We stopped by China King for take out this weekend, and it was pretty good overall! We tried a few different dishes: crab rangoon, egg foo young with roast pork, mapo tofu, and bean curd and broccoli. All the dishes were pretty good (definitely good enough to order again) - I especially enjoyed the eff foo young. Their menu is varied, and the food quality is good. It's a good option for takeout if you're not feeling like cooking and are craving a bit of Chinese takeout. It's not a standout, but it's a solid Chinese takeout option. Who doesn't like the pleasure of the familiar Chinese take out food we have all come to know and love. The "go-to" when you just don't feel like cooking (or cleaning) and want something more than a chain burger and fries. Our family has always had a regular stop for Chinese and China King has assumed that role in our lives. If you are looking for classic Chinese flavors like Lo Mein, Sesame Chicken and Beef and Broccoli that taste exactly as they should than you should certainly try China King. On our visit we received great service and food that was prepared fresh, fast and was exactly what we hoped for. The price was good, the food was fresh and tasted as we hoped .... what's not to like ? The open kitchen made you feel that the restaurant was confident in their food safety and preparation skills. The only reason we couldn't give them five stars was the food, while good, was standard and not stand out. Another reason was the visible clutter behind the counter. So in conclusion the food was good, but not stunning and the pleasant service earned them an additional star giving them an above average rating. We certainly recommend China King as for now they have become our new go to for take out. Good food made by good people. Great Job China King, we will see you again soon ! read more

The General Tso is quite tasty, as was the pork fried rice. The veggie low menu was good but not my favorite. The meal was pricey in comparison to its portion size but overall we really liked it. read more

This place is hit and miss. Sometimes the food is good but more often not. They're only open a couple hours with limited menu now because of covid. I got the orange chicken with fried rice instead of white. It didn't have much flavor except sweet and slightly burnt. No idea why it has a burnt flavor maybe the oil is burnt? I don't normally leave reviews but I've been ordering takeout from here for years but always just get shrimp lo mein. After today I'll never order any kind of meat or chicken from here again. Ordered take out 4 days ago and the food was not bad. Didn't like the guy at the register paying more attention to his phone than me. Today 3 of us went there for lunch. Walked in at 11:05am. The whole place was disgustingly dirty. Every table was dirty. The floors had food all over. I walked up to the counter and again the guy was face planted into his phone. I told him "this place is very dirty and EVERY table is dirty" his reply " I can fix that" He went out and cleaned one table and quickly went back to playing with his phone. I looked around again, looked at him and said screw this I'm leaving. So we left and will never return. read more

Eating in I have seen other regular customers do this more than once. Normally there is a puzzled look on the boy at the counters face however the message usually gets through. Mom always told me to be careful of food from a strip mall and boy oh boy is it true in this case. The rice looks funny and didn't taste very good. The sweet & sour chicken was okay. The boneless spare ribs had way too much fat on them to be considered for human consumption. Now the real deal. The lobster and shrimp sauce. It was more like a gooey soup. It was clear liquid and made me and my wife violently sick. We were both throwing up all night. My son who didn't eat that still felt noxious. Worst Chinese food I have ever tasted! Bland, bland, bland! Nothing had any seasoning whatsoever! The sauce on the chicken and vegetables had turned to gel! Very off putting. I see some are not happy with this location. However. I still order from them once a week. The orange chicken is additive, can't eat it without lo mein. I can't eat rice. I guess the only complaint I have is I have to ask for a fortune cookie for my grandson. Don't know why you have to request it..next time I will try to remember to ask. If I could rate it lower than one star I would and here's why. I walked up to the front door and a gentleman was smoking. He smiled and opened the door for me. Kept on smoking. I walked inside and placed my order. The gentleman that was outside smoking and opened the door for me came directly in from outside after finishing his cigarette. He then went directly behind the counter and placed his hands in the shrimp and started to make my meal. I was horrified that he had not washed his hands,sanitized.....nothing. At this point I'd already paid and I asked for my money back. It's more of a Friday night guilty-pleasure takeout place after a crazy work week.
