Hair found in food. I'm not sure what more I need to say. Dirty walls, floors, tables, booths. And thats just the part I could see. Buffet food was cold and somehow every dish tasted the same. Saw the waitress only twice. Won't be back. Pic included.

We stopped in here for lunch for the first time. The layout and placement of all the food is well done, and they have a lot to offer. They have an area where you can have a Mongolian style plate freshly cooked, fruit and salad tables, typical Chinese fare, and even scoopable ice cream. For the money, this is a 4 to5 star place to eat, however, they lose a star or two for these reasons. The carpeting in the dining room clearly has not been cleaned in years and is filthy. All the furnishings are also dirty, and stained along with dust and grime on the walls. I recommend wiping down the silverware before you use it and the table as well. It's still worth $11 a person for lunch buffet if you don't mind the surrounding grime.

They are always soo good & friendly! I order to go & they give huge portions! The beef is so tender & juicy. The fried dumplings are the best I've ever had & so cheap. You could actually get them cheaper and more if you go make your own plate. Best in town to me at reasonable prices with a lot of food.

Ok, I know 5 stars is a bunch especially for a Chinese buffet in South Texas however, this place has many things going for it. The selection of food is vast. The sushi (which I never eat at a buffet) is fresh and good. They have Mongolian BBQ (did not try). There are things here you would never find on a Chinese buffet (only in TX). Huge building and very clean! I would suggest to everyone give it a try.

Best variety of any Chinese buffet I've ever been to. Sometimes the food can be old or cold though.

It's your typical Chinese buffet. Nothing more, nothing less. If you want your Asian food to be better then look elsewhere.

The fried rice & fried shrimp taste like any other Asian restaurants, nothing big of a deal.

I only tried this place for convenience since it's right next to the medical supply place I shopped at. The inside is small with a handful of tables. The hostess assumed I was there to pickup an order but I corrected her that I had planned to dine in. Her response was, "oh yeah. You can do that too." The menu had a lot of choices. Too many choices. And I didn't see any combination plates. I was in a bit of a hurry so I ordered the General Tso's chicken because it was a familiar dish to me. The hostess was also my waitress and took my order. She asked what soup and rice I wanted. I didn't realize my meal also came with this. I ordered white rice and I asked what were my soup options. Hot and sour, egg drop and wonton. I chose the wonton. Now, I don't really like these soups, but out of the three, wonton is my least revolting. For the last 20 years the only Chinese restaurant I've eaten at is the buffet on Navarro. So that's the wonton soup I'm used to. When she brought me my cup of soup I noticed it had a chunk of cabbage as well as wontons in it. "Nice touch," I thought. Then I tasted it. Wow!! The cabbage was still firm. Fresh. And the broth was delicious. Not chicken bouillon broth as I expected. Then the wontons... wow! I've never had a wonton this high quality before. Everything about it was delicious and obviously fresh. Soon after, my General Tso's plate arrived. There was enough food to feed my family on that plate. And there were so many veggies with the chicken. Fresh, firm broccoli, bell peppers, scallions, and I believe cayenne peppers. I accidentally bit into one of the peppers and my mouth was immediately on fire!! The sauce was a deep dark red and full of flavor. The perfect blend of spicy and sweet. More on the spicy and less on the sweet. Every bite was delicious. I couldn't eat it all because there was too much food. I asked the waitress for a to-go container. I definitely wasn't going to leave these left overs behind! When she brought me my styrofoam container I told her that this was the absolute best General Tso's I've ever had. She admitted that she herself won't eat Chinese food anywhere else in town.

One thing that did stand out at this place was the extreme abundance of variety. If you don't like Asian food, don't fret, they have you covered with the normal kids staples like chicken strips and pizza but also things like enchiladas. Supposedly if you want a steak of some sort you can tell them and they will make one for you to your liking, but there was plenty of food to try that did not require that effort. The hot and sour soup is pretty decent, it is the one thing I went back for seconds on. The rest of the food had decent flavors but was never the right temperature due to the nature of a buffet. One additional thing, you don't ever have to stand around and wait for the food because they never let the trays go empty. By the time it is getting low they are already bringing out another batch to replace it. Much better than some buffet's I've been to. All in all, if you're a buffet person I would definitely recommend coming here. If you are not a buffet person then this place will not make you one but it a bit better than most.

When we got there most of the food ... all of the food had been sitting for seemed to be for hours. The rice had that dried up layer on top. It wasn't hot. The sushi had been sitting there , you can tell by the color of the avocado and the raw fish. They were all browned. AVOID. The lo mien didn't look appealing at all. The kids food options ; pizza was cold and old, chicken nuggets - like potato chips , fries were decent. Mushrooms were cold, oysters and mussels weren't fresh. Ice cream was cold just the spoon .. I don't want to think about how long it's been sitting in nasty water. The cold desserts weren't cold. Very very bad food regulations. No food safety could get someone sick. Yeah don't recommend. Save ur money $29 for one adult after tax.
