We were skeptical about coming after reading a different review on Yelp that suggested the food…read morewasn't authentic. Now that I've been, I have to say it tasted authentic to me, at least based on the food my table had. Crab fried rice was delicious. They gave generous portions of meat in all of the meat dishes. The crispy duck was actually crispy. The food was well seasoned and not too salty. I think they actually do make their Thai tea because my tea was in 2 layers when it was brought out (tea at the bottom and milk at the top) and I mixed it myself. Though the restaurant was busy, the servers did their best to attend to you and came back to refill waters. The place was clean. Sufficient parking. Unfortunately, we didn't try the tum yum, which is honestly the bar I judge every Thai restaurant by (I want to taste that galangal and kaffir leaf), next time. Took pictures after we chowed down this time. I do need to warn that their medium spicy level is actually spicy, which I enjoyed, but others may not. I do highly recommend if you are in the area and craving Thai. ----------- Update: went back and tried the Tom Yum. It was good, but was missing the "kick" and depth of sour flavor I prefer. Also would add that the food can get pricey fairly quickly if you get multiple dishes. Chicken satay was delicious, highly recommend. I'd still go back and recommend coming here though.

We love Thai food, and having lived in the Seattle area for a long time, have eaten our fair of excellent Thai food. This was amongst the worst I've had. I was suspicious as soon as we walked in regarding the quality and standards we might experience so we wisely shared one dish-Panang curry with beef. My husband also got a Singha beer. My husband-who will eat what I consider the cheapest of beef and love it- would not eat the beef in this dish. He said it had a strange taste and texture. I agreed that it was unusual and steered clear as well. Be careful, they add 18% gratuity to your bill, then ask for a tip when they give you their device. Even without an additional tip, we walked out of there having spent $38 on a meal we could barely gag down, and one beer. Skip it!

I've driven by Sakura for years. The lil' missus wanted sushi yesterday. She googled sushi- says…read moreSakura has 4 stars and it's a buffet. Ok let's try it. Parking is tight. 2:30 Sunday afternoon and there is a line. It's dark. It's old. It's cramped. It's packed. Pay as you enter at some booth that looks like a fortune teller would be sitting in it. If the fortune teller was indeed there- they would say you are about to be forever changed. We paid- got seated- and headed to the buffet. Holy guacamole Batman. It's tight and crowded. They had prawns or maybe crawfish- missus loved them. They had shrimp. Fried fish looked rough. They had everything you can find in a Chinese food place. They had miles of noodles, piles of egg rolls and dumplings and spring rolls. They had ice cream and cookies and desserts. They had cakes and puddings and yes- a salad or three. If you got to a buffet and eat a salad- you got issues I can't fix. The final test: missus says she didn't see red jello. It isn't a real buffet without the red jello. I went looking. Yes- three kinds of jello. How did everything taste? Missus liked it all and really liked the potatoes ( why, just, why.) I thought the place was absolutely terrific. Old and a bit tired but the food was so very good. The service from our waits was good. She would say to people "I see you" and smile as she took the empty plates or refilled glasses. We paid $12.99 per person, plus $3 per person for drinks. With tip is was like $38 ish bucks. I can spend that at Freddy's or Burger King for two people. So- if ya haven't been there, try it. If ya have- you hopefully had the same great experience we did. Ive included a photo of the jello, just to prove how authentic Sakura is.

I was in town on vacation and was craving some Chinese food and this was the only Chinese buffet…read morearound. Surprisingly, this place stays open until 10pm nightly. Walking in, I was surprised to pay first before you eat as most places I ever been to is eat and pay later. The variety here is actually decent as I expected it to be a lot smaller than anticipated. They have their sushi bar, hibachi (cook to order), fried section, cold bar, salad bar, and dessert area. I really enjoyed their hibachi made to order areas. The cook definitely had some skills. The flavor was definitely on point! The dumpling dipping sauce was amazing. Best I have ever tasted. I am shocked this place didn't get better reviews. The waitress was attentive and kept clearing our table and giving us refills. The ice cream and fruits here was not bad at all. The quality of ice cream was very good and I really enjoyed it. Coming from Atlanta with all the Chinese buffets, I am very surprised to actually enjoy this spot. I highly recommend here if you're in town wanting some good Asian buffet. Price was just right as well. I can't wait to come back!!

There was several vans full of people that came in at once and you would've thought the staff would have came together too get people fed faster. Ambience was as expected, it was clean and modern. Biggest thing that upset me is, I had to change my newborn on the kitchen sink because that men's bathroom does not provide a changing station. Not sure if this is location specific or panda express just think men don't change baby diapers.

The server behind the counter was very nice. Had a wonderful welcomed smile and answered all the questions that we had, that being said, the food was cold, tasted old, no flavor, the rice was the best part, but there's something inside of their egg rolls. They're clear gel like about a half inch long spread throughout the egg roll. When I broke the egg roll apart, I saw them. What is that? Has anyone else noticed that? If you go to panda express break your egg roll apart and start fishing through it. You'll find it there too. We will not be returning to panda express and that's very disappointing. As a local for the Sevierville Tennessee store it's in a great location, but the food was horrible.....
