Hunan chicken in my to-go box.

Ate in instead of just ordering takeout. The service was nice, the steamed wontons were excellent, handmade, and the sauce for them is devine. The chef even cut a butterfly out of a carrot for us. I also had the hunan chicken which wasn't overly spicy. I think anyone who can handle a little spice can handle this dish.

I've been hearing lots of good reviews of Black Pearl. They lived up to the hype. My King Pao Veggies were delicious. The meal comes with 2 spring rolls and rice. The egg drop soup was also really. It was really worn the wait. The cashier was very friendly! The wait for the good wasn't very long. The music was very relaxing so I didn't mind waiting at all. Pay attention to the hours. I've come by twice during the hours that they are closed between lunch and dinner.

All the food is so amazing!!! We live in Louisiana and I am willing to drive 5 hours just for their orange chicken. The service was also really good. Everyone was so nice. The ambiance of the restaurant was also super calm but almost but me to sleep. Overall this place is so amazing, especially if you want real Asian cuisine.

As good as Asian Takeout gets! They were not open for dine-in when we walked in, so we ordered out takeout and waited a minute. They added in an extra order of spring rolls for our confusion! Great service! Will return.

Hands down the best Chinese food I've had in a while! The wonton soup was bomb! It was so good. I also had the shrimp with garlic sauce and veggies! Sorry I don't have a pic, I was starving and didn't think about it till after it was devoured lol. But it did come with a tasty side of fried rice, which I do have. Anyway, definitely give this spot a try!

I stopped by here during a food tour and fell in love with the Thai Red Curry Chicken. After a week, I was finally able to make it back. This time, I tried the Thai Red Curry Shrimp. It was full of shrimp and the red curry was just as delicious as I remembered it. Spicy with a little sweet. I got there around 1:30 and had just beat the lunch crowd. The lunch comes with 2 sides + entree + steamed/fried rice. I chose ginger salad, hot and sour soup, steamed rice. Everything was delicious. Large portion of curry, I was able to get 2 FULL servings out of it. Service was excellent. I will definitely return.

And of course they had me at poke bowls. It's one of my top 5 things to eat, honestly. But I ordered a Buddha bowl because it's almost the same thing and I felt a little lazy to DIY (not to mention, the Buddha bowl looked tantalizing!) They have other veg options, but I set my sights on that bowl as soon as the friendly counter guy suggested it. It's overloaded with goodness--avocado, deliciously marinated tofu, edamame (yes, it's a protein-rich bowl), tomatoes, shredded carrots, diced cucumbers, greens and more. You're literally devouring the rainbow here, friends. For drinks, they have a modest but decent selection of beer, wine (a decent bubbly in a can!) and sake in addition to soft drinks. The place is so beautiful (and spotlessly clean) with plants dangling from the ceiling and beautiful murals throughout. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be here all the time.

The service is *excellent* with a capital "E." We ate at the bar, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about every single aspect of the restaurant. They have tried everything on the menu themselves. They can describe any one of the imported liquors up on the wall. These are real deal professionals who illustrate just how important the people in a restaurant's front truly are. The food? Delicious. It's a wild grab bag of East Asian fare - Chinese, Japanese, Thai - and it's all done extremely well. The portions are small, which is good, since you'll want to try half a dozen things on Current's very deliberately thought-out menu. The Peking Duck is some of the best I've had. The cocktails are also excellent, with my favorite being a delicious, earthy combination of coconut, lime, and pandan. It's like an extremely upscale tiki drink. I cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely perfect. 5 stars.

High ceilings and exposed brick are a few of the ways to my heart. If you've seen a post about this place, you've probably seen a picture of the crackly round, artistic dish and wondered what it was. There are dumplings on the underside of it and you break each one off of the crackly part to enjoy. We did enjoy these but I would've loved a soy sauce to dip them in. They came with chili crunch, peanuts, and green onions but I wanted an actual sauce. They were very standard tasting dumplings and there was nothing extraordinary about them unfortunately. As always, we'd looked at the menu beforehand and decided what we wanted. It does state on their website that their menus can change due to freshness and availability. But we'd both decided on an app and entree we wanted only to get there and have none of them on the menu. I do appreciate a rotating menu to accommodate local items, but I would also love for those to be updated on a regular basis. So after rerouting, we decided on the chicken skewers as another app with the dumplings. These were chargrilled, flavorful, and had a nice crust on them. I got shrimp fried rice and Julia got spicy beef noodles. It was fine but I wish the shrimp wouldn't have been cut up. It felt like they chopped them up in order to not put as many in the dish. At $25 for this, I'd like whole shrimp please. There were a few pieces of raw spinach with pepper on the top. I would've loved a sauce of some kind. I would've preferred shrimp hibachi with fried rice from a Japanese place that included vegetables and sauces. This was not *bad* there was just SO much room for improvement. We both agreed that nothing was awful, but for these prices and the hype, we expected more. Our waitress was super friendly. Bonus points because they had match boxes at the host stand! There was a paid parking lot diagonal from the restaurant, so we had to walk through an intersection to get there. There are some spots up front if you can snag one. Overall, we enjoyed our time here but won't be sprinting back.

My drink order was taken (water) and my server, who answered all of my questions, was very patient and pleasant. For my appetizer, I ordered the spring rolls. They were freshly made and came out hot and crispy. I enjoyed them and would order them again. Now the main course. I opted for the spicy Himalayan chicken, medium heat. I love spicy food, and I thought I was doing the right thing by ordering the medium level. However, it was very spicy! I did notice however, that the longer it sat, the level evened out some. Still, on my next visit, I will try the mild level to compare. The dish was delicious and very flavorful. The white rice added just the right amount of coolness to the chicken and veggies. Upon leaving, I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken in mild. I'm not sure if it's because it's a totally different flavor profile, but the mild has very little spicy. I just can't believe it's that much difference between the mild and medium levels. The drunken noodles were just okay, in my opinion. There was not a lot of juice, spice not flavor in this dish. On my next visit, I will stick with the Himalayan chicken and order it in mild just to test out my theory. The workers were very friendly and came by to check on me and made small talk with all of their customers, including me. I enjoyed my visit and look forward to returning again
