It's ok. It's a gamble ordering from here. Sometimes the wings are cooked well, sometimes they taste chewy. I recommend when ordering make sure you tell the person answering the phone to give you "fresh food" as with a lot of restaurants they pre fry the chicken, leave it sitting out and then fry it again once you order. They keep bumping up the prices for delivery I noticed. It goes up 25 cents every other month now. It doesn't sound like a lot but just a year ago the price of delivery was only about 13 dollars. Now it's like 16. Free soda for delivery.... Shhhhiitttt not unless you spending twenty bucks or more. One of the delivery guys are really sweet but the one that works on mondays not so much. Customer service is perfect , this restaurant understands the community of Rosedale Francis Lewis. I have been buying take out from them for 10 years now and the food is always consistent. Ok this Chinese restaurant has definitely changed. 4 years ago I used to get everything from here but now the only thing I get is either beef/chicken/shrimp with broccoli with GARLIC SAUCE not the brown sauce. I'm not going to lie, they make that extremely well. Even when I temporarily moved to Queens Village, I used to come all the way to Rosedale just for that. Now that I am back, nothing has changed. I still order my usual but when I attempted to order chicken wings twice, both times they were burned and nasty. No flavor. I even ordered the Singapore with chicken and man oh man. I don't even think that was chicken in there sighs. The texture tasted so off. The girl with the glasses that's always there used to be sooooo rude but for some reason, she changed. Awful, awful, just AWFUL! If I could give less than one star i swear I would. Firstly, the customer service is just rude and has absolutely no patience. The food is OK here. I just got my food delivered by another one of their delivery guys and I ask him how much my food was he told $11 and I gave him a $20 he gave me back my change and I gave him his tip. When I did the math, I realized that the guy already took $2 from my money without me knowing and I already gave him a tip!!! Used to eat here when I was younger and the food was actually good. When you ask them for more hot sauce they give you ONE. Like cmon people I like my food spicy. One hot sauce ain't gonna cut it. So... I ordered sesame chicken, shrimp toast and a shrimp roll. I guess they thought I meant fried bread because as I attemtpted to eat the chicken, I realize that it was more greasy batter than chicken. I barfed. I ordered food tonight. I waited over 1hour and 20minutes for food that never showed up. I called three times and every time the guy was on his way. Sorry but no one should wait over an hour for chinese food that is only ten minutes away from your house. Not going to ever call them again. I eat here semi regularly, never had a problem with my orders. Never had a problem with staff either. My food is always fresh and hot and tastes like 97% of all either cheap Chinese joints in New York. So anyone trying to downplay this place as food not to die for, and texture off in their food. Already expect to much when walking in to a facility such as this. Shut your pie holes and realize this is a cheap Chinese joint, with a sign that says no MSG, but in fact are most likely using MSG.
