    My order to go
    Maria C.

Surprisingly satisfied! Everyone should know all Chinese restaurants are not created equal...not sure why especially if you order rice or veggies. Well I have had my share of disappointments at other Chinese restaurants, but this one here, I was highly satisfied!! Now I must say, I have never been the type to just try anything. Therefore, the majority of the menu, at any Chinese spot, I cannot speak on. I play it safe when it comes to Chinese. As a result, you'll see me ordering the broccoli with garlic sauce or I'll order the house fried rice. I figure, there's no messing that up right...but it happens. I ordered a small broccoli with garlic sauce (no rice) from here a few weeks ago. I ended up here only because of convenience to my destination. I also requested my order to be spicy. I paid a reasonable amount... I expected a larger portion, but I think my eyes were bigger than my expectations. Thinking back, the portion was decent for a small size. I assume if I kept the rice, the portion size would of been ideal. While my food wasn't as spicy as I prefer, the broccoli was cooked just right!! The garlic sauce was yummy too!! It wasn't too greasy nor was it seeping out if the container into my bag - I CANNOT STAND THAT. I digress Service was smooth and fast. I placed my order, paid for it and it was ready in less than 10 mins. I was a little hesitant ordering from here at first, because I did not see any other patrons pulling up or waiting for orders. But as soon as I had that thought, two customers came in and another came in to pick up an order. I tell you to see other patrons definitely reassures my spirits when I order and then think twice about it...like I want to cancel my order when no others are around. I'm silly, I know! So yes, speaking on that meal alone, I would definitely recommend you try this location. The restaurant is located in a shopping center that is minutes from the Norfolk airport. There is also a Food Lion nearby and a hair shop (my main reason for being in the center) both are within walking distance. Ample parking. However, there's very low lighting in the parking lot at night, so please be aware of your surroundings. Have fun and enjoy!

Landed in Norfolk around lunch time and looked up nearby Chinese food. It's just your typical fast food Chinese place in a strip mall. Now, I've seen nice Chinese places in strip malls, but this is not one of them. So I already had my expectations set appropriately. There were lunch specials written on a white board, so I went to those. There were 18 entree options, white or fried rice, and choice of egg roll, soda, wonton soup or egg drop soup, all for $5.25. I got the shrimp lo mein (which you still get rice with), and she decided to give me an egg roll with it without asking which option I wanted, for some reason. Luckily that is what I wanted . There's an open kitchen, so you get to see them prepare it hot and fresh. Except for the egg roll, which they take out of the fridge and pop in the deep fryer . The food was ready quickly and was a very generous portion! The fried rice was pretty bland, but the lo mein was decent. And I mean, the egg roll was an egg roll. 3 stars may be a little generous for the quaand taste of the food, but if you want something fast, cheap, and filling, I guess it's ok.

A hidden chinese place in Norfolk. I've been trying to find the best Chinese fast food in Norfolk, VB area. This is far the best one. Many of the other places have the same Taste and style of how it was cooked. I'm asian and so it's darn easy to know which Chinese food is actually worth eating. My go to spot for fast food Chinese.

I really enjoyed my lunch here. This place isn't to far from my work amd in a small shopping center. The lunch option comes with fried or white rice and either an egg roll, soda or soup as a side. I got the shrimp lo mein with fried rice , wonton soup and aged an egg roll. Ive always found fried rice in Hampton roads to ride the line of blah or terrible. This place is actually up to my standards. The lo mein was great and so was the egg roll. The wonton i didn't enjoy too much. I thought the broth at first glance was too dark and it didn't taste horrible but i wouldn't get it again. I'm definitely coming back for lunch again.

I've only been to the Chesapeake location, and I love their food, so this was my first time trying the food at the VB location. I was quickly greeted as soon as I walked in and was seated right away. I loved the clean and modern decor of the restaurant. My server was super friendly and brought over the menu. I knew I wanted the Wonton in Hot Chili Oil but I also wanted to try the Dan-Dan Noodles here, because I wasn't a fan of them at the other location, so I ordered both of those along with Salt & Peppered Prawns. The food was served fairly quickly. I started with the Wontons but there was something in the chili oil that made my mouth extremely tingly and numb. I normally get a slight tingly feeling when I eat them but this was intense. I couldn't even finish it. The Dan-Dan Noodles were incredible though! They had the perfect amount of flavor and spice. The Salt & Peppered Prawns were good, but I probably won't order them again. The flavors were great but the seasoning is only on the shells. I found myself rubbing the de-shelled shrimp on the seasoned shells to give them some flavor. I did attempt to eat them with the shells on but I wasn't a fan. You really can't go wrong at Judy's! The staff were incredible and the food is good!!! I still prefer the Chesapeake location but I'm glad I was able to stop in and try the food out at this location as well.

That was reassuring, busy is usual a good sign that the food is good. The location is great, close to the beach. The food was nicely packaged in sturdy containers and not styrofoam! We ordered orange chicken and broccoli beef. Both were tasty and fresh! Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

It is one of those things where one place might have great fried rice, one has great egg rolls, and another has great lo mein. Overall the food was good as I went with the General Tsos combo that comes with regular fried rice but for a small upcharge if you want to change the rice to pork or shrimp. To me it is still unusual as I thought ham fried rice was just a normal thing that comes with a dinner combo along with an egg roll. Not anymore. I ordered an eggroll (2 per order) to go with the meal along with a teriyaki stick. The teriyaki stick (you get 2 per order) was pretty good and not dried out to the point where it could pass for jerky. The chicken in the dinner was good and not overly breaded. It was supposedly spicy but trust me anyone could handle this spice. Good spot to quench your hankering for some American Chinese food. Parking can be a bit iffy with a few spaces in the front on the street shared with other restaurants but the same holds true for the spaces behind the building.
