Cute 50's Elvis style diner. Had a ton of soda flavor choices and tasty looking ice cream selection. We ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger Burger, Philly cheese steak sandwich, with chili cheese fries . Food was great! Service was friendly and fast. The only drawback was the parking area isn't friendly for trailers or big rigs. We parked our truck and trailer at the defunct hotel a couple of doors down and walked over. Definitely stopping here again next time we roll through. read more

If you are 60 miles from Rock Springs this is a must stop! It takes you right back to the 50s. The food is right out of an old fashioned diner. The quality is the best. I have been dying for a quality bacon cheeseburger burger w some amazing onion rings and that's what I got. I couldn't even finish it all. The place was so busy but the waitress was attentive. Decent food at decent prices. They have a good variety. I had the salad and that was a bit weak and the dressing wasn't anything great.. but overall, it was satisfying. The rest of our party of 6 seemed to be satisfied. They said it wasn't great but it was good. read more

This place is awesome!!!! We walked in after a long day of driving and probably looked so confused but the waiter sat us right away and was super helpful and gave amazing suggestions. I had the chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries per his suggestion and it was definitely the best chili cheese burger I have ever had. I also got a lime Rickey and the flavor was delicious- better than any root beer float I have ever had. definitely stop by if you are in the area! read more

Service and food were amazing! We had finished a crazy hike and wanted chicken fried steak and with some research found this place. Food was great and quick, husband had catfish. Chill Grill became one of our go to places for lunch in Rock Springs. The people were great and so was the food. Mostly we had sandwiches and burgers, but they had more. My wife fell in love with The Channing sandwich, which is basically a combination grilled cheese and burger. I think my favorite was the Chicken Friend Steak Sandwich. Other dishes we had were Smothered Chicken Dinner, Western Sandwich, Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, Bacon Cheeseburger, Patty Melt, and Cheeseburger. read more

Stopped during a road trip. Took an hour and a half to get two sandwiches, and and a burger. The chicken sandwich was actually brought out first but it was another hour wait for the Reuben and burger! When the food arrived it was just ok, nothing spectacular. My family drove through Rock Springs after 4 hours on the road, and this place was just what we needed! There was something for everybody and an ice cream counter with all of the trimmings. They have a great selection of GF foods that someone like me who can't have gluten usually just goes without. And they were amazing. Chicken strips, catfish and crispy chicken sandwich are all fried in their homemade gluten free batter and my kids who don't usually like my food substitutes loved them. Their GF bun is really good, too, and you can build your own perfectly cooked burger with as many toppings as you want. We'll definitely pass through on our way back home! read more

Great place to stop in for a quick bite if you're passing through town. Decor, music, and menu fun 50's vibe. Staff very nice and attentive. The chicken strips and regular fries weren't great (fries undercooked as stated in older reviews) but no complaints otherwise. Service was quick. After reading all the glowing yelp reviews we were hoping that this place would be great. We were disappointed. We arrived approximately at 2 PM on a Saturday. However, it was memorial day weekend Saturday. The service was incredibly slow. It was very confusing in terms of even ordering food. The food itself was just OK. My wife is a big sauerkraut hotdog fan and she read in one of the reviews that this place had the best sauerkraut hotdog in the states. That was far from the case. Everything was mediocre. The french fries were raw and soggy, hardly cooked. It could be we came here at the wrong time on the wrong day, but Chill did not live up to its previous ratings. read more

The service was AMAZING. You couldn't ask for more attentive service and friendlier people. The burgers are a full half pound and are on delicious buns. Chill Grill team is the most friendly and service oriented people ever. We stopped there for a wonderful meal on our way to Colorado. The waitress was very gracious and accommodating to our dietary needs. Leaving the place, I left my purse hanging on a chair and realized that only after we arrived in Denver. I called the restaurant and they were again incredibly gracious to send the purse via UPS to my home. This was a perfect quick stop off the highway on the way to Jackson. We had very friendly and quick service and it was clean and very cutely decorated. The fries, (and the fry sauce) were amazing and home cooked and the chicken sandwich and burger were excellent and cooked to perfection. read more

