On January 15, 2026, we paid 250 for them to tell us our chimney was safe for gas logs, no issues at all and they "cleaned" it. We had some leaking a few months later. Called this company several times, not return call or answer. Had 2 other companies come out who said we have cracks in our chimney, that were not recent AND a piece of exposed wood in the fireplace (rendering out fireplace unsafe to burn anything). I found a number for this company (by calling the company who does their financing) and called them. They sent a tech out who gave us an estimate for the chimney cracks. Said nothing about the exposed wood. We asked to speak to the owner, was told we could not. We asked for their local address, the receipt has a company in Dallas, they refused to give me their Knoxville address. We are out 250 BUT had we known about these issues, we would have negotiated them prior to buying our house and possibly would not have bought the house as I really want a fireplace! They replaced the whole top with solid concrete and fixed all my stones that were missing and lose. put new caps on and sealed my chimney. there's been multiple big rains since and no leaks at all. my chimney looks great and I finally got to have a fire after another company told me it was unsafe and tried to sell me a bunch of unnecessary things. Allen was helpful and explained everything and even taught me some new things. he's called over the last couple reasons to be sure there's no leaks as he guarantees his work and will come fix anything in the future if need be. his masonry work is excellent and pricing is very reasonable. he's also a great price for cleaning compared to the big companies that like to over charge. I can't rave about chimney doctor enough and would tell you if you need anything done with chimney or fireplace to use him.

Saved me a lot of money having someone else look at it. Had them out one more time and was charged an exorbitant amount for what amount to 15 minutes of work. Upon inspection in the attic is was not cleaned up as they said it would be. In summary, nice people, check their work, if something seems more expensive than it should be, get a second opinion. Be suspicious of "problems" that need to be addressed.

So, we reached out to friends in the area and they suggested Rob at Climatize. Their team came in, spent time figuring out the issue, tried different things and really researched the problem. They had to come out twice because they didn't want replace an expensive part if it didn't have to be. Unfortunately, it did turn out to be the issue but they didn't charge another service call. They were very thorough, replaced the part and then made some suggestions for future improvements but were not pushy. When the time came to make those improvements they were exactly who we called. They try to find the most economical way to do things and actually know what they are talking about. It was really refreshing to do business with people who aren't trying to nickel and dime you to death AND who have the knowledge on how to repair a unit. They are 100% my choice and I trust them fully.

They had about 15 guys on the crew and they got the large job done in one day. Yesterday, eleven years later, a tiny leak developed so I called them again. Steve arrived within the hour. He diagnosed the problem and had two other guys come by a couple of hours later who fixed it. I was amazed to have them do this at no charge! I'll definitely be using them in any future roofing projects. This was in Knoxville, TN, though Yelp seems convinced that I'm in Reno, NV!

Stancell's inspection revealed missing flashing, an improperly installed roof valley and prior water damage. They inspected the entire roof and quickly repaired existing damage, as well as handling some preventive maintenance. Work was completed quickly and at a fair price. The only thing they couldn't repair was our faith in the honesty of the seller.

They unsuccessfully tried to clear the clog, finally using a TV camera to locate the trouble. It became apparent from the camera feed there was a bigger problem than a clog, with the old pipe leading out into the front yard. It was a combination of an old iron pipe deteriorating and becoming separated from a section of pvc. So, they needed heavy equipment to fix it; Two days before Thanksgiving, I thought..........this isn't going to be good... ....but the guys came back after a day as agreed (and on time) , dug up the old pipe and replaced the whole thing with new pvc. They did have to dig up a section of yard, but did their best to limit the digging. They then replaced and leveled the dirt. When finished they made sure everything was flowing and flushing properly, testing both bathrooms. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and answered all the questions I had, and then replaced a shower head neck we needed replaced in the other bathroom, unrelated to the clog. Both guys were very agreeable, great attitudes, they took time to make sure the job was done properly and we were happy with it. Give these guys a raise, McRae plumbing!

Update on the below review. A new team was sent to my house this morning. They arrived earlier…read morethan stated, that was a good thing. My system has been running for about 2 hours now since they completed the work and everything is running as it should. The floor is dry, there is no leaking, and my house is cool. I truly appreciate the two that came to my house this morning. They were professional and explained what the problem was and how they fixed it. For them I give 5 Stars. Unfortunately I can still only give average for the entire experience. If the company would have done what they were supposed to in the first place instead of telling me to use my shop vac, would have made a difference. Telling me the second time to use my shop vac, failure. A person shouldn't have to babysit to make sure other's are doing the work they are getting paid for. They did great with my install but when it comes to customer service, they need to do better. First time I called them I was told to get my shop vac to clear the drain line. I tried it, thought it worked but evidently not. Electrician told me yesterday my crawl space had a lot of water in it under the air unit. I call Krugg, they come out, use the vacuum and air hose. Say they cleared the line. 2 hours later I have water leaking again. I call Krugg and they ask if I'm sure it's not just wet from before. Wanted me to use my shop vac. When I said no because it didn't work he told me to shut the unit off and they would be out in the morning sometime. It is 4:30 in the afternoon. I don't understand why they can't come back out and fix this, Then they guy tried to say that it wasn't working because of the black line that they use in trailers. Maybe Krugg shouldn't have taken on the job in the first place since I don't live in Farragut.
