Been a regular last two years. Fabulous service and fresh tasty sushi. The owner is always there and Toshi has his eye on every detail. He is really amazing. This is a small place and usually we don't need a reservation but frequently call ahead. Some our favorites are any of the rolls particularly the Koume roll. The noodle dishes are delicious too. Anything we have tried is awesome. The dishes are decorated with Cartoons or Anime' characters. The decor is fun and if you love the Florida Panthers so does Toshi. When you leave Toshi will tell you "see you tomorrow" and a lot of times he's right! Worth a visit 100%. Go now unless it's Sunday when they're closed.

Love this place we always have so much fun when we go. The food is great. My kids love it cause there's always a special toy in the presentation, but you do not get to keep the toy just in case you were wondering

The owner is such a nice guy and very attentive and friendly. He makes you feel welcomed at all times. The decor is insane. Very anime and creative. The presentation of the sushi is 10/10. Each plate has a different anime character, which is so cool especially if you like anime. The sushi is so good. Always fresh, presentation is always on point, the taste has never disappointed. I highly recommend This sushi place.

If you're from this area, if you are NOT from this area, and if you are in the mood for amazing food and vibes please make your way here. The friendliness, the attentiveness by whom I believe to be the owner - 'Toshi' - was absolutely incredible. For starters every dish I am going to list below that I had I recommend each one. - seaweed salad - Koume Sushi Roll - Sashimi Deluxe - Tuna Yukee - Uni - Tempura Ice Cream We came to celebrate my fiancés birthday which Toshi came and delivered the boat himself decorated with Elmo and everything you see in the picture. I had indirectly mentioned it was my fiancés birthday so him coming out with the boat singing with the candle and as animated as he was made my day and my fiancés day. It was such a sweet surprise. Needless to say we are now going to be their regulars.

We had such a great time at Koume! The parking lot was busy but we lucked out on a spot right in front of the restaurant. Upon entering you can hear a familiar shout welcoming you in. We were seated pretty fast and handed a very detailed menu (complete with photos of pretty much every item). We ordered the miso soup, the Japanese grilled squid and the cucumber salad for apps. The little one enjoyed the grilled squid & it was her 1st time having it. For entrees, we had the chicken katsu and the Oasis roll with a sushi ikora. Almost every dish had a different adorable figurine (you cannot take them home) in the plate. The food came out fast and accurate. When leaving you can hear a familiar voice shout out of "see you tomorrow". We will be back, for sure. The atmosphere was worth a drive

Solid place. Major panthers fans and decor here. I think it's an actual Japanese person cooking and running this place. $15 be to lunch specials.

See you tomorrow!! Toshi and the lovely staff at Koume are a hidden gem that I almost don't want to write about so that the next time I come it's not jam packed. Boasting charisma, a touch of the whimsical, and the spirit of just being a good human, Toshi has cultivated a top dining experience out of a hole in the wall. After a long few hours of shopping at the nearby mall, we wanted a quick bite outside of the mall and were drawn in by the photos of figurines mounted on the plates of sushi. Being nerds it was a no brainer to check it out. We left feeling extremely cared for, and most importantly well fed. We ordered the cucumber salad and cream cheese wontons to start and I ordered the Miami Heat rolls. Toshi brought out some extra sauces upon request (ponzu and eel). My Miami heat rolls were perfect, a little crunchy, a little tang, but a full balance of flavor. We can't wait to go back and see you tomorrow!

This local sushi spot is a neighborhood favorite for a reason. The service is excellent -- friendly, attentive, and efficient every time. The restaurant is small and cozy, so weekends can get pretty crowded, which is why we decided to do takeout this visit. The rolls were well made, flavorful, and very reasonably priced, making it a great value overall. Most of the fish tasted fresh, though the tuna wasn't quite as fresh as we've had before. It felt like a bit of bad luck rather than the norm. Despite that, it's still a solid sushi option, and we'll definitely be back

