    Spoiled shrimp

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, the shrimp was spoiled, now I understand why people don't like it here. It should be inspected and close is not safe to eat there

    Beef and broccoli

Had the taste for some beef & broccoli. Out of all the Chinese food restaurants in the area this one seemed to have the "best" reviews. I placed a pick up order for a large. It was a little over $14 & it was ready within 10 min. The service was quick and very friendly. The beef & broccoli had absolutely so flavor. When I say none I do mean NONE. $14 wasted! I have never tasted something from an Asian restaurant so bland! With that price I won't be changing another meal!

Great lunch place. Love the fact that you can order online and pick it up. I typically order spicier food when available and I was quite pleased with my spice level, including the extra chili oil I ordered for it. I will be ordering here often.

General Tso's lunch combo with fried rice and egg roll

I recently had lunch at China City and thought it was very good. I had the General Tso's lunch special with fried rice and an egg roll. I ate inside the restaurant at one of their 4 tables. The chicken was very tasty and had a good crunch to it. The fried rice had a great brown color to it but needed little more soy sauce to bump up the flavor. The egg roll was nice and crunchy too. I thought the lunch was definitely worth it and planning coming back to try some other dishes soon.

General Tsos combo with egg roll and boba tea.

On a business trip and decided to order in to the hotel. Ordered the General Tsos combo with the canned bubble tea. I gave the place two stars because its not good take-out Chinese compared to what we have back home near Philly. The taste was ok, it wasn't disgusting or anything. I liked the fried rice with the egg and vegetables. I do, however, wish they used real rice instead of whatever brown round shtuff they use. It sort of felt like par-boiled brown rice. The General Tsos was a disappointment. The breading was thick and hard, almost as if it was microwaved. The sauce was a little bland... but it tasted liked "generic" tsos. The bubble tea... yuck. The boba was more of a crystally jelly and not gummy. Sort of like Korean do-to-ri-mook. I keep ordering from this place by mistake whenever I'm down here. This time I'm leaving notes so I don't make the same mistake.

Sesame chicken and fried rice from China City

I had the Lunch Special for $6.35, selecting sesame chicken, fried rice and a bottle of water. I added six fried dumplings for $5.15 more. I was given a packet of soy sauce for my dumplings, but I put duck sauce on them instead. (I actually prefer vinegar on my dumplings but didn't bother to ask if they had any.) I found the food here pretty good: a bit above average compared to most similarly priced (that is, inexpensive) Chinese places. I dined at a table out front. I suspect that a large majority of their business is take out and delivery.

I've gotten many things here and all weren't that good. (Esp the lo mein-horrible) Tonight I thought we would try there general tso while I was at Publix. Hard to go wrong on that.. it was so sweet.. tasted like they dumped a cup of sugar in the sauce. The small chicken was $10 and they don't even fill it to the top like every other Chinese restaurant. Normally for $10 you get your moneys worth at a Chinese take out.. I was still hungry after I ate this- in one sitting. Well with what I could eat I should say. There was a good bit that had like no chicken inside of it (picture shown) or it was so hard and dry which made it inedible. This will be my last time coming here.. no matter how bad I want Chinese and this being right up the street.

Tastes great. Pepper steak with onions. I asked for extra vegetables (up-charge). Extra veggies: carrots, snow peas and water chestnuts.

Very good menu selections and the food (my order) tastes great; very flavorful! I ordered the pepper steak with onions but I asked for extra vegetables (up-charge). My extra vegetable choices were carrots, snow peas and water chestnuts. Egg roll was well made and delicious; nice and crispy. Side order of crab rangoon was also crispy and delicious. Very fresh! Order was togo, it was still well "plated". I already can't wait to come back and try another dish!! Looking forward to more visits. Service: Very good. Young lady at the counter was helpful and friendly. Restroom: Clean.

It does feel like a lot of work at first. But hot pot you are just throwing stuff in the pot and bbq you are flipping them over, we also made fried rice on the grill too. My husband and I enjoyed it. He often doesn't want to do it and we both thought it was tasty. They have desserts here as well. He had a strawberry cake and I had a mango cake. We were both so full when we were done. It's stylish inside with large and small booths. It was two of us. I would have wanted a bigger booth bc of all the plates and bowls we had.

It was crazy hot so we couldn't sit on the patio but at sunset it was still a stunning view. Kalby was an absolute pleasure to be serviced by. She was attentive and used her talents to help recommend entrees from the menu. Our starter was the bulgogi skewers which were perfectly balanced with sweet and Korean spice. The edamame was our least favorite dish. I did discuss this with kalby and the manager. The idea was there but poor execution. The gochujang sea salt...the gochujang just wasn't there and once you ate that top layer all you got was oily edamame, so much oil...you wouldn't need chapstick for the rest of the day. Then wins though came from the cocktails. Ours were delicious and my old fashion was spot on. Also in the win was the sunset sushi, beautiful and fantastic, along with Korean crispy chicken. The peanut sauce was the perfect balance to that meal. Now...what we also loved that should be permanently on the menu was the mochi. We had 4 of them and they were wonderful! Everyone should be able to experience these. But ocean hai on your list as a must try place for sure.

We had the nicest table right on the patio overlooking the beach and it was fantastic. Our server was pleasant when she was around, but it seemed like she went missing for long periods of time and always right when we seemed to need something. Service was generally slow and the restaurant wasn't super busy when we were there. Food was mediocre at best. We started with the bulgogi beef skewers and the ahi tuna apps. The skewers were sort of dry and chewy...and I don't know that they tasted like bolgogi. The tuna tartar app tasted heavily of lime and nothing else and the cuts on the tuna were pretty messy and made it a bit difficult to eat. The grouper entree was okay, but the piece of fish I got looked like a baseball in that it was thick and sort of round? It made it just kind of tough and overcooked on the outside and a little undercooked on the inside. The chicken fried rice was good, but nothing to write home about.
