Don't go here! All the steaks were dry or had a bad flavor. I found one type of chicken I liked the rest not good. The fried rice was dry and bland. The lo mein was flavorless, nobody at my table would eat the lo-mein. The egg roll was mushy. None of the food tasted like regular Chinese. However when the bill came I was paying for 3 buffets and 2 drinks. My friend was paying for 4 buffets and 4 drinks. Tell me why my bill was higher! When i asked the server she had not a clue and came back to tell me the buffett is $14 and some change but still no answer why my bill was $63 and my friends was $60. They will upcharge you depending how they feel and when we left the lady at the front wouldn't even look at us! Stood sideways with her arms crossed and a very sour angry look! Very unprofessional after dropping $63 for some mid food you can't even say thank you for the business. Very rude and unprofessional. Leftover takeout food from here was not appetizing. My General Tso Chicken was fairly good yesterday. Not the best but ok. Today, it was rubbery after being heated and not so delicious. Takeout has been good to so so from here. Sometimes the fried rice is yellow or not yellow. If you have a preference or if you don't like yellow rice, this can be a problem. I have sampled takeout from different Asian fast food places and restaurants. When considering the prices and the flavor of the food, this place is fair in food and prices but not excellent. Hubby and I arrived at 11:00 for lunch, shortly after they opened. The buffet was completely stocked, everything looked very fresh and appetizing. I tried small bites of many different options, and 90% was just plain bland and under seasoned. Pepper steak, blah, spicy pork, ehh no, baked salmon, over cooked until it turned almost white, pork dumplings, tasted gummy and raw. The seafood surprise was good, it appeared to be seafood and I hope I don't get a surprise later! The kitchen area was very loud. Everything was either too seasoned or not seasoned enough... The wonton soup was awful and tasted off... The imitation crab cheese dish at first i thought it was ok then as i ate a couple more bites it tasted off like it was spoiled. They had breaded butterfly shrimp that tasted like it was frozen and had frostbite and then they warmed in the microwave. The fried wontons were so full of grease it dripped down my lip and then I spit it out, laid it on the napkin and with little pressure watched the oil come out of it.... I was thoroughly disappointed! My husband and I prayed we wouldn't get food poisoning and thank God we didn't! My husband and I were celebrating and I didn't want to make a scene so i wrote on the top of the receipt that I was sorry to have wasted so much food but that the food was just bad... The waitress came over to get the receipt before we could leave and took it and read it and then came over and asked about what we'd wrote but no one came to see if there was anyway to correct it or tried to take anything from the bill or anything... I have been here a few times and the attentiveness from the staff is pretty solid. they are very quick to clear off your table and refill your drinks, I appreciate that kind of service at any restaurant I dine in. upon entering, there is hardly any wait to be seated- especially during lunch hours, they have a decent amount of seating available and still maintain social distancing. they offer disposable gloves for handling the food and their tables and general area is clean from what I have experienced. besides the great service and cleanliness within the establishment, the food is subpar in my opinion. We stopped by but were hesitant to est at a buffet, especially after covid. But, I'm glad we did. It was super busy as it is almost right across from Ft. Campbell. The food is hot and fresh and it felt good to dine with fresh food. They are also quick to service your drinks and take away dirty plates. Love the service. Not great, not bad. Just food. The servers can do with an attitude adjustment however when they get a two dollar tip, especially since I never opt for a refill. If I were to pay for the service provided, I'd give absolutely nothing more than what my food cost. I went in for lunch Mar. 8th and picked up "fried" chicken. Notice the quotations cause the batch I'd just gotten my chicken from was completely bloody. It completely threw me off, I just ended up leaving. Management didn't even come speak to me about the issue. The servers I brought the chicken issue up with stayed behind the counter glancing at me every now and then. Unprofessional. If I could I would give it a negative 5 star. If your party is five and a baby they want to put where things are to close for comfort. Once the tally up your ticket,you can forget about getting anything else to drink,in turn causing you to be rude because you've tried many times to get their attention to ask for more to drink. The buffet is huge, but my absolute favorite was the Mongolian style food in the back for grilling. This meant I was able to go out to eat close to work, and eat somewhat healthy if you have the willpower to do so. I was about 50/50 in that endeavor lol. Went to New China Buffet for lunch with my family. The first thing I seen was a child working at the front greeting the customers, who then got a person to take us to our table. When we were taken to be seated, we were taken to an area in the back corner. I am in a wheel chair and was taken through a tight area, which was difficult to get my chair through. They actually by-passed a table that was open and it would have been easier for me to manuver. This put me in a position where it was difficult for me to access the buffet. after requesting a different table, I was ignored. I asked them why they put me i such a tight area, they spoke to each other in a foreign language to each other, and once again I was ignored. At this point we left the restaurant. I will not return to New China Buffet again. It is sad that they would treat a person with a disability this way! read more

Overall, I enjoyed my Chinese buffet experience here. Food selection was very decent, and $7.95 for lunch buffet is very reasonable even in this rural area. I don't particularly pay too much attention to service in buffet places, but the server around our table was very attentive and efficient. Our glasses were filled all the time we were there. My check came in the middle of our lunch--that was a bit too efficient in my opinion. It seemed the service slowed down considerably after he got paid. I guess I can't blame him too much. We got here very early for lunch--right after it opened at about 1115. Sushi section was decent with one plate of salmon. As the time went by that particular plate didn't get refilled. By the time we left, there was no salmon left. I assumed that they only put one plate of salmon sushi out during lunch. You can also pick your own meat and vegetables for Mongolian BBQ here. That way you know your food is fresh for sure. Some of the buffet items were being replaced as they got low. I think you will enjoy food here. Best Chinese food around hands down. I have dreams about China Buffet even after I PCSed. I don't understand why this location has a low rating. First and foremost, I think this buffet feeds half of the Fort Campbell population at lunch. They constantly keep the fresh food coming, maintain a clean restaurant, and there's immediate seating when you walk in. The customer service is what you can expect from a buffet: ask drink orders in a jiff, take plates, and refill drinks, DONE. I wouldn't recommend as the best place to take kids because there's people moving around like crazy, more often than not. Seriously, I'm active-duty military now stationed in Alaska, I meet someone from Campbell I mention China Buffet and ears perk up. The other Chinese food items are decent enough food, a lot better than you might expect. This spot is closer to my work than home so I get take out when I can. Its not spectacular food but then again its not horrid either. I do like that I can choose what I want and ive yet to find any cold meat or raw food in my selection. I love the mayo cream sauce chicken more than anything else and pepper steak. The service is really hit or miss depending on who you get but the cashier guy is usually stern faced but that doesnt affect the food . I went for a late dinner and surprisingly there were still food items. I think the grill area was closed off because there was no one there (I was there around 845pm, they close at 930). I didn't care too much for the grill anyway. The sushi was pretty good! The food choices were pretty awesome. I love their selection of seafood entrees, but was disappointed that there were no fruits I liked (watermelon was gone!) but the deserts were pretty tasty and I enjoyed myself. The waitress was really nice! Place is a good size, and there were a good amount of people when I went, for it being close to closing time! Will be going back again! I was visiting my fiancé and we both love visiting Chinese buffets. I found this one nearby and it looked promising based on the online reviews. We were greeted kindly, sat at a booth, and given our drinks quickly. I loved the dumplings, crab rangoon (they do not use onions thank goodness!), and lo mein the most. They also had a good selection of different kinds of chicken. I wish the sushi did not have sesame seeds on it because I cannot eat seeds, but overall, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal here -- we even went back two days later!
