Oh my gross! We were passing through and had a hankering for Chinese food so popped in for takeout. Gross. Just...no. I should have trusted my gut and left upon entering but you know those little hole in the wall restos you discover that just knock it outta the park? Yah this is not one of them. Literally disgusting, we got fried rice, sushi, and a kids chicken and French fries. The rice was burn, the beef was cooked with shrimp so all you tasted was shrimp, the sushi wasn't even worth taking a second bite it was giant and burnt all around, my child won't even eat the chicken after watching us be disgusted. If I could give it 0 stars I would. They serve cockroaches in food and then refuse refunds because I didn't bring in the food. I threw it I. Had the absolute worst experience with them tonight. Ordered my food they said it would be 45 min. An hour passed. Still no food. An hour and half passed, still no food. So I called. No answer. Called again they answered and told me the delivery driver had a delivery in front of me that I had to wait my turn and they hung up on me. Called back and they offered me 2 free egg rolls with my next order. I said ma'am I just want my money back this is ridiculous. She hung up on me again. So we went to the store where the woman argued with me about my order. I didn't get my refund but I got a $50 coupon. I will never be going back here or ordering from this place again. read more

Seriously gross. When ordering Chinese take-out, no one expects it to be gourmet, but our food was completely inedible. The sushi came with a side of yum yum sauce that was not separated and was shaken up all in the container. The crab ragoons were so hard, you couldn't even tear them apart, and I ordered sweet and sour chicken and it did not come with any sauce. After reading the reviews, we ordered various sushi rolls and chicken strips for a get together. $89 spent all together. The order we received was a complete mess. Sushi rolls had been tipped at some point causing them to be clumps of avocado and rice swimming in a "spicy mayonnaise" which tasted like a salty thousand island dressing with no "spice". The avocado and shrimp toppings were falling off, the avocado was already beginning to turn brown and bruised, and worse was the temperature of the sushi itself.... not cold...not even room temp....WARM SUSHI. As a Physician, I tend to be extremely cautious about any food I eat or serve, especially raw fish. So, before attempting to serve my guests any sushi I might have salvaged, I tasted a piece. Sadly, I had to spit it out because there was an aftertaste of BLEACH solution to the warm sushi. At this point, I could no longer accept what food was sent to our home and for the price we paid. I have never NEVER called any restaurant to discuss a bad order....until tonight. A young woman answered the phone. I explained that sadly, I needed to speak to a manager about our order. After an uncomfortable silence she said her name was Michelle and she was the manager. I politely explained what was going on and that I would like the sushi we ordered to be redone and brought out and she could take the incorrectly done orders back. She told me to hold on and put the phone down but not on hold. At this point I was treated to a foul rant about my lies. The only decent thing I can say about what I heard was that the young girl was very creative in the use of expletive verbiage. A young man picked up the call. He was professional and polite. He apologized for the state of the order and offered to have the order remade. Unfortunately, he was unable to maintain Michelle in check while he was on the call. She was yelling behind him telling him not to redo anything for "that lyin' B@!&H." At that moment, I could take no more vulgarity and could NOT trust that the redo order might be tampered with. I advised Marcus that I will follow up with the owner tomorrow and not to worry about our order tonight. Take this review for what it's worth but I will NEVER give my money to any establishment that unprofessional or in such a state that WARMED over sushi clumps would be considered acceptable for your customers. We got sick shortly after eating here on two different occasions, months apart. Less concerning, but still bothersome, was the misrepresentation on the menu. It notes that an order of chicken wings come with 6 pieces when it only came with 3. When we asked the restaurant about it, they told us, "We used to seperate them at the joint, but we stopped doing that. If you break them 3 in half, it would be 6 pieces." Please. The general Taos chicken was okay and the fried was average. The egg roll was good though but having worked in a Chinese restaurant I know that it's likely they aren't made in house but come shipped in a box and get dropped in the deep fryer. read more
