Service was freaky fast. The scenery is beautiful. The thai iced tea was yummy. Dumplings were awesome!! Got the spicy pad ped with chicken and i didn't really like it, but my friend did.

Food was expensive. we got Pad kee mao and it was cold and all the noodles were stuck to each other. The chicken wontons were over fried. Service was fine, bur was disappointed in the food.

Amazing food! Customer service is so great too. Also right next to the creek, this place is very pretty. We ordered to go, and we actually inconvenienced the workers since we showed up less than an hour to closing time. Instead of turning us away, they let us order for to go and we're very kind, giving us 2 drinks while we wait as well. All their food was amazing. I highly recommend the papaya salad, tom kha, and pad Thai. Stop by if you're in the area!

We had an excellent meal at The Baht and I honestly don't understand how anyone could walk away disappointed. We started with the crispy tofu and the spicy pork balls, and both were fantastic. The tofu had great texture and real flavor, not an afterthought, and the pork balls had genuine heat and depth without being over the top. My husband ordered the Tom Kri soup with shrimp and it was, hands down, the best dish of lunch. Creamy coconut broth with mushrooms and pickled onions, deeply flavorful and perfectly balanced. I would come back just for that soup alone. For entrées, my daughter had the pad Thai, I had the Khao Soi, and my husband ordered the duck basil. All three were excellent. Bold, authentic flavors and generous portions. I saw a review claiming the portions are small and that could not be further from the truth. Portions are large. We took home leftovers. Maybe that person eats at Shoneys or something. The view is adorable, cozy, and charming, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If you're in Gatlinburg and want something beyond the usual tourist food, this is absolutely the place

CRAB & PORK DRY NOODLES

The location of the restaurant is beautiful! The whole restaurant is made of glass and it overlooks a creek with flowing water. There's also outdoor seating but we didn't opt for that due to ducks roaming around outside. We went for lunch one day and came back for dinner another day making it two different experiences. The first day we they mentioned they're out of papaya salad so we opt for beef jerky, pad Thai chicken, tom yum beef fried rice, and a pork & crab dry noodles. It's def on the pricey side and there is 18% gratuity already added! Good experience for lunch. We came back for dinner another night Ordered thai ice tea which was good! Ordered a shrimp pad Thai which is good as well however their pad Thai aren't consistently flavored. I guess it all depends on which protein one orders but based on all my Thai places experiences, it should be consistent no matter the protein. Anyways. I ordered glass noodles with beef and it was a bit bland I added some papaya salad sauce and it spiced it up more and better flavored. This time they did have papaya salad and it was good! My husband ordered the beef green curry. It took a while to come out probably because it was slightly hectic. It wasn't cooked as thoroughly as it should but overall the taste was ok. Rice was slightly undercooked but we didn't fuss. Overall, a good Thai experience in a place where Asian food isn't prevalent! Definitely a must try!

We had an overall nice dinner here. The restaurant has a great location right by the water. Our food came quickly after ordering. However, I did find the portions to be on the smaller compared to their price point. The dishes I enjoyed the most were their pad Thai and pad kee mao- we ordered both with shrimp, which they cooked perfectly. The most disappointing dish was their basil duck- the duck tasted quite dry and the entire dish was extremely salty. Even with the side of white rice it was overwhelmingly salty. We ordered an extra side of white rice and that was $5. The khao man Kai was quite good in terms of flavor, but it is very gingery and I thought the chicken itself was just ok. I would stick to ordering their fried rice or noodle dishes. Our servers were friendly and we got a kick out of their robot servers. I do recommend bringing a light jacket because they have their AC on full blast so it does feel chilly inside the restaurant.

I really enjoyed my food here, but unfortunately my partner did not. I ordered the Fried Mushrooms and Green Curry. They were both delicious and no negative notes. My partner order a yellow curry fried noodle dish with soft noodles in it too. This dish was a huge miss for him. I would return solo if in the area.

