We hear not for dim sum. It in the evening and we decided to try their regular menu. However, the menus on the board were very attractive. We got some dishes from there. We have king mushrooms with cutter fish. This dish is stir fry with mushrooms sauce. The cutter fish and the shrimp are good. The mushrooms also very good. The second dish is the Hong Kong sea bass. The sea bass is filet and deep fry. The Hong Kong garlic is good well with the deep fried. Overall is a good experience. I can deal those things, but when the lady at the register is gauging prices that's not ok. Fung's has quality food. Eating in or taking out, it's very good. It's family style, which I love because you can have a little bit of everything. My favorite dish was the beef flat noodle. Came again after a long hiatus of not eating out and this time Fung's kitchen helped itch my dim sum cravings. Food is as I remembered and for it being one of the two dim sum establishments in OKC, I guess I'll shell out an additional star for it being consistent and fairly reliable. They have seemed to cut the menu by a little from pre-Covid but all the old favorites are still available. Seemed to have gotten away with porridge the two times I came lately which is a shame :( I love the rice porridge with fermented egg. Again, har gaw (shrimp dumplings) which is my most favorite dim sum item was lackluster this time. Fragile wrapper and bland filling had me give up on it here. But the shumai's (both pork and shrimp) were good, riblet's and tofu rolls are excellent, the other items were all above average. The portion is still relatively small and seemed a little overpriced but I will keep returning knowing this is my best bet for dim sum in okc. read more

Most likely the best Chinese restaurant in OKC (I have yet to try a better one), and certainly the "King" of that variety of restaurant in OKC's Asian District. Consistently strong and delicious Cantonese-sequel fare, and their salted pepper fish is stellar. I have been here multiple times, including one time with my friend Tuan Nguyen (who ran for City Council), and that was the time I ordered the fish. Their dumplings, noodles, fried rice, crab Rangoon and similar appetizers are also very good (especially with the accompanying spicy mustard and other sauces). Highly recommended! read more

This place has been inconsistent One time the egg rolls will be super full of stuff and good an the next time the rolls were kinda empty The soup tasted way different on different occasions. I really hated the flavor of the chicken and broccoli. Tasted like soy sauce fish sauce and hoisin maybe. Just not great ... To fishy or something.. This authentic little place has sauteed kong shin tsai!! Also called, "kong xin tsai," or, "hollow-stem spinach," or "hollow-stem water spinach," which roughly translates to "hollow heart vegetable." It is a dish that is extremely hard to find in the States, and it is one of my favorite vegetables. I did not see it on the menu, but was able to order it after hearing someone else mention it in their order. The greens were tender (not rough and fibrous), but a tiny bit underseasoned. But that's okay, since you can always add salt to your liking. This dish is worth the 5-star review alone. I also ordered the gan bian si ji dou (stir-fried green beans with minced pork) and nio roh chow fun (stir-fried beef flat noodles). Both were super flavorful, up to par, and authentic. The flavor profile of the foods suits my Taiwanese taste buds. Would I go back? I had to drive 40 minutes from Norman, but it was darn worth it! Definitely recommend this place to others. As a side note: they speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. I'm not sure if they speak Vietnamese. read more

When I first moved to OKC from the East Coast, it wasn't long before I started craving some good old fashioned dim sum. Fung's Kitchen offers the traditional cart style dim sum on weekends only and many of the dishes will be familiar to experienced dim sum eaters. You have the typical har gow (shrimp dumplings), cheong fun (rice roll), and shumai. As well as the more advanced dishes such as the scallion ginger tripe and black bean chicken feet. The tripe could be a bit more tender and the rice roll flour was a bit on the more al dente side, but those aspects aside, Fung's will satisfy those dim sum cravings. Just be prepared for a decent wait on the weekends. In addition, they also offer some authentic Cantonese fare during dinner time such as stir fried pea shoots, basil clams, and roast duck with wonton noodle soup. I have tried them all and they are indeed legit! I am sure glad Fung's Kitchen is here to scratch that itch! read more

Fung's Kitchen is my family's go-to any time we want good, quality Chinese food. I honestly don't think we've ever ordered something here we did not like. We often frequent here for weekend family dinners which we'll typically order the steamed chicken or salt & pepper squid along with a side of flat noodles. I particularly enjoy the salt & pepper squid and roast duck. I also love bringing my friends here for dim sum on the weekends! However, it is small so beware of the long waits for dim sum. We always order the shrimp dumplings (har gow), shrink or pork shumai, chicken feet, beef tripe, and egg tarts. The servers are all very kind, one of my favorite characteristics of this restaurant. Service is hit or miss though - usually it's just when they're busy, which is to be expected. read more

Check the bill before you pay. My husband picked up the order I phoned in and they charged him $72 for 4 dinner combo orders. Each combo dinner is ~$13 on the menu posted on Yelp and includes rice, egg roll, and soup. We were charged about $20 too much from what I can gather. Ridiculous. And the food was pretty good! Headed over to Fung's kitchen this evening to give them a try. What a wonderful find. We had been looking for a quality Chinese restaurant not too far away from our location, & stumbled upon Fung's kitchen while searching yelp reviews. A really helpful wait staff seated us then made suggestions. We ordered the szechuan pork, a combination fried rice with beef,chicken, & shrimp, steamed vegetables with chicken, and orange chicken. Served with sides of hot & sour soup, eggrolls, & crab Rangoon. Overall a fantastic meal. Every plate came out steaming hot. Everyone agreed that the meal was the best Chinese food they had eaten in a long time. We're going to pay Fung's kitchen regular visits when we get the itch for great Chinese food. read more
