They steal money. If you don't give a tip (all they did was serve my food in a to go container with no option to do it myself), they take libraries and put a tip on your card as they push it through the bank. The food is nasty too. read more

The food is always really good!!! The service is really great! I enjoyed the bourbon chicken which was juicy and packed with flavor, the hong kong chicken tasted of garlic, bell pepper and a tender amount of salt, making it a great pairing with hash potatoes. The bourbon chicken is really good. However, the beef and broccoli is nothing but beef fat and broccoli and they should do much better on allowing people to know that rather than them buying it and it's a whole bunch of beef fat. read more

I was enjoying my noodles, then I ate some orange chicken I'm just a chewing and something was in my mouth I thought it was a chicken bone. I hawked the food up from my throat.. and that piece of iron that you see is what could of killed me.. and they still saying no come from where.. I was traumatized. I love trying Chinese takeout whenever I travel somewhere new and figured i had to try this place while in Alexandria! I tried the chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, and cheese wontons. Chow mein and fried rice were standard--not terrible and also not mind blowing. I wish it had more of that smoky wok fried flavor. Orange chicken flavor-wise was good, though I would have liked less sauce so the chicken isn't as drenched and holds a crisp better. Cheese wontons were good--these are kind of hard to mess up though, imo. Overall, this place is a solid 3 stars! I have yet to try other Chinese takeout spots in the area so I can't say where this stands among the other Chinese places in Alexandria, but all in all this place is mid/decent. read more

I went in two different days both around 10:30 the time it says they open. The first time I placed an order through an app went in when it was supposed to be ready and my order was in fact not ready. One of the owners/employees a man kept asking me what I wanted and I tried to tell him that I placed an order online and the lady next to him told him what I was saying. He started what sounded like complaining out loud but I couldn't understand so who knows but he looked aggregated. He fixed me my stuff real quick because it's basically buffet food and it's sitting in a warmer, get my stuff leave. The second time I went nothing was ready at 10:30 and I was on my break they said it would only take about 5 minutes but they brought stuff out in increments the ladies behind the counter were also rude and not friendly at all, they acted inconvenienced that I even walked in. I sat around for a bit but about 10 mins and I left cause everything still wasn't ready. Let me start out by saying I hate Chinese Buffets. At least the ones around these parts. I've never had a good experience. If you're local, you may remember a place called Famous Wok in the mall. I tried them out when a friend bragged about their bourbon chicken. I was hooked but it was mainly because the service was always outstanding. These are the same guys and gals that ran Famous Wok. They've opened China Bull and have done an outstanding job on their menu. The food is delicious and fresh. The staff is always friendly. Seriously, I can honestly say I've never had a bad or even subpar experience here. On top of all that, it's clean. I'm really picky about little things and I've watched them clean and even throw out an entire batch of food when the cap of an ink pen touched a piece of chicken in the buffet. I can brag on these guys all day. Some of things to know: They give you a ton of food!!! They don't play!!! The prices are great especially with how much you get. The chicken is dark meat. I mention that because I know that it's not always a favorite for some. It's very common to use dark meat or chicken thighs in Chinese cuisines. This is not like your typical Chinese buffets. You can ask for a sample to see what you like. If you like spicy foods, check out their Cajun Chicken. Nice flavor with quite a bit of heat. A combo comes with either a soup or fried biscuit. You cannot substitute. If you want anything else, like an egg roll or won tons, it will be extra. read more

So this place is your best bet for bang for your buck. The food is amazing, and the service is fantastic, which is STUPID RARE for this part of Louisiana! The people who run this restaurant used to run The Famous Wok in the mall. They remembered my face when I walked in the door, AND MY ORDER! It was awesome. You will pay between 8-10$ per person, but if you don't have left overs you will be in physical pain for finishing all the delicious food they give you! Went there for the first time. I accidentally ordered noodles instead of vegetables. I apologized and asked for change while in the line. Lady serving was EXTREMELY hateful and refused to change. I explained that I am a diabetic and could not eat the noodles. Made no difference. She only said "Next time just say vegetables." It was what should have been a simple mistake, and one that she easily could have corrected. She continued to lash at me even after I paid. I threw the plate away, as I could not eat it because of my diabetes, and the fact that I was too upset. Glad they took my money anyway; they apparently need it. Will NEVER NEVER NEVER darken the door of that place again, and will tell all of my friends of this bad experience.
