Found the food to be cooked well and tasty .. we were in the area for a month and a half and had takeout from here several times .

There are several Chinese take out spots around here. I've tried them all and china wok is the best. I like to judge a place on how their fried rice is and this spot has really good combo fried rice. We have tried most of the items on the menu and I've never had a bad meal from here. Their prices are fair and they always make the food quick. If you want some Chinese food this place is it. And a weird thing is many Chinese places are closed on Tuesday but this place is open. read more

Food was just "ok". I probably wouldn't go back. Fried rice was below average and was bland. The bourbon chicken was gritty and not lean and tender. Wonton soup was decent. Egg rolls had a weird taste. The cashew chicken was average. $30 for the 2 combos. Kinda steep. read more

Not great, not bad. Garlic chicken was extremely sweet, not spicy at all, which it never is at any Chinese restaurant, but lots of chicken. Fried rice was bland, but not bad. Lo mein had a different flavor than most lo mein, but again, not bad. I would choose to try a different place rather than go back here. read more

First time having China Wok here in Clearwater and it was very delicious! My family and I ordered the Family Special C which comes with a Bucket if Fried a rice of your choice, Bucket Meat selection we chose the General TSO Chicken, and comes with a 2 Liter Soda with a side of Crab Rangoon's. All this for $40 and tbh it feeds a family of 6! There we're so many left overs! The business is still operating but Take-Out only which is okay and staff was quick, nice, and all used masks and had lots of hand sanitizer. Great food. We're vegetarians, so we had the Szechuan tofu, the general Tso, and the vegetables with garlic sauce. The Szechuan sauce was spectacular, and the vegetables and general tso were good. I have lived in the area a while and have yet to find a Chinese takeout place that's worth recommending and this place, sadly, is no different. Its okay but certainly nothing above 3-star fare. I ordered kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, vegetable lo mein, pork fried rice, and hot and sour soup. All of these were a la carte and not dinner combinations. The pork fried rice was noticeably just lightly fried and lacked the darker coloring and deeper flavor that I am used to. The kung pao chicken was okay but the flavor was just meh. The Mongolian beef was the best of the lot but still just okay. Bottom line is that it was just okay. Not bad, not great and I can't say I'm disappointed but it's not worth driving to that part of Clearwater for. read more

Me and my fiancé are new to the area and we have been DYING for some Chinese. The thing about take out is it can be really good, or really bad. It's usually a big hit or miss. The last few places we have tried were misses and as much as we love Chinese food we were about to give up our mission for deliciousness until we tried China Wok! This food is AMAZING! I got the bourbon chicken and it was the perfect texture, really tender and delicious and I could really taste so many different flavors in the sauce. My fiancé got the honey chicken and he loved it, and they even include pineapples in that combo which is an awesome little touch. The pork fried rice was delicious and the veggies and shrimp tasted fresh! We didn't get that usually yucky feeling you get after dining takeout, we just felt like we ate some yummy grub! Not a happy camper! I had my order delivered via Grubhub. The delivery driver was the only one that came out on top due to my tip. The food was terrible, just terrible! The beef-on-a-stick should have been called beef-jerky-on-a-stick. The food had no distinguishable taste at all except for the taste of the dirty cooking oil that everything was fried in. The Pu-pu platter left much to be desired. Most items were overcooked and/or not palatable at all. Worst Asian food I have ever had! My previous review for this restaurant is inaccurate. I meant to review the other establishment. To be fair with China Wok, we tried their food. We ordered shrimp chosuey, beef with broc, fried rice, and egg drop soup. The 5-Star rating is not a hype, the rating is as good as it gets. I have not had an authentic tasting chinese food for a very long time until China Wok. They can deliver without having to use a third party delivery services. This a little hole in the wall. The food is amazing. Not greasy and so flavorful. The egg rolls were so crispy, the pork fried rice has lots Of lean pork bites, the rice is not sticky it's fluffy. If you don't want Chinese the American fair is very good. The place has a plexiglass and you get you food through a flap door and you pay that way too. No contact. We saw this place during our drive to Clearwater beach. We stopped on our way back home to pick up food. Instead we decided to eat some at the place. The staff is very friendly we got greeted as we walked in by not only the lady taking the order but the cool as well. I think it's a husband and wife team but don't quote me in that. They both have big smile all the time. So not only the people there are nice but the food.... oh man!! The food was great. We order our usual go to items "general tso" and bourbon chicken dinner meals with fried dumplings and crab Rangoon. Parking is in the back or in front of restaurant but getting out could be a hassle because the main road is behind you. Ordered General Tso's Chicken, Pork Lo Mein, and Pork Egg Rolls via UberEats the other day from this location. Since we used a courier service, I can't speak for the location, but the portion sizes were great for what we received. The General Tso's was my favorite & the lo mein was quite good, but had a heavy onion flavor so next time I may ask for less onions. The egg rolls had a great crisp/crunch to them, but there wasn't much pork in them so that was pretty disappointing. Food arrived super hot though & got delivered very quickly, so they're speedy here for sure. We'd order from them again for sure, but maybe modify what we get next time. read more

It's a family owned business and the owners are also the cook and waiters, they are very friendly and helpful. Not great. Gen Tso chicken more sweet than spicy (specifically requested spicy) and chicken wasn't crunchy at all. Wonton soup at first seemed OK with many very large wontons (actually too many) but left a greasy taste in my mouth. Shrimp Egg Roll was OK (large pieces of shrimp) but not very tasty and no sauces were included. Ordered at the counter and received my order pretty quick. Probably won't be back. read more