I had the Panang curry with chicken. Portion size was huge. It was good, but I've had better. I pretty much order this dish at every Thai restaurant I visit. Firstly, it was odd that they put peas in it ... never seen that before. Other vegetables, yes, but peas are just a strange flavor in a panang (coconut-y) curry. Other than that, i would say it was a little too sweet and too thin (watery, instead of thick and creamy). But not bad. On the spiciness level, I asked for three stars (out of five), and I'd say it was slightly less spicy than I expected. The server was very friendly, but somehow she or the kitchen (or the robot) got two out of our three orders wrong (very wrong) on the first try. But they quickly corrected the mistakes and were apologetic.

Food is absolutely delicious! Best Thai restaurant in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The service was great at the door the host greeted us with a smile and walked us to our table poured us water. The restaurant location is cute windows all around from floor to ceiling giving it a cute elevated feel the dining experience. The serve helped us out with boxing our food and brought our check. Very sweet service. Not sure why it has such a low rating our experience from being to end was top notch.

PAD KEE MAO

A cute spot for a great lunch with excellent service! I had the pad kee Mao, which was quite good. Ordered mild spiciness, which turned out to be a bit spicier than I'd intended but it thankfully didn't overpower the delicious flavor of the dish itself. Very flavorful and maybe a tad bit too salty. The Thai iced tea was also pretty good although way too sweet (but maybe that's just how it's supposed to be?). Either way, this was a nice quiet lunch spot a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. And they have their own FREE parking!

Forced default 18% gratuity + tips on top of it. Tourist trap. Stay away. Bad business practice. Do not recommend.

I ordered the crab cakes, and they were absolutely delicious--full of crab, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. My wife had the grilled shrimp, and she loved it as well. Everything was fresh and cooked just right. Great food, excellent service, and a smooth experience despite the crowd. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Gatlinburg!

As for the food, it was honestly pretty underwhelming considering how hyped this place is. The crab dip was okay, nothing memorable. The steak and lobster was disappointing- the lobster had that soft texture that overcooked or not-so-fresh crawfish can have. The baked shrimp wasn't bad, but definitely not something I'd order again. Strawberry shortcake was decent enough. Ironically, the bread basket ended up being my favorite part of the meal-absolutely delicious. The service, however, was genuinely warm and hospitable. It was a bit slow, but the staff was kind, friendly, and personable enough that it made up for it. That was honestly the highlight of the experience. Was I excited to try this place because of all the hype? Absolutely. Would I personally recommend it? Probably not.

1000000/10 I'm…read morehonestly devastated we can't come back tonight before we leave to go back home tomorrow. They are closed tonight. However, our dinner last night was incredible! You need reservations; if you don't have them, you risk getting turned away. It's a husband and wife running the entire place. No extra help. They want you to stay and relax and enjoy everything. We only stayed 90 minutes and they tried to get us to stay longer. Like all the reviews say, it's a very European experience. We've never experienced anything like it. We started with an old fashioned and a margarita from the daily cocktail menu. Olga welcomed us with a hug and took us to our table. She didn't stay out long because she is the chef! But it was still cool to interact with her in the beginning. Both her and her husband made us feel like family. It started pouring and he walked outside with an umbrella and held it for 2 girls at the bar. I thought that was super sweet. We ordered the salmon roe caviar and it was divine. Our second course was the oyster flatbread and I ended up being sad I was sharing it. It was that good!!!!! We were pretty full at this point after a couple more drinks. They were really busy too, so we decided to go ahead and get the check. It started raining right after we got our check, so we ended up getting one more drink to wait it out. We had the best time and can't wait to come back!

While we were walking the Arts and Crafts Loop near Gatlinburg (I HIGHLY recommend this as well), we noticed this wonderful-looking restaurant nestled away in the green forested hills across the street. We opted to come back here for dinner on our last night in the Great Smokey Mountains. Sooooo glad we did! Owned and operated by a European couple, the Red Oak has the ambiance of a quaint European restaurant that one would find tucked away in the Alps. While the inside atmosphere is wonderful, we chose to sit outside to enjoy the very quiet and beautiful forested hills of Gatlinburg. Service was incredible and very European - they told us they would not bother us unless we asked for something and that the table was ours for the evening. Yep...we stayed there for three hours, sipping our wine and trying various dishes of exquisite flavor. I'd like to say try this or try that, but to be honest: all the dishes we tried were absolutely phenomenal. We cannot wait to try this place again!
