We stayed in town and stopped here dinner. It's a privately owned local diner/steakhouse either friendly staff. Being from WA state we were shocked at the low prices $19.95 for a good quality perfectly cooked 10oz sirloin. The negatives were these: I ordered a gin and tonic and they served me a gin and soda. They were out of all the veg options and offered asparagus as an option, failing to mention it was a $4 up charge. The stalks were woody and dry. I also ordered a baked potato and when they delivered food they brought mashed and told me they were out of baked. The mashed were thick with peels and garlic powder and nasty. (I would have opted for fries had I been given an option.) They made A big deal about their cinnamon rolls so I took one to go. It was $4 and I found it inedible this morning. The icing was sour and runny and the roll itself had no sweetness or sugar in the cinnamon. So - good place to stop? I guess since the other option was Applebees. Just clarify your order and skip the baked goods. Bill for 2 was $75 plus tip. I basically ate 5 oz of my sirloin and left the rest - so not the value even for $20 steak. read more

I really like this place because of the great service but honestly last time we were here it was a lot better, the wrap i had was not folded so basically a tortilla and some stuff, the onion rings were soft, my kid had the kids spaghetti and it was great, my other kid had chicken fingers, they were bland and boring. We waited over an hour for our dinners after ordering. All 3 of us got cold mashed potatoes. Drink prices on menu were 'subject to change' which was marked in a separate area of the menu. Totally surprised when we got our bill & every drink was $3 more. Disappointed. Would not go back. read more

It's so great to have a new local spot to eat at, especially one that serves an incredible breakfast! My husband had a breakfast burrito and LOVED it. I had a more classic breakfast and the pancakes are absolutely insane. So delicious and the price for the food? Can't be beat! We are driving cross country and try and find unique places to eat. In Rock Springs,Wyoming we found a fabulous place to eat both dinner and breakfast. Wild Mustang Restaurant has amazing food both our dinner and breakfast were hot and delicious and the staff, especially Tucker and Morgan, they were friendly and very accommodating! The service was fantastic! Everyone was so friendly. They have a great salad bar. The deep fried monte cristo with homemade raspberry jalapeño jelly was the bomb!! So were the fresh made potato chips. The desserts look amazing, but after sharing the monte cristo with my husband, we were too full for dessert. read more

Overpriced and bland. I paid $28 for a salad, cup of tea, and a French dip sandwich. I had the salad and tea to stay and got the French dip to go. Sandwich was supposed to come with fries but I paid an extra dollar 75 to upgrade to other rings. Got back to the hotel and this is the sandwich, no fries no onion rings. I'm glad it was a French dip sandwich because the top half of the roll was hard. Not just a little hard but Rock hard. The waiter however was very pleasant. Needed a real breakfast rather than the hotel offerings I was staying at. Ordered a simple meal, bacon-crisp, eggs over easy, hash browns,, pancakes, and coffee. What I got, bacon limp and greasy, eggs, over hard, a little clump of hash browns, and two pancakes that fell apart while trying to butter the bottom one while moving the top one! A cup of coffee with enough creamers for one refill, beyond that only flavored creamers. Waitress vanished so I gave up for more creamers. Paid, and left. Back to stale bagels at the hotel, at least it's free! read more

Was hesitant at first, however being tired from the road we stayed. Meal was tasty and quick. Service was friendly and attentive.

We were passing through and wanted something more than fast food. This was a really solid meal. The pot roast and mashed red potatoes were homemade and really hit the spot. The garlic herb chicken with greenbeans and baked potato were tasty as well. Staff was fantastic. Very prompt and friendly. The restaurant had a nice look with a huge salad bar. A few really good things about this restaurant however there are some issues. The things that we really enjoyed included the salad bar and the service was attentive and prompt. I had the New York strip steak, which was a gristly and fatty cut of meat accompanied by only lukewarm side dishes. My daughter had the sirloin steak, which was better, but had the same issues with the sides. This is a nice restaurant where the owners of obviously gone to a lot of trouble to create a nice atmosphere. Overall, dinner was just OK, with a better steak and hot, fresh side dishes it would be much better. read more

Old Village Inn Updated Interior. Our Server seemed to stretched and a bit overwhelmed. The server tried to bring things out together but in the end the kitchen staff was not helping achieve that goal. Our meals were good. Typical breakfast and lunch diner product. This place is a gem. Atmosphere was unique, inviting and immaculately clean. Service was prompt, friendly and they anticipated our needs. Our waiter was exceptional! Food was prepared quickly and it was wonderful. My husband liked all the choices their salad bar had to offer. The location is conveniently close to the freeway. This restaurant started out being our favorite, but later the food started tasting like it was reheated. I was appalled when we went back about 4 months ago. What really bothered me was was ordered breakfast, and I ordered tea. They use Great Value Tea. One would think that a restaurant would have a better brand. Then, the breakfast was not good. I couldn't eat the scrambled eggs b/c they were overcooked. After having a bad experience with the dinner menu before this visit, we decided that we would not go back. They used to have great burgers, but at the time they were not offered on the dinner menu. I know that they had changed it, and started offering burgers, when we went for the last time, but we wanted to try breakfast. read more
