absolutely horrible we spent almost 40 dollars and couldnt eat this food. the texture on the crab Rangoon was dry and tasteless. texture was awful the sweet and sour pork was terri once again the texture made it deplorable and the chicken was overcooked and dry cery disappointing will never order from here again read more

This is probably one of my last minute go to meals for dinner. It's probably the cheapest Chinese restaurant around the USF area. The service is usually pretty quick. It should take no longer than 10 minutes whenever you order food. I usually order the Combination Rice with fried chicken wings and they never miss a beat. I never regret coming hear for a quick dinner. It's only To-Go so don't think about dining in. I would've given them 5 stars if it was bigger and I could dine in. Had hot and sour soup. Seemed like it was missing seaweed and other ingredients. Flavor good Teriyaki beef sticks were fry and seemed like they were made days ago . Husband & I stopped by today. The peas & carrots in the Fried Rice were Frozen! The General Tso's chicken was Gross. 1 piece and I was done. We order chicken lo mein & we got chicken chop suey. The sauce was a blob of gelatin gunk!!!!!!!! Unfortunately we did not find out till we got home. When this place first opened it was good. While waiting on food to be good, we sat at a table. I put my arm on table. It stuck to the table. I went to bathroom to clean my arm. Got a paper towel with soap to clean the table. Needless to say my arm was still sticky as was the table. Upon arriving home, off to bathroom to clean my arm. I used handsoap 2x, dawn dish soap 2x, used body wash and then used vinegar & rubbing alcohol. It was not as sticky after all that. Took a shower scrubbed the arm till it was red & almost raw looking. It was no better. I got a degreaser & gunk to remove it. Still slightly sticky. Personally WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. I would not feed this food to any animal. Waste of $$. Of course when calling to let them know. The woman was RUDE!!! No $$ back our food good. BEWARE!! If you want Chinese Food, the mall has good, decent priced Chinese food as does Panda Express. The staff in both are very Pleasant Friendly. read more

The four star rating is based on the price. This is a cheap Chinese takeout shop, not authentic cuisine. For what it is, it is good. General tsos was actually spicy. Nothing was too greasy. Good enough is the best you can ask for here, and you get it. read more

Great chinese take out! Sesame chicken is easy to screw up but these people got it down. Serving size is good and they have never screwed up our order. I LOVEEE Chinese food and have tried a couple places around USF, but China 1 was by far the best. The lunch special is incredibly reasonable- $5.15 for half a (large) togo box of pork friend rice, and the other half of the box is whichever entrée you pick, and also a soda (or) eggroll. It was a great deal- I got the chicken lo mien & my coworker got the sweet and sour chicken. Both were excellent, not greasy. HUGE portions. They also deliver with a $15 minimum, so if you're ordering for 3 people or more, this could mean lunch delivery! I would highly recommend. Food was cooked fast, we only waited about 5-10 minutes. read more

Nasty greasy rice, but the bourbon chicken wasn't too bad

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever ate. The Crab Rangoon had no cream cheese inside them. The egg drop and hot & sour soup did not taste right. Both of the items we ordered tasted bad. I will not eat there again. read more