They deserve 5 stars for the ambiance alone! Such a fun vibe with all of their characters from various anime, shows, and movies. Seems like they could have everyone you could think of. We were quickly seated and able to order just as quickly. It felt as soon as we ordered we were already being served. They also moved us to a bigger table to let us know we were getting the sushi boat (although we didn't order it). I guess since we ordered three rolls they put it on the boat for us. It was so sweet and such a cool and fun way to design the sushi with the various characters. All of the various types of fish were so fresh! We ordered the tuna tataki first and the ponzu on the sashimi slices was just perfect. Absolutely delicious. We ordered the eel dancing roll, the salmon dancing roll, and the house Koume roll. We both loved the eel dancing roll the most. The eel was fantastic and the eel sauce was just the cherry on top. The salmon dancing roll was fantastic as well and the avocado was quite fresh. We enjoyed the Koume roll but the yellowtail tuna was hard to get a distinctive taste of and the rice was drier than the other rolls and fell apart quickly. Overall we had fantastic rolls and would absolutely come back for the eel dancing roll alone. We ended our little anniversary dinner with tempura ice cream. So so GOOD! Such a classic and must have at the same time. Delicious and cannot go wrong with ordering this.

5 stars Koume An excellent spot for authentic Japanese food. The service is outstanding and very welcoming, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is traditional, perfect if you're looking for a real Japanese dining experience. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. Definitely one of my favorite places. Highly recommended!

Love love love this place. My daughter chose sushi over gelato before trick or treating so we chose Koume since it's close to home. My mom had never been so she ordered yakisoba, my daughter got her usual shrimp tempura roll and lately I have been hooked on the dinner box, so I got it with beef teriyaki and JB Roll. It was all so delicious. We cleared our plates and even though mom had a big portion, she killed the yakisoba. As always, the service is great and they remember us because we come so often. I always recommend this place to friends and family because of the honey vibes and chill ambience.

It was a jumbo tray with a full pineapple, fried rice, flavorful meat, and an appetizer. I do not recall because it's been a while. At that point, I would have given this place five stars because we had good service. But the second time around, I came with a girlfriend, and it was disappointing. Because I had a good time the first time, I thought she would like it too, and assumed all the other menu items would be up to par along with the customer service... But it was a stark difference from the last visit. We took our time perusing through the menu, which is large and had good variety, so it took us a while to finally decide. But I was perplexed why we never got the platter menu so after some time, I asked our waitress for the menu and she said "Oh whoops, I should've given that first!" That already was a red flag because if that's the first menu for us to see, in which it was the first menu I saw last time, it tells me their platters are the best sellers and the rest of the menu are mid... My friend ordered the chicken teriyaki and she wasn't pleased. I thought it's perhaps because she chose a simpler dish, but when she offered me to try it, I can see why she disliked it... The chicken was unbearably dry and lacked flavor. I got the Hong Kong noodles with beef and it wasn't bad. We shared egg rolls before our meals which were OK, but I never received my tom yum soup. The service was slow and the waitress was not attentive at all. It was a little busier with several tables filled compared to my last visit, but we saw a party of three arrive 20 minutes after us and they were able to leave before we finished our dinner, so that made us feel like we were an afterthought. So with that experience, I bring my stars down to 3 and recommend that if you do visit, the large sharable platters are the only things worth it there. As you've read in my experience, customer service is hit or miss. It looks like a trendy spot with each booth having a neon-lit quote, so I'll give it that. The platters looked very trendy and aesthetic, but the apps and meals we had from the regular menu did NOT look trendy or aesthetic at all. It seems that they only focus their creativity and energy on those three platters.

On a Sunday evening, we didn't have an issue getting seated. The restaurant is spacious and has a nice ambience. To start, we ordered the crazy jalapeño appetizer, which is tempura fried stuffed with krab and cream cheese. Very delicious and filling at $9. We both agreed that we would order this one again. Next up was 2 blue crab masago hand rolls with 4 pieces of seared scallop nigiri. Honestly, the hand rolls without any texture (cucumber, tempura flakes, etc) was a little flat for me. The crab tasted a little fishy too. Out of all the items we tried this was our least favorite. You can't go wrong with seared scallops, these were perfect in flavor and texture. Our last appetizer was the tempura vegetables. Everything was cooked well and very fresh tasting with the tempura fry. The stars were definitely the rolls.
