This is amazing, so much variety, so clean, I can't wait to bring my vegetarian partner here, something for everyone! Check out the videos...salt and pepper shrimp was perfect. Nice service staff... eat here you won't be sorry!

I told myself that I would never eat another Chinese buffet but here I was at my first buffet in a few years. To be honest, I woke up from a nice long nap and must've dreamt of Chinese food. When I woke up, I had a craving for a Chinese buffet. After evaluating the different ones close to me, I went with this one. When I arrived around the peak dinner time on Saturday evening, I was seated immediately by myself in a aisle. This special section was for anyone that had less than 2 people dining. As I ate, I felt like I was eating alone on an island. The waiters must've forgotten about me because I all alone. No one came to pick up my plates or ask me how I was doing. Luckily, more people started to fill in the seats. The Food: A nice variety but honestly, it was hard to find something that I like to eat. Not sure if it's because I'm no longer into buffet food or what? Nothing seem appetizing to me, not even the items at the dim sum. I felt lost at the buffet line. I ended up eating some fried rice and shrimp. The best item was the curry noodle soup. It's a separate line by the hibachi. That was actually the only good thing that I hate. I don't expect much because it's a buffet. A place where you fill yourself up and go home to take a nap. I don't suggest having high expectations here. It's just another mom and pop Chinese buffet. Be kind to the waitresses and eat on.

I know it's silly to have a Chinese food craving but it's what I was thinking the entire time I was driving up from Charlotte. Yelp pointed me to China Buffet and I arrived in the time between the late lunch crowd and the early dinner crowd, but the place was still quite packed. The staff were doing an excellent job of keeping the steam tables clean and stocked. The food was fresh and little of it had been sitting for very long. Being on a keto diet, Chinese food can be a challenge. Not eating carbs or noodles or rice and avoiding sweet sauces is hard. But I managed to skip through most of that and put together two plates of good choices. I also took one turn with the hibachi grill, some sliced beef, onions, peppers and mushrooms but the guy overcooked it to the point that it was chewy, which was unfortunate. Lots of options, even for people who are not big fans of Chinese food. Chicken wings, roast pork, even pizza and garlic bread! [Review 11833 overall, 1615 of 2019.]

What you would normally get at a Chinese buffet is here! From fried chicken, lo mein, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and ice cream. They also have fried crab legs and sesame balls with red bean. Those were the highlights for me. The inside is very spacious for large parties. Took off a star because they put all the dirty dishes right near the buffet (where the servers get receipts and where the drink machine is) which did not seem very safe to me in terms of health.

The waitress stops people demanding tip. All she brings out are the drinks & we left her the tip on a different table (we were a group).

The building is older and you can definitely tell very little effort has gone into the interior. Boxes of random restaurant supplies leaned against the walls and in the corners. The disarray made the place look worn down and uncared for. The food was just "meh". It was your normal Chinese buffet fare that does the job filling you up, but leaves you with a lingering regret that you did not go elsewhere. I normally try to sushi because I, being the panda of a man that I am, love sushi. None of the sushi looked appetizing so I did not even make an attempt to try it. There were two dishes that stood out, however. There was a curry chicken dish and a grilled yellowtail dish that had great flavor and honestly saved the day. The service was a bright spot in the experience. The servers and staff were welcoming, attentive to the customers, and on point. It's disappointing that attentiveness did not carry over to other parts of the restaurant. Raleigh, I hope you have better!

This place is located in the downtown area of Durham on the second floor of a red brick building. There is plenty of patio, bar and dining room seating. It was a little hot for the patio so we sat at one of the tables in the dining room. The menu offers a handful of appetizers and salads, as well as about twenty lunch entrees. I went with the NC pulled pork sandwich. It also had coleslaw on the sandwich. Side options included fries, salad, Brussel sprouts, or onion rings. I went with the brussel sprouts and they were very tasty. My husband had the patty melt with French fries. The fries were a generous and tasty portion. His patty melt was very salty, though. We started with the Guava Pani Puri and Veg Samosa, then moved on to the Achari Paneer, Anjeer Kofta, and Pumpkin Paneer Curry. The Achari Paneer and Anjeer Kofta were my highlights. Both were beautifully seasoned (medium spice), flavorful, and easily the best parts of the meal. The Anjeer Kofta, in particular, was a delicious mix of sweet and savory flavors. Everything was well-prepared and made for a truly enjoyable meal. I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu. really good food and drink!…read more when there are SO many indian restaurants in the triangle area, viceroy stands out by having menu items that are different from all the rest. we ordered a bunch of stuff to share and everything was great. the decor was interesting and very reminiscent of a british pub; although it got loud, it was never overpoweringly so. i started with a drink - the carda-mami, which was wonderful. the gin & honey & lemon combination was really well done and the drink wasn't too strong. for appetizers, we got the momo bhel and the guava pani puri. the bhel was awesome. i would order that again any day of the week. the pani puri was also good, but i couldn't really taste the guava and didn't think it was special enough to warrant the price or order more than once. for mains, we got the smoked dal and the anjeer kofta. both were amazing; i especially loved the anjeer kofta and could taste the figs in the kofta, which worked really well with the sweet malai sauce. the naan was great too. we wanted to try the pineapple hibiscus sorbet for dessert but they were unfortunately sold out - however, our server recommended we walk down the street and get ice cream at the parlour, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. i had a lovely evening here and am happy this place with its menu exists!

It's a casual restaurant but all the decor and the modern touches with Indian influence gives it a great sultry vibe. Food: top notch. Thus far is our favorite Indian restaurant out there. The naan itself is freshly made and SOFT, thick, and has a nice chew. Best naan in the triangle area. Highly recommend the bread basket as you get a good variety of their different naans. The paneer pakora is crispy, piping hot, and has a great cumin and lightly salted taste. In the middle is mint chutney so it's has nice layers of flavors. The lamb palak was super tasty as well! The spinach was nice clay cooked where it was creamy with no bitter after taste. The lamb was fall apart tender! The lamb jalfrezi was also a show stopper, it was spiced, slight tomato sauce, and lambs again, super tender that can be broken up with just fingers. The malai chicken was good, but wasn't our favorite. The meat is tender, but I felt like the flavor wasn't hitting as much as the other two. It was lighter and even with the lemon it still felt like it was missing something. Overall: will definitely be coming back!
