I ordered back in October and November and found this restaurant I'm quality going down to choose the food was gross and I vowed never to order from there again. My daughter ordered from them last month and the condition of the food had greatly changed. It was good again. I ordered Saturday I got the egg for young and shrimp, fried rice and egg rolls. Wanted something quick and close for New Years dinner. Food was ready in about 15 minutes which was nice but the food itself was just alright. Not sure is it was because it was 6pm and they closed early for the holiday or if this is normal quality. But the fried rice was quite dry, taste was fine, but no sauce or moisture. Got the new honey chicken they advertised on their website and it was alright. It was hot and crispy, but a bit too crispy. Also tons of breading, each morsel was deceiving. There were times I took a bite and just got breading. It's quite close to where I live so I may give it another go, but this trip was lack luster unfortunately. read more

We ordered almost $50.00 worth of food from them. The crab and cheese smelled and tasted like the oil it was cooked in had gone bad. I called over and complained, the lady asked what we wanted to replace it. We said a large egg drop soup would be fine. When I got there to pick it up, they tried to charge me. I explained the situation, and she said "oil is fine, no one else complain today". I again explained the situation, they again tried to charge me for the soup. I turned around and walked away. Ordered from China Dragon for the first time tonight. The food was just TERRIBLE! I have had bad Chinese food before, but this tops the list! The crab ragoon tasted and felt like it had been deep fried about 3 times, the dumplings were super soggy and grizzly. There were bits of something grizzly in them, no clue what that was! I also ordered the chicken and brocolli. How hard is this dish to make passable? Well apparently, HARD! it was just bad. There was barely, and I do mean barely any chicken in the dish, the brocolli was HUGE and undercooked, and the brown sauce was just OK. I don't remember what my hubby ordered but he said it wasn't bad, just not good. When I arrived they just looked SO unorganized in the kitchen and there were 5 or 6 of us waiting for food. And to be honest, the place isn't all that clean. Lesson learned... The hard way! We literally threw $40 worth of food away and I made grilled cheese sandwiches for us to eat. Never again! read more

The absolute best Chinese food you can get in the Akron area, especially the bourbon chicken. We've been going regularly since we moved to town 3 years ago and never had bad food. It's a smaller operation, so if you order during peak time you can expect to wait a little longer than the 20 minutes estimated pickup time. They aren't going to coddle you. Rude service, overpriced extra sauces, and food is extremely bland. Additionally, they don't have tofu options, which sucks. So if chicken or shrimp is my alternative, then those better at least be good. I've had both, and neither was worth it. In fact the chicken was downright fatty, which is a big turnoff considering I was ordering chicken breast to have a lower fat option, not to be constantly finding it in every bite or spending half the meal cutting it away from each bite. Spices are almost non-existent .. even when I've always requested spicy hot. Yeh, they give you good portions, but then charge a fortune for the sauces you would typically eat it with. Besides, if the food isn't flavorful and/or exciting, then what's the point? So you can have a bunch of blah food you feel obligated to eat? No, not worth it. We've gone a handful of times, and each time just reaffirmed the fact their food just isn't all that good. As for atmosphere, I wouldn't be inclined to eat there. The inside looks no different than its neighboring Subway actually, only not as vibrant. Also there was an instance on the most recent visit when I tried to complain about getting a meat egg roll instead of a vegetarian one, the lady argued and then hung up on me. I will never be back. The owner of this restaurant is extremely rude. I had an Uber eats pickup from here. I have never had the food be ready for pickup when I go here. They always say a couple minutes. Then 15-20 mins later it's ready. So this last time. I was patiently waiting and looking around the store. Watching them cook. After about 15 mins. I walk up and very nicely asked if he knew about how much longer it would be. I like to text the customer so they know. He proceeded to tell me it's ready. I asked him if I could ask a question and before I even had a chance to ask. He says every time you look back and stare at me I increase your wait time. I was shocked because I never once stared at him and I am very nice every time I walk in there. He angrily gave me the bag and I left. Horrible service and it just upset me as I am never rude or impatient. He just lost a customer and delivery driver as I will never accept an order pickup from there ever again. read more

The Chicken lo mein was delicious and saucy. 10/10. The wonton soup was delicious, the dough was a little much on the wontons but overall delicious. I added soy sauce and chili oil which made it even more delicious. Will be coming back soon :) read more

We ordered food for my elderly parents in Akron to be delivered by Uber Eats and it was never delivered! Upon calling, they yelled at me and hung up twice! Not sure if it was an error on the part of Uber Eats or China Dragon, but whichever it was, find another restaurant. read more

This place is horrible. The owner is rude and unprofessional. My brother was looking at the menu and he just kept asking if we were ready over and over again. Food is waaaaaay overpriced. My brother finally got his food but regretted his decision after the first bite. He asked for an exchange or refund and was told to call the police if he didn't like his food! Really? We kindly informed him that since he didn't have any signage he needed to exchange the food. This place is horrible please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I ordered my normal sesame chicken and egg roll. First i ordered and they said 10 min. I got there in 10-15 min they asked what i ordered and then they started cooking it right in front of me. The big issue was that type of chicken is not supposed to be extremely hot it had tons of red peppers in it. So way too hot. The parts that did not have the hot sauce on it the chicken was not good. also it was supposed to have fried rice which it did but they must not of cleaned out the pan cause it also had a few lomein noodles with it. Ordered two general tso's chicken and two ginger ales. The guy made me stay on the phone for 8 minutes because he could not get my order right. Then, he said my total was $14.25 and I needed to get to $15 in order for them to deliver so I ordered a $1.50 egg roll. He then tells me my order was $18 which is obviously not the correct price. When he comes to my door, he takes the $20 bill I handed him and leaves without giving me change. The chicken was not that good and he gave me one sprite and one ginger ale.
