I came on Saturday and they were closed. what restaurant is closed on Saturdays? most asain restaurants are usually closed on Mondays which are considered "slow" days. I got there around 1120 and the food on the buffet was lukewarm. I like hot food. they don't give military discount. there was over a dozen airmen and soldiers and no military appreciation. my waiter, Jackie Chang, did a good job. Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and it was not bad. Not GREAT but not bad. The sushi here was very good, tasted fresh and not fishy. The hot food was alright, the soup (wonton and egg drop) were slightly lacking in flavor. One annoyance was that there were no condiments or napkins on the table. Things like soy sauce and salt and pepper are usually readily available and I noticed on the side of the restaurant we were seated did not have it. I do also wish they had a cold bar selection, things like salad, veggies and even cocktail shrimp. The place seemed clean, restroom included, I just think the building is older. Service here was nice, everyone was friendly and attentive. And the price isn't bad either. I don't think I would return as there are better buffets but this was a nice place to try. read more

Let's start with a simple... Do not bother. I have had better frozen Chinese food. General Tso's chicken should be renamed General Tso's Mushy Bread. If there was chicken in it, I could not find it. Wonton soup was wonton mush. Chicken and broccoli was chicken mush. Flavorless nasty food. Dried rice (fried dry). Shoe leather pork. Staff could have cared less. This buffet was literally right across from my hotel and I was hungry after a long day. I was quickly greeted and sat, and since it was 4pm the place was switching over to dinner menu. The building is located in a strip mall, along with Fox Den Pizza, and is appropriately decorated inside. I tried egg rolls, pepper chicken, beef and broccoli, and the General's Chicken. Not the best but it's hit and miss. I go there for the buffet takeout. Sometimes food is better seasoned than other times. I wish they had more variety than the same old stuff. I visited for the first time for dinner. I'm not a connoisseur of Chinese buffets but this one seems to be a winner in my book. They had a respectable sushi bar with new rolls being made continuously. I liked all of the food I tried. Some of it didn't appeal but that's part of going to a buffet. All the staple dishes and soups seemed to be covered. Dessert was great too with ice cream and cake and cookies. The place was clean and staff were friendly. I'm gonna set the stage for this review: I decided I needed to smash a large amount of food after a long day of travel, I didn't have a car, and this place was right across from my hotel. Cue the Chinese buffet! It's got everything you want, and it's similar to every other Chinese buffet in every other city: deep fried goodness in 10 different dishes, solid egg rolls, good soup, and fast refills on drinks. The only downside, and it's the only thing I can say negative: their General Tao's is pretty bad. The breading is off, and it's much too sweet. I took one piece because it just didn't look right, and that was enough for me. Thank goodness their other food was so good. If you're traveling through Nashville and need to post up at one of the airport hotels, this place is worth a stop. read more

I was greated immediately at the door, seated and my drink order taken right away! very fast, very friendly service. The buffet was very tasty and always being refilled. My waitress came by constantly to check on me, clear my dishes and refill by drink. Service was exceptional and the taste of the food and great service makes this a buffet you need to visit. This is a very good buffet, the owners are very nice and remember me and my family. It's very calm inside and beautiful paintings. If you come into the buffet near closing time (about an hour and a half) the food will be kinda cold and they won't make new food after that. It's a nice clean place and the people who work here are friendly, industrious and, it appears, darned good cooks. I work right beside this restaurant, but rarely eat there. The food is pretty bland, standard fare. My major issue with the shop is that their lunch price DOUBLED overnight, which they didn't happen to share until I went to pay. So the price jumps while the quality slowly goes down. I've been wanting to try them for awhile but for some reason or another I never got around to trying them. Last night I got to craving general tso, so I decided that I'd get some from somewhere I've never been to before. I ordered off there website using the beyond menu app. I got general tso mild spicy, with lo mein instead of rice for an additional cost, and cheese wontons. It is a lot of food for the price. The general tso had really good flavor, although I should have gotten it spicier but got it mild since I haven't been feeling 100 percent the last couple days. The mild is not spicy at all so if you can't stand heat you will be able to tolerate it. The lo mein is well seasoned and a good portion. The cheese wontons are the second best I've ever had, I love that I could actually see the green onion in it, it came with sweet and sour dipping sauce. The dipping sauce is a good sweet and sour. The good: delivery driver was fast and courteous, including delivering most of what was missed the first time. The bad: they did not include most of the specifics I asked for on the order on Yelp. Asked for 10 soy sauces, Spoon and Fork, and napkins. Got for soy sauces and napkins. Should I even need to ask for a spoon and fork? Also ask for extra sauce on my dumplings. Did not receive them. Called them, they told me they would send them out right away, which made me feel good. However.... The ugly: about 15 minutes later, now that the food was completely cold, I received spoon fork and more soy sauce. No sauce for the dumplings. I also verified with GrubHub who fulfilled the order via Yelp that the specifics of my requests were on the original order. So cold dinner, with only a little bit of sauce for my dumplings. Prepaid the tip, which was okay since the delivery driver did his job well. But the extra $2 delivery fee was not worth this trouble for cold food. read more

The quality of the food is above average for the Chinese buffets in the area. Not extraordinary, but not bland and dry either. It's a good lunch place when you have a group of people and you're trying to find a place that everyone would enjoy. Based solely on food, I would give this place 3 stars... a little above average. I went to this restaurant for lunch with a friend of mine and had the Chinese lunch buffet. $8.50. The food was average for a buffet but not quite hot enough for my taste. They had a better dessert and ice cream section than most Chinese buffets do. However, 24 hours later I did come down with a stomachache and chills and spend the rest of the next day in bed. I'm not sure if it was from the lunch, but I didn't eat much the next day. The woman who refilled my water several times was very friendly and had a great smile.
