This place has to have the most disgusting low-main noddles I have ever tasted. Having travel a lot of place and tried different ones these hold the crown for being the worst. They were overly salty and the other taste I can't put my finger on. But if nasty was a flavor that would be the one I chose. Place stay away and don't waste your money. Back in North Carolina there was a China King and it was my favorite place to go for Chinese. When I moved here and saw the name I was hesitant to try it out in fear that it wouldn't stand up to the image I had created for the back home experience. When I arrived with the wife and kids to Myrtle Beach after hours of horrific traffic, no one was in the mood to get back in the car to find a place to eat. I stumbled upon this place while exploring the area and thought it was a good sign that the place was busy and packed with locals waiting for food. When I walked in I got in line and waited a few minutes while the phone was ringing off the hook with people ordering food. I played it safe and ordered some basic pork fried rice, egg rolls and beef with broccoli. All were delicious! Can't wait to have the left overs tomorrow. Best part was that the whole family of four was able to eat a yummy dinner for $20! read more

Love it. Closes thing to New York styled Chinese food you can get in Myrtle Beach. Every time I eat it it reminds me of home.

This is a nice little Chinese restaurant. My only complaint is that they don't have honey chicken

I ordered chicken lomein made with pan-fried noodles. At home, 2 bags of 2" hard noodles, and cabbage I had to cut into 4 pieces. I asked for Szechwan hot, no spice in the lomein. I went back, NO SERVICE! Not even a fortune cookie. I will never go back to this place! read more

Ok long story short tonight is Tuesday,10,2015 . Bought Chinese food from this place it was a big to go order $44.33 dollars. Went home and I was about start eating dinner with my family. As soon as my son open his dinner which it was chicken and rice, he found a huge hair wrapped up in one of the chicken wing yuck , then I opened my dinner which pretty much was the same thing as my sons , well I found another hair wrapped in the chicken wing. We found a total of 4 hairs in 4 to go order the hairs were in the rice n chicken. This place is pretty much discounting we took the dinner back n the two ladies at front tried to tell me that since I didn't get the there within 10 mins the food was bad???? What that's crazy... Won't be going back. Prices have gone up drastically and, honestly, the quality isn't what it used to be. I've been going there for years. The people are great, service is fast. Even when you don't call ahead, the wait is short. But none of that can compensate for bland food at elevated prices. So long, China King. I will miss you. read more

If I could do 0 stars I would give that. I went to this place today and ordered the House lo-mein lunch. 1st of all there is no description about what is in it, the only lo mein I've ever had was just regular lo-mein. I get home take out of bag and there was shrimp in it. Ok, so I called and asked to see if I've might have gotten someone else's order. The lady said shrimp is in the house lo mein, so I asked if I could bring it back and she said yes. So I get there and talk to some lady at the front and I tell her I wasn't told there was shrimp and it's not in a description, so she said I'll give you credit for next time, I said no I want a refund I'm not coming back, so she rolled her eyes got really ticked and refunded me for the lunch bowl. I told her I had also gotten 2 egg rolls, she said they're pork, but I said I don't know if they're any good, how do I know what's in it since I wasn't at least told or shown that there was shrimp in the lo mein. So I said forget it and put it back over in the bag on her side. Granted it was $2.70 for the egg rolls, but that's not the point, it's called good customer service. This review could have gone another way, but with the eye roll and the VERY nasty attitude, this is the way it went. So in the end I gave my refund to a homeless man and said here go get you something to eat, but don't go in there. Plus, when I had gone in to order my food there was a kid (I say kid bc he was old enough to be my son) he had the sniffles and kept sucking up his snot( instead of going to blow his nose) then while waiting in my food he sneezed, but I couldn't tell if he covered up or not and then ended up doing whatever with food. I never heard water run like he washed his hands, but if he sneezed w/out covering/ or if he sneezed in his elbow, I guess you don't have to wash your hands. Just future reference if the owners read this, when someone asks for a certain item just say, just letting you know that this contains X, Y, Z.. you never know if someone has ever eaten it before if if they have an allergy to it. There is a Chinese restaurant that I absolutely love, but it's a little bit of a drive, they have excellent customer service in that area as well as the best food ever! read more
