our last visit was a takeout order and upon pick up I was informed that they were out of the lava cake that came w my order so that was basically that ! Oh HECK No! I asked for the manager. After about five min, the young lady comes back stating that they had apparently discovered some and the mgr was preparing it ??? Hummm... This use to be my favorite location but I haven't been in years on account of the horrible service. Tried it again and nothing has changed. Waited an hour just for an appetizer. When the appetizer came out it was burnt and the waiter said that was another one because the first one made she sent it back because it was burnt. It wasn't a lot of people there at all. The desert was burnt twice. I will not come back to this location ever again. Something has to change or shut it down. read more

I was cautious about going back after a horrible experience I had there over a year ago. But in all fairness everything we had was excellent and our server was exceptional. I would definitely try the the cheddar curds and fish tacos. Only down side was the wait for our appetizers took about 30 minutes but that was the only complaint. read more

I see the ad on TV but when I have tried to eat there, when you walk in the door the overwhelming smell of dirty yucky carpet hits you right in the face,and I loose my appetite to eat. If I could give them no stars I would. The whole outing was a mess from beginning to end. I tried as best to maintain my patience. Our waiter was great. He put the orders in correctly and I know this because I watched the screen at the table. The cooks and kitchen staff were playing around, laughing, walking out of the store to go across the street when no one was being served. We made it there about 8:19 p.m. we didn't get all of our food until after we had paid at 10:28 p.m. The manager was so rude. I was explaining to her that my orders weren't right and that we still hadn't gotten all of our food she kept over talking me. I tried to tell her that the rack of ribs that I had order were hard and she deliberately ignored me and walked off. She didn't have the decency to bring me my change after she was the one who took my payment. They were ghetto as hell. You could hear the kitchen staff laughing and playing around from my table. They messed up our order continuously and got mad at our waiter for returning the incorrect food for the correct food. Again, I was looking at the order on the screen at the table so I know for a fact it wasn't our waiter. If it wasn't for our waiter I would have walked out. I also suggested that this waiter quit and that he go to a chilis that appreciates him and does 100 percent better than this place. I will never eat here again! read more

I used to love coming to this Chili's b/c the drinks were on point. Now the margaritas just taste like juice with no alcohol. I would get more of a buzz from a beer. I will either stop coming here now or just not pay for a $10 drink that taste like juice. Also, this is used to be the only Chili's that didn't over cook the Texas Cheese Fries. Went on a Tuesday evening around 7pm with my family. The food was alright, but the service was not. Our first indicator was that the waiter openly admitted that he couldn't tell us all the salad dressing choices. Husband and I ordered the baby back rib special (half rack with fries, house salad and mini molten cake for $10.99 and get additional half rack for $6 more). We explained that we were sharing the meal in several different ways and he seemed to finally understand until our food came out. We ended up getting 1 1/2 racks of ribs, 2 salads, 2 fries and later 2 mini molten cakes and were subsequently charged for both meals accordingly (we did not press the issue when our food was served as we had waited an inordinate amount of time for only having a few tables filled at the time). Our waiter kept forgetting to bring us our drink refills and after he told us to pay on the kiosk since we were paying with the card, we never saw him again and had to ask the hostess for a to go box for my second half rack of ribs. When our molten cakes came out they were only room temp and the fudge in the middle was still solid. In my honest opinion it seems as if our waiter should not have been waiting tables unsupervised yet and needs to either find a new job not waiting tables or to go back to shadowing. read more
