I'm on a strict diet, so I asked my shrimp and vegetables to be steamed. The did a wonderful job preparing my dinner. The shrimp was tasty and the veggies were tender crisp. While we were waiting for our meal to arrive, we enjoyed a cup of wonton soup. Delish! The place was clean & not too noisy. The waitress was nice. We will visit again for Chinese food. This place has good food and it's inexpensive. I would consider coming back here because of the value. I will say I really liked their pork egg rolls, delicious, much better than most places. The Hot & Sour soup, the Won Ton soup and the 3 ingredient Kung Pao were good but certainly not the best I've had. The place itself, the service & ambiance are about what I'm used to from a Chinese place, it's not run down but not fine dining either. The waitress will occasionally check on you. Ultimately, if you're looking for a good place that won't hurt the pocket book, you may have found your place- the lunch specials are very inexpensive. Just tried Chan's Inn Asian Fusion for the first time and wow -- easily the best Chinese food in the area. We got the Szechuan chicken, combo fried rice, and beef lo mein. The fried rice especially was next level. The place was clean, service was fast and super friendly. It's cozy but still roomy enough to not feel cramped. Prices were great too. We've officially found our new go-to spot, sorry, not sorry United Chinese down the street, but Chan's just took the crown. read more

The exterior is very unassuming, with its strip mall and cheesy font on the sign. But the interior is actually pretty cute, and everyone inside was very nice and welcoming. I think they must have a lot of regulars, as the servers mentioned that they hadn't seen us before and hoped we would be back. And boy howdy will we be. We got the Mongolian beef and the orange chicken. The Mongolian beef was so good- sliced onions and a fresh garlic heavy sauce. My husband asked for both dishes we ordered to be medium spicy, and that was a little much for me, but he loved it. The orange chicken was breaded and fried, with a sauce that was amazingly multi layered, with a fresh orange slice and orange rind scattered throughout. We did ask for both fried rice and steamed rice, and only got the fried rice. I think I'll stick with the steamed rice, the fried rice was the least interesting part of the meal. Everything else made up for it in spades however. Highly highly recommend. Will be adding this to our regular rotation. read more

I've been here a few times and I always seem to order the same thing~ bbq pork fried rice. It's amazing! I stopped by the other day as well and my mom ordered the shrimp lomein and literally she finished in 5 minutes lol. I tried it as well and have to admit it was quite tasty. A little too much salt and grease for my taste, but the taste itself was on point. I also tried the combination noodle bowl and enjoyed the flavor as well; however, I thought the meat was pretty greasy. I think I will stick with the bbq pork friend rice~ honestly my favorite! I have been going to a place across the street from Chan's since I was a teenager (iykyk) which was my favorite Chinese restaurant... until tonight! I had read the reviews of chan's and decided to try something new and I am so glad I did! Chan's is now my go to place. I ordered cashew chicken (extra spicy) sesame chicken, orange chicken and a 2 person appetizer sampler. My husband was very doubtful that it would compare to our favorite place across the street but at the end of the meal he said "well goodbye old place hello Chan's " the food was AMAZING! My cashew chicken was full of flavor and had the perfect amount of savory sauce, his sesame chicken was not only the best he has ever had but was the perfect ratio of sweet and spice. The orange chicken was a bit spicy for my kid but I loved it (next time I say no spice) but my kid still loved it nonetheless. Why have I never had this before!? Chan's inn is a hidden gem and I look forward to many more orders from this place! read more

This is a wonderful very clean local restaurant with a great lunch special. The service is quick and friendly. We went here for an enjoyable work lunch and were well fed and taken care of. Great Food, Great hospitality all for a Great Price. First time eating here and I will say we could have easily shared portions. Food was good and fresh and service was awesome. Went here on 2/5/21. Have lived up here for 5 years and heard very good things about this place and finally ate here. We came for dinner. It seems they do a lot of takeout and delivery. When we came there for one other couple sitting inside. They do everything family style. The dinner specials were great. Soup, appetizers and entree. Everybody was very attentive and friendly. Tried this place after seeing it a couple of times hitting the slice works and Mexican place next door. The place was clean, food was fresh and good. Chinese food in this style of Americanized restaurant is hard to be amazing quality, but nothing was overly greasy or drenched soggy in sauce. The flavors and spice were delicious. We got kung pao and sweet and sour chicken dinner. The appetizers were fresh. Yummy shrimp and I would go back just for the chicken wings. The entrees were fresh and hot. I overheard the woman working say it was recently sold. Unsure how it compares to before, but service was excellent and efficient. Overall, I would absolutely return and recommend trying it knowing it's not a gourmet spot. read more

New owners took over about 2 months ago. We were so sorry to hear that. The new owners have changed some recipes. The fried rice has no flavor, the chow mein has broccoli in it now and no celery. The iced tea was a little weak. The lunch portion was very small. We might give them another chance in a few months. They said they used to own a restaurant in Denver but didn't say the name. We had a craving for Chinese food while on vacation so decided to try one of the closest places with a decent rating. We had a hard time reaching them by phone so we drove over to place our order. The lady running the front of the restaurant was super friendly and took our order as soon as we walked in. First of all, our food got done FAST. I was kind of shocked at how quickly, because while we were there the lady up front took a steady stream of orders so they seem to stay busy. We ordered Mongolian Beef, General Tso Chicken, Crab Rangoon, vegetable egg rolls and regular egg rolls. I asked about little packets of sweet & sour sauce and those little packet of red pepper but they did not have those. Instead, I was offered a couple of extra cups of the reddish sweet & sour sauce and a cup of hot chili oil, for an additional $2, which I agreed to purchase. The General Tso Chicken was delicious., although I wish there had been a smidge more sauce. The chunks of chicken were tender and didn't have an absolute ton of extra breading which was nice. The Mongolian Beef was also good, but it could have used a little more seasoning. The Crab Rangoon were so-so. They weren't bad, they just weren't great either. Both the veg and the regular egg rolls had that perfect (in my opinion) thin crispy wrapper but the regular one had better texture and flavor. The steamed rice was just sticky enough to efficiently use chop sticks to eat. At first glance I was a little concerned with the looks of the fried rice. It was super pale and only had egg in it, when I'm used to darker fried rice that also has pieces of onion in it. Surprisingly, the fried rice had really good flavor, like they used maybe chicken stock to cook it in? It was good. Overall, not the best Chinese food I've ever had but it was good enough that I'd order from them again if I was staying in that area. read more

I've made a couple of return visits since my first visit here, but I have to say that my most recent experience will be the last. I ordered the chicken with lemongrass. The chicken (if it was chicken) was of a very low grade and didn't taste like chicken at all. I wondered what I was ingested. I was offered a "to go" box. I accepted, but threw it out as soon as I reached my next destination. Interestingly, I noticed that you now receive a fortune cookie in a wrapper--something I commented on in a previous review. However, it is the cheap brand that has no orange or vanilla flavor. Crab wontons are awful. There's little crab or cream cheese flavor; the mixture inside fails to arouse the senses, unless repulsion is one of them. Time to find another option--the scoop places produce better food than what's on offer here. read more
