Saucy, but otherwise good. All 3 dishes we ordered were swimming in sauce. We will be back though we will order with half sauce in the future. Being a former New Yorker, I've had Chinese Food from some of the best restaurants in New York now living in PA for the past 16 years I couldn't find a decent Chinese II on Route 309 the food is excellent here I can honestly say it is up to par with Chinese Food from New York. I don't eat sushi as I am allergic to fish, but my daughter loves it. She said it's one of the best sushi she's had I personally met the chef and understandably why the food is so good, he is formally from New Jersey so if you want a real treat try China House II Route 309 you definitely won't be disappointed read more

The food was good, it came in good time. My only complaint was the server couldn't be bothered with meeting our needs. She never stopped by once to ask if I needed anything. I had to go up and request esta napkins and she responded like I had disturbed her nap time. I am in love with China House. The food is always well done and high quality. The hundreds of times I've been there, I've never been able to complain about my food or the service. I appreciate that they have Chinese, Japanese, and Thai options to suit all of your Asian food needs. A few menu items I'd recommend would be: Chicken fried udon, shrimp chow fun, shrimp pad Thai, the teriyaki bento boxes, and the sashimi deluxe. These are all fantastic options that are made fresh for every order, and taste delicious. If you're craving some Asian food, this is definitely the place to go. read more

You wouldn't think a small town Chinese restaurant would be this good. Last night I had the Moo Shu Vegetables. A terrific tasty variety of vegetables served with rice, pancakes, and hoisun sauce. Big portion for $8.50, I am enjoying another portion for lunch with enough left for tomorrow's lunch. My husband enjoyed the hot and sour soup, egg roll, and Orange Chicken. He's also eating his leftovers for lunch. Total bill including tip and his beverage was $31. Well worth it. My sons tell me their sushi is excellent as well. The restaurant is clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, with attentive servers. We will return. read more

Hands down best Chinese Food spot in PA or MD. The sushi is a little pricy but the quality makes up for it, lunch specials are a staple for the amount of food for the cost, and the staff is always very helpful. My favorite meal is "Crispy Tuna Appetizer" with a Chicken and Broccoli lunch special. read more

I like this place a lot. While it is a little bit more expensive than other Asian places in the area, it has a wide selection of food from all over Asia such as Chinese, Thai, and Japanese dishes. That and I feel like the food is just more "real." I think everyone has that one time they were eating Chinese food, and they honestly couldn't tell if their General Tso's was even chicken. Not this place, everything I've had looks real meat that seems to be butchered and cooked recently. They also have a garden out back, which I think is a nice touch. The location is a little bit of pain. Parking isn't really plentiful nor is it really easy to enter and exit. But it is right next to a local community college. read more

My family owns a restaurant and we only get to go out to eat once a week. We often use our one day to eat out at this place. The sushi is always perfect. I have never had a roll that wasn't great. The owners work very hard and are always so kind when we visit. The service is also very attentive. I can't believe its not a busier place given how clean it is and how great the food is. FYI- you can get their homemade ginger dressing to go also! The family even grows their own veggies behind the restaurant. The "Snowy Mountain" roll is my personal favorite. We were told about going here a few years ago and were mildly suspect trying raw fish in such an unassuming location but trust me, you will not be disappointed. Can you give more than 5 stars? This place is absolutely fabulous!!! You get so much food and it's just so so so good. By far my favorite Chinese food restaurant. The inside is just so cute too. They have a garden in the back, I'm not sure if they grow some of their own veggies and herbs but it just adds to the place and the greatness. I eat from this place several times a month. They have to be one of the best in the area. I only ever had 1 issue with them when they forgot my crab rangoons. When I got home and seen they were missing I called up. They said to come right out they will be ready. I drove back and they apologized that the obe girl put them in the wrong customers bag. Great option in this area! I like that this place has a variety of Asian cuisines so if your party isn't all on the same page, there will hopefully be something for everyone. We did takeout last night and were completely satisfied with our dinner. I am extremely picky about sushi, and this place has great sushi. I went with the three roll combo- a salmon roll, tuna roll, and spicy salmon roll. All were fresh and delicious, with sizeable amounts of fish in each roll. The sashimi selections were awesome too- yes, pricey, but they give you thickly sliced pieces- delicious! By my standards, that's really all you need! Would definitely order again! read more

Not very good food and very unhappy with the service. Apparently at lunchtime you need to be very clear you want the lunch price or they will just do the dinner. I find that to be neglectful service. Wasn't happy paying 16 for something that should have been 6. Even after expressing that I meant I wanted lunch special, that I had pointed to and at 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon it's good serving practice to clarify before giving and charging someone for the entree or dinner version. read more

Not bad. I prefer their fried rice to the other places in the area, but the won-ton soup leaves something to be desired. They also have sushi, but since I cannot stand seaweed, I haven't eaten it. Not the best location, anyone who lives in the area can attest to how hard it can be getting in and out of the parking lot at certain times of the day. This place is usually decent, we usually get our lunch at work from them. However today when we ordered I looked at the menu on the website which said $5.25 for lunch special. I couldn't believe it was this low, so when we placed the order over the phone I asked the girl who picked up if the specials are indeed $5.25 to which she said yes. When I went to pick up the food and pay, we were charged $6 per special. When I asked about it, the girl at the register started laughing and said that they haven't updated the website in 3 years, and they don't discuss prices over the phone. The food is good overall and the best Chinese in the Schnecksville area. My only complaint is that I enjoy spicier food and their spicy dishes seem to have zero spice. Even when requesting extra spicy with my orders I notice no difference. When I've lived in other areas I've enjoyed better Chinese food restaurants that actually added spices such as red chili peppers to their dishes. I've never seen any evidence of red pepper in any dish at this restaurant unfortunately. read more

Located across from Lehigh carbon Community College. Nice atmosphere for eat in dining and waitress staff is very pleasant and efficient. Thier food presentation is fabulous and the tase is exquisite. If you like SUSHI ask to try their 309 special sushi with lobster (it is not on menu) but great! read more

There were some good parts to this place. The rolls were tightly wrapped and the soup was hot, but outside of that there was little left wanting me to come back. I got the steamed gyoza and it was cold when it arrived and there was absolutely no flavor to them even when I dipped into the sauce. The sushi looked more appetizing than it was. The spicy tuna roll wouldn't make my 2 year old flinch and I even was adding their take on wasabi (very mild). I like the flavors of the different fish but with my 3 rolls I couldn't tell what was what. It was disappointing. read more
