Bear sized bubble tea (they dress up the bear depending on the season)
    Rachel I.

Moving to Cincinnati I always want to find a go-to Chinese take out restaurant, and this has been it so far. I typically suggest it to my friends whenever they visit me! The best thing about this place is the variety, although I would say some things are different from what I am used to. Lo Mein is typically my go to but these noodles are thicker than most places, so I would only rate 3/5. I highly enjoy the pad thai so that is my usual order and recommendation. I enjoy the bubble tea as a treat, and the large bear sized is just so funny to me. Fast service, I call in my order or order there, it's like they already knew and have my order ready (still very hot) shortly after.

Ordered take out tonight. I have no clue what I took home but it tasted good. I ordered General Tso but ended up with this. It had a few more zucchini in it but I ate those before the picture. I really wanted spicy which is why I ordered what I did, but the food was good, just not what I ordered. That why I gave them the 4 stars.

    Orange Peel Chicken

We had heard rave reviews about this place from a few people so we decided to check it out. The inside is nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were seated and handed menus immediately. Food order was placed within a few minutes. Hubby got Lo Mein with chicken, 2 egg rolls and I got Orange Peel chicken and fried rice. Within 7-8 minutes the egg rolls came out piping hot. Hubby said they were one of the best he's avert had. Not long after the rest of the food came out. DELICIOUS! I cannot day enough about how fresh and flavorful the food was. Portions are big so we knew we would have leftovers. Best part is the price. Both of us ate and brought home food and it was less than $20. We will definitely add this place to our rotation of weekend dining options.

    Twice Cooked Pork

Constantly good cheap Chinese food! The service is fast and friendly. The steamed wontons are amazing! The food is never greasy and always made to order. My go tos are twice cooked pork and house tofu. Unlike other Chinese restaurants, the entrees are packed full of vegetables and protein. If you're in the area this place is worth it!

Idk why all the bad reviews, this is delicious! I never heard of adding cucumber in sesame seed chicken before but its amazing! Also tastes very fresh.

The gentleman asked if we had reservations. We did not. He simply said, "Then we'll have three more guests for the evening" or something along those lines. He was very kind. Before our friend arrived, a woman stopped by to welcome us. Top notch service so far! The ambiance is beautiful. The lighted tree and decor behind us was a lot, but it felt tasteful. Jack, our server, stopped by to get us water. When our friend arrived we had a lot to talk about. Jack stopped by several times and was very chill about us taking our time. He said he didn't mind if we still weren't ready and he'd return to check on us as often as necessary. Again, kindness and patience abound at Oriental Wok. The Ma La Dumplings were absolutely delicious. The filling was delicious and the spice level, which we knew would be spicy, was perfect. Truly a wonderful bite. I had Five-Spice Tofu. The tofu was crispy as advertised and the greens were in a very light and delectable sauce. Green onions were sprinkled with the greens. I feel sometimes greens like these are an afterthought at many restaurants. At Oriental Wok they were as much a star as the crispy tofu. Mark had Orange Chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. He mentioned the orange flavor was perfect. Either Jack asked if we wanted dessert and I missed it or he didn't ask. Our friend thought maybe he did and she said no, but she couldn't be sure. I just remember him stopping by to ask if we needed boxes. Anyway, next thing I knew we had our checks. I really wanted dessert, but I took it as a sign it was time for us to wrap up. I'm absolutely certain he would have been more than happy to bring us some dessert and update our checks, so going without was on me and that's cool. I think it's safe to say we will be back!

Ordered green tea, a Jade Dynasty cocktail and pot stickers to enjoy while we perused the menu (including the picture book!). The pot stickers were delicious! More like meatballs inside, served with a I-don't-know-what-this-is-but-it's-delicious sauce. We ordered and were pretty quickly delivered our mains: How Fun noodles (level 2 spice) with chicken and Pepper Beef (level 3 spice). Both were outstanding! The sauces on both were savory and delicious. The noodles were great - not slimy like they can sometimes be but firm yet delicate. The chicken was tasty. The pepper beef was tangy and tender with a nice balance of peppers and onions. Serving sizes big enough for lunch the next day. Vibrant decor made the place really feel alive and servers were friendly and efficient. We found street parking but I assume this part of Covington gets busy on weekend nights so allow a few minutes to find a spot. Bonus tip: stop at DelGardo's down the street and get a couple cannoli for dessert. Perfect end to a delicious meal!

Restaurant was crowded but we were sat immediately. Service was good - not super attentive but we were able to order quickly. I had to ask for more water throughout the meal and then they brought checks and boxes before we asked while we were still eating. We ordered the dumplings, orange chicken and how fun noodles. They have a spicy scale of 1-10, I opted for the 5 on the how fun noodles, and they were spicy!! Made me wonder what a 10 would taste like. Dumplings were good - though the bottom broke on them while we were eating them. Definitely homemade! My daughter loved the orange chicken / it also had cucumbers which she didn't love. My noodles were okay - nothing memorable in terms of flavor and very spicy. Overall a bright, well themed restaurant but I don't think I'd go back for the food.
