    Chicken and Broccoli
    Shellie K.

Oh man. This was so disappointing. I got the chicken and broccoli and it didn't taste even remotely Asian. It tasted like it was just boiled in chicken broth. The "chicken" was gray and I couldn't even eat it. I ate the broccoli and my egg roll (which was mediocre) and called it... Threw the rest away. Maybe it's a fluke and other things on the menu are good, but I won't be finding out cause I ain't goin back!!!

Got the pork rice sweet and sour combo and the pork was pink. I'm pretty sure pork should be cooked all the way.

I visit China Princess regularly and I'm usually pretty satisfied with the food. The portions are big -- I usually make 2 meals out of 1 order -- and the prices are fitting. The food is always made fresh, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's definitely worth it. It's always a busy place, and seems to be a favorite on this side of town. My favorite item on the menu is the spicy chicken combo, which comes with fried rice and an egg roll. The combo lo mein is also delicious!! It's always hot and fresh made, so there's no complaints on my side. My only tips for anyone considering this place is to take cash because they do not accept credit cards, they are not open on Sundays (bummer), and there is no dining-in, just carry out.

We were not impressed with anything we ate except for the chicken and rice soup. It tasted homemade.

They've got the roast meats, a large Chinese dinner menu, an equally large Vietnamese dinner menu, catering for events, and my favorite: their dimsum menu. For their regular menu, my family and I will frequently order to go and occasionally dine in. We often order off the Chinese menu when we're going family style (flat noodles, salt & pepper squid, egg noodle lo mein, and scallion chicken are some of our favorites), and we will order from the Viet menu for individual portions (we love their egg noodle soups, pho, broken rice platters). One of my favorite dishes is their lotus root summer salad, and I've not found another place that beats that dish here! I've found their service with regular dining in to be hit or miss. Most of the time we get great service but a few times here and there we have a hard time finding our server. Moving on to my favorite part of Golden Phoenix- the dimsum. They serve dimsum primarily on the weekends from opening to 3pm (I think), and they have really brought up the OKC dimsum game with their large and delicious dimsum menu! Their dumplings like the hargow and shiumai are large, filling, and delicious! I particularly love the fried shrimp and chives dumpling and their shrimp egg rolls. The service during dimsum is fantastic because they've got people pushing around carts and carrying plates of food out to you. Once you're ready for dessert, make sure you grab some egg tarts for the table!

I looked at the reviews and everything told me they are as good as they claim, without being "Breaking The Bank Account." The online services are good. Ordered meals for a robust two person dinner for home, because we just wanted to eat at home after a long busy day at work. Nothing fancy, just a comfort meal in bed while watching a Rom-com Movie and enjoying our beautiful dinner. I for one absolutely LOVE Curry Chicken over white rice. The recipe and portions are perfect. So anything you order should be a "Home Run" meal from Grand China! I grew up being able to eat The Original "Jackson Street" San Francisco China Town Center Chinese Food Restaurants. History: San Francisco China Town is the original destination for Millions of Chinese Immigrants who came to America directly from China to work on The Trans-Continental Railroad in the early 19th Century. If you ever watched Bruce Lee's Movies, he shows you a lot about SF China Town's history. Point being, SF China Town set the food quality benchmark ever since they arrived to provide labor for the railroads buildup across America in the early 19th Century. Grand China exceeds that SF China Town Benchmark and you won't be disappointed. Good Day

Normally, as I stated, I only get chicken from a place that gives me chunks of fried or battered chicken. I made the mistake of getting Kung Pao chicken from Grand China. How anyone could stomach this is beyond me. It was horrible. No flavor, no spice. Way too many peanuts and vegetables. I had to leave this review. Luckiky I also got my normal Sezchuan Pork so at least I have something to eat. Never again will I get chicken from here. Honestly, I have no idea how many of you eat chicken from Chinese restaurants. It's disgusting.
