Tried this restaurant for the first time the other day and it was pretty good. The food seems fresh and it's package well a little more expensive then other Chinese restaurants but I believe they make up for it with the portions. One thing I felt was a little misleading was I ordered the seafood wonton soup. I'm thinking there was going to be seafood in the wonton. Nope just regular wonton soup with seafood in it , It was good though but the regular wonton soup is really good so I'll order from here again. read more

I waited 20 minutes for my order. Then when I finally got my shrimp and broccoli, there were only three shrimp mixed in with the broccoli. The restaurant also had no heat in winter. in regards to the ambience it's mediocre. read more

I've been ordering here since a child with my family. This is very much a family business and they're very proud of their children. They have a Guan Yu statue in the corner that I don't mind. It's kinda cool,serving as a symbol of good business practices. They serve great food, and the front cashier lady/owner operator is very friendly. She speaks very well, and always hands over the bag with a smile. She is courteous, and always ask what sauces I'd like as well as if I'd like a soda. As a college student, I've been eating fried Chinese cuisine all around NY since a youth. But Jade Palace always seems to hit the spot! I usually get a plain fried rice and chicken wings with a soda. Occasionally, I'll get their fried Crab Rangoon. They come with a red tangy sauce! Serious comfort food when you can't cook due to it being late, and you have an exam tomorrow. Above average. Got sesame chicken lunch special, with wonton soup. Fried noodles quite good, soup nice. Pork fried rice NOT dry, which is brilliant: they added a bit of soy sauce and some bean sprouts, making for a fairly delicious rice. Sesame chicken quite good. Overall a good meal, and a bargain at seven bucks. Quite good. read more

Came here a little past 3 for a late lunch. The chef stepped out for a bit so there was just one person handling everything. Kudos to her for beasting it, taking orders, cooking several dishes, and answering the phone. Also, she was very kind and friendly. We order small orders of the Singapore mei fun and Garlic shrimp. The food was good and generously portioned. They even brought it out on nice plates, not the usual foam plates you get at most joints. There are three tables for seating, 10 seats total, so you can sit down and enjoy your meal. Will definitely come back if we're around the area. read more

I usually order from here over the years and I thought their food was ok but the other day I ordered Singapore Mai fun, chicken wings along with some other items. First they stated half an hour but they arrived in 1 hour and 25 minutes and then the food didn't taste the same as before. It appears they are loosing their touch. Big mistake.I did not read reviews before ordering.I just ordered spareribs with black bean sauce.One bite and I was nauseated!it taste pretty disgusting.I also ordered dumplings.They were not good.Thankfully I ordered through grub Hub and got reimbursed for the spareribs.My disappointment is to the roof right now .I was really looking forward to eating some good Chinese food today but this restaurant had other plans for me. read more

I don't recommend this place to anybody. I'm so disappointed in the service I received. I ordered yellow rice with general chicken and two shrimp rolls along with a can of sprite. I got brown/black rice with the greasiest rolls I've ever seen and no soda. I called and the lady explained to me that that's what their rice looks like. First of all, that would've been nice for her to mention as I was making my order. If she said this then I wouldn't have proceeded. Second, no one in their right mind would eat those rolls, not even my dog. Third, that is not how you treat a long time customer. Just because i'm not rich doesn't mean I deserve to be treated that way. Normally I don't take the time out of my day to write reviews but I feel like people deserve to know the TRUTH. This place is disgusting & I will never return! I ordered the chicken wings & vegetable fried rice lunch special. It only came with 3 chicken wings, cut in half (buffalo wings style), the rice only had broccoli & onions, no other vegetables were in it. The rice was very brown and did not taste good. The wings were decent, but small. The egg roll was very oily, hard and stale; it tasted as if it was fried already and reheated. My stomach is making weird sounds as I am typing this & I think I may have the runs from their food. Many high school teenagers were in front of the chinese store entrance smoking marijuana in plain site. When I was leaving the store, I had to say excuse me 3 times before they moved out the way. Besides the fact that it's always bring your children to work day everyday here, the main reason why I'm disappointed with this place is because the food is wack, they over charge and they give you less food then most Chinese food places. My wife is very picky with her foods, so is my boy. We gave this place a shot a month ago. Now it has become one of our favorite spot. Another plus is this place is relatively cheaper than others. I am not sure about other negative comments. Maybe my wife and I are from Taiwan, the foods here are tasted pretty much close to home, but not very Americanlized. American like Chinese foods a bit sweeter in general. Anyway, The must have is Noodle with spicy meat sauce. It will be the best lunch you will ever had for under 5 bucks. The reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is it has the worst air conditioner you can find in a restaurant, basically nonexistent. read more

This Place is not as bad as family Pizzeria and A and H Milkmart but it still has problems. The vegetable Lomein is not that bad and that may allow me to give this place 2 stars but I'm not because of many other problems. The sesame chicken with white rice tastes like water is poured over it and the chefs touch raw meat and then touch ready to eat food and don't wash their hands. That is how you spread salmonella and that is a deadly disease. The employees at this dump need to learn how to properly handle food to ensure the safety of the public. read more
