Food: The menu had a good variety of traditional Chinese dishes along with some Thai options as well. I ordered the Pineapple Shrimp. It came with broccoli and a side of white rice. The broccoli was crisp and fresh, and the white rice mixed perfectly with the pineapple sauce to give you a sticky pineapple rice. The shrimp were fried golden to perfection, slightly overdone on the inside. Service: The woman who served me was so sweet. She checked back in to ensure nothing else was needed after a few minutes of eating. She was attentive without being overbearing. Ambiance: You will look at the outside of this restaurant and expect a rundown place inside, but it's anything but. The eat-in area is super clean and has an adorable trellis with hanging grapes and vines. There's booth and table options available which adds to your personal comfort preferences. Value: The meal was on the higher end of what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant, but adding in the service and ambiance, I feel it was worth the cost. read more

Pretty good Asian food in an area where there are not many other good choices. The food looks fresh ... Bright color veggies. Unfortunately, I did get a very poor mu shu chicken with very little chicken when though I asked for and paid for extra. The little bit of chicken that was in there was dark meat and unexpected. The order we got about 2 days ago for chicken satay looked horrible to be honest. It looked like they found a few sparrows on the street and stuck skewers through them. Of course it wasn't, but It was inedible to be honest. Burned and poor quality. The Pad Thai chicken was good. So, some inconsistencies... But worth trying again. Came here to eat with friend couple months ago. Friend ordered hot tea, which we shared. We both ordered Happy Family dish with brown rice and diet soda. She also got shrimp roll. Happy Family dish tasted pretty good. Scallops we're such tiny pieces, we got very little scallops. Friend complained we got so few shrimp, owner/chef brought extra fresh-cooked shrimp for us to supplement what was originally given to us. I am always skeptical of a multi-cuisine restaurant. With Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dishes on the menu...I was worried they were trying really hard to do many things, rather than doing a few things well. With my husband working the night shift, I decided to order some take out. Yeah, I'm really living it up on a Saturday night. Would have ordered delivery to be ultra-lazy...but it's a $15 minimum and I couldn't justify ordering that much. When I arrived, the appearance of the place made me a little concerned. But, I'm determined to find good Chinese near my house so I don't have to drive across town to Asia every time I want some good Chinese food. :) Had the sesame chicken and crab rangoons. I am so excited to find some crab rangoon that are made with the won-ton style wrappers. They were perfectly crispy and not greasy. May be some of the best crab rangoon I've had since moving to the Lehigh Valley. The sesame chicken was really good as well - not over battered and nice and juicy. The sauce wasn't too sugary and had just the right amount of spice. I will absolutely be back. Next time I will have to try the Pad Thai. We received pretty prompt service, but I honestly think that this is a place that is much better for lunch - which is, sadly, not the meal we ate before I wrote this review. Scallop and beef: the beef was okay, but the scallops were awful. I liked the celery. I don't like carrots, so that was a no go. Chicken pad thai: really dry, but my mom comes here fairly frequently and says that it's usually better. Beef yaki-udon: good flavors, pretty good udon - not the best I've ever had, but not bad. I've recently stop by Asian Bistro in Trexlertown on Hamilton Blvd over holidays for dinner with my family and 2 kids. We've ordered sesame chicken and Singapore rice noodle. Both dishes tasted horrible for the price they charging. The price is typical any Asian takeout / dine in but tasted horrible; the beef tasted old, spoiled worst than buffet, you can taste like meat been sitting for along time and they heated it back up to serve. The sesame chicken nuggets didn't taste like chicken at all; random while some had actual chicken strips while others were like breaded some sort. We couldn't make out what it was made out of. On top of that, they charged $1.50 glass tap water. Never had I been to Chinese restaurants charge for water that's not from bottle. I was so afraid that my kids were going to get sick but after few hours my throat felt funny and get that unhealthy feeling in my system. My wife agrees with me that food was spoiled and they shouldn't have served it. I am not a new customer to this place as I work nearby and have their lunch menu all the time. They are definitely going downhill and cut back in menu selection as well. Everything points to business failing and affecting service and food quality. A great lunch spot. The specials are a bargain for the amount of food you get. Small inside, busy at lunch, but I've never had to wait for a table. I used to go here several years ago, but lost the place on our list of regular spots. My wife and I had Luncheon menu over Memorial Day weekend and it was terrific. We each had a tasty cup of wonton soup. I had Mango Chicken that was sliced chicken with freshly sliced mango; along with a few snow peas and red pepper slices. It was sweet and very tasty. My wife had Chicken Pad Thai. It was a large portion for a luncheon special and my wife loved it. We both had generic fried rice, which was crispy, white and also very good. This little restaurant goes unnoticed easily, but is a real gem. Just go west on Hamilton and after you pass the Air Products plant it will be on your right. The food is amazing, so far everything I have tasted has been spot on. You can tell that the person cooking has had culinary training, this is NOT your average asian/chinese takeout taste. The Bistro Steak I had recently was tender and flavorful, served with a ginger dipping sauce to die for. The snap peas were crunchy and delightful, and I could tell that the fried rice had just been prepared, not scooped out of a big pot of rice that had been sitting for hours in the kitchen. Another favorite of mine is the Chicken Pad Thai (also available with Shrimp), and you can adjust the 'heat' level to your liking. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the presentations are nice. Also it is very affordable. You can have lunch for under $10 and will have enough food to take home for dinner. Go. The food is pretty awful. I've ordered from here twice (2nd time by accident) and both times I had to throw out the food. The egg roll tasted like freezer burn, the pork in the fried rice looked brownish green and rancid (both times), and the breading on the chicken was soggy and just fell off. Best Asian takeout I've had in the Valley for a long time - especially the general Tso's chicken. I only ordered because they dropped off a menu at my apartment, and they did delivery (unfortunately their website doesn't work quite right and doesn't let me submit delivery orders online because it incorrectly thinks my address is out of delivery range - easily solved by calling the order in), and it was a good choice. Took a bet on an empty parking lot (1 lonely car) at 330pm on a Monday. Little lady greeted us, waited on us, served us (and I'm sure cooked for us). Mango shrimp was amazing with a sauce so Mango fresh that it seemed picked from the tree. General Tso's Chicken had just the right amount of "hot". Lo Mein with chicken, beef and shrimp was tasty.