Alright Daddy O's and ..... Daddy Ettes? The Chill Grill is the new burger spot in Rock Springs and this 50's themed little diner has a lot to offer. Burger's are hand pressed, half pound monsters. Order all kinds of toppings or visit the burger bar to dress it up the way you love them. Personally I loved the bacon, Swiss, grilled onion combo. The cook grilled the hell out of them just like I love them and did so happily. Not in the mood for a burger? They've got an entire page of specialty dogs topped with just about anything you could possibly want on it. There's also a nice selection of sandwiches from a classic Philly to the Reuben, to the old, reliable BLT, chicken sandwiches and French Dips. And then there's the fries.... Fresh cut and the size of Lincoln Logs. A total meal in and of themselves. Between the burger and fries, you're going to need a sleeping bag to nap it off. Not in the mood for fries? Hand dipped onion rings and tots are available too. Topping off the 50's vibe, they do hand-spun shakes, Malts, and sodas. My first time in WY and we stopped here after reading yelp reviews. They have ALL the diner and ice cream shop favorites but O M G the kraut dog! Its a true old fashioned diner with the kind of quality and cleanliness that deserves to be bragged about. Here's a run down of the meal.... Fried pickles...on point...perfect crisp! Green Chili Hot Dog with Curly Fries...reading the menu I kept smelling chili and I just had to have some myself. On top of an all beef hot dog, it quickly made itself a cozy home in my belly. Ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and then the waitress asks, "Would you like gravy with that? We have brown or white...." What, gravy on a burger? Sign me up. Ended up with a side of brown gravy and lets just say it going to be hard to ever eat another burger without gravy. Sweet girls working the front and serving. Delicious, clean and friendly!! My girlfriend and I stopped here on our cross country roadtrip and it was by far our favorite stop to grab a bite! The waitresses were outrageously kind and very attentive! I got the Cali Chicken Sandwich with onion rings and my girlfriend got a grilled cheese with fries, both of which were delicious and great portion sizes especially for the price! To top it all off we both got Sundays that were to die for! We'd recommend this place to anyone and plan on coming back the next time we're in Wyoming! read more

Everything's gravy!  No really, get the gravy at this little burger and hot dog spot in North Rock Springs.  I never would have expected how good the combination of bacon cheese burger and brown gravy could be but its primo.  A definite must try.  I bet French fries would be great dipped in some gravy too. Let's not forget the onion rings. Can you tell I liked their gravy? Thanks to Katiee for the recommendation. She's now my favorite waitress. Besides the gravy (last time I swear) the hot dogs, and chilli are also really good.  If you don't order the chili yourself and someone next to you does, you will truly regret it.  The place is a product of its excellent service as well.  The staff is very friendly and great with their recommendations. read more

He got mint chip ice cream as well, and I got the most delicious handmade strawberry milkshake! We went at a busy time, and our server seemed a bit stressed. As others have said, the restaurant has a 50's Diner vibe. Food was fine, service was friendly, and prices were reasonable. I ordered a strawberry milkshake which arrived in a tall glass with whipped cream and a cherry on top; beautiful to look at but not enough strawberry flavor. My patty melt was filling, my wife enjoyed her club sandwich and we both enjoyed the "skin-on" French fries, but we were not "blown away" by the food. Your mileage may vary! read more

Very friendly staff, Dakota was very kind, attentive and made a great peanut butter milkshake. I chose to avoid the bun and just tase the burger, topped with grilled peppers and mushrooms. The burgers are 1/2 lbs fresh cooked to order. They have a burger bar for all the fixing. The fries are fresh cut and fried nicely, not hard. They have their own "come back" sauce which is outstanding if you like a thousand island type sauce. Old time soda floats and dozens of stakes. This is one of the best burgers I have had.
