Get the avocado bubble tea!! This was my first time here and the staff was so friendly. With such a variety of flavors to choose from, one of the employees suggested to try the avocado and it was AMAZING and FRESH. Who would have thought to put avocado in tea but it works and is delicious! The tapioca makes the drink, not bitter or texturally off like I once had at the mall, so Chill is up to par in my book. We used to live down the street from this place and would come get smoothies whenever a craving hit. Oh my goodness do I miss it! Good stuff (although I never get the tapioca, which basically makes my drink a smoothie rather than a bubble tea). My only complaint is that they have a rather limited number of flavors for a store that deals almost exclusively in bubble teas. Most bubble tea places I have been to have a larger selection of flavors. Although more fresh fruit flavors would be nice, even more powder flavors would be fine. They carry various hot chocoate selections during the winter months. I have always found the people very nice. I'm a bubble tea purest. I always get some kind of milk tea or thai tea with boba over ice. This place is just blagh. The tea itself was okay - I could tell it was from a powder mix instead of a liquid concentrate. The boba was awful - no flavor at all - if it doesn't have flavor, I don't eat it. The original size was way smaller than average and it was definitely 75% ice in the cup. Also, the place was completely empty on a hot Saturday afternoon, which to me is a red flag. My daughter and I really love their bubble tea but with Covid-19 they seem not to take any health precautions. They let customers without masks come in and stand very close to me and my family, let alone have 10 people in the store at once not 6 feet apart. Their register isn't even closed off with anything and they seem to be taking covid-19 very lightly compared to their neighbors like Panda Express or Chipotle. We visit this place as frequent as we could whenever we're around the area. They've got fun interior, cool people behind the counter, and probably the cleanest and yummiest bubble teas we've had so far! Of course not every order would be given as perfect as how we'd want it to be, there would still be those tiny disappointments about the flavor, consistency etc. Chances for such would be less likely if we would be more detailed about how we want our orders to come out. I truly enjoy coming here. It is a hike for me to drive, but worth it. We are usually there at night, so it is not busy. There is usually only one person behind the counter, but we don't have to wait too long. Nine times out of ten the are super friendly and fun. I am always with my family so it's a large order. Our drinks are always done right and taste yummy. I love the variety! I wish there was one closer to me in Will county. Whenever I am in the general area, I make sure to make a stop at Chill Bubble Tea! (On a side note... the Chill Bubble Tea at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg is a whole other story. I have been coming here multiple time and who ever is in charge of hiring and teaching the new employees. They must not know what they are doing. They either not make the drinks right or they give you a mad dirty look. As if they didn't want to work that day. If you don't want to work. Don't come to work and give the customer a grumpy look. Basically what the rating is says, I've experienced better. I had the french vanilla, it was a bit too slushy, not as smooth as I expected. I'm curious on the fruit smoothy, but that was my only time around there so I gave it a shot. The store front is very clean, really hip furniture, and nice design. The drinks are a little pricey for what you get, but then again your not in Chinatown. They had some interesting other named drinks maybe worth trying the next time I'm ever there. This place is just okay. I've been here twice, the first time was when they had their promotion around their opening day. It wasn't too bad then, but I was pretty sure that they were using frozen fruit. This time, I ordered their special, I think it was called orange starburst...or orange sunburst--it's supposed to be made of orange, strawberry and watermelon. Anyway, the price is decent and the service was pretty good. They also have a stamp card, if you buy 6, you get one free. That's a weird number if you ask me, but I'm not complaining. Well I actually kinda of am, when my boyfriend and I received our drinks (he ordered a strawberry watermelon), and we were highly disappointed. You could definitely tell that the watermelon in both drinks were powder and the taste was so artificial it made the entire drink taste terrible. The tapioca was decent, it was perfectly chewy (it later froze a bit), but it had no sweetness whatsoever. Their decor and store in general I have to commend. I love their nostalgic swing chairs, and because majority of their store is white, it gives off a clean feeling. The thought of only getting "fake flavoring" makes me make the best of both world - Coconut and GreenTea Latte... also Strawberry and Green Tea Latte. The staff is pretty cool. Just like your neighborhood coffeeshop where you can joke around with them as friends, the Chill employees are very friendly and overall fun people. I can easily come here to study, relax, or (sorry for the bad pun) "chill." The prices are a bit on the higher side, but it works for a once-in-a-while treat. Bubbleteas/Hot-teas average between $4-5. Plus, with their "reward card", get a free drink after 7. I'm from the West coast and our drinks are way better than what they serve here. I tried Chill Bubble Tea for the first time ever and I highly disliked their tapioca balls (in Southern Cali we call it "boba"). The tapioca is bland and has no flavor, and does nothing to help the poorly flavored drinks (smoothie/shake/etc.) I ordered the Orange Torpedo and I could only taste the textured powder of the flavors combined. It wasn't appetizing at all. For all you Yelpers out there, come to San Diego, CA and try Lollicup or Tapioca Express! The best variety of these types of drinks you'll ever experience. My friend got a coffee flavored bubble tea and I got green tea flavor. They were extremely tasteless, it almost tasted like water.
